They have Mt Sinai ahead of Bayshore, Farmingdale, Garden City, Suffern? I will give you they are a good team in their own division with a few special players, but this is kinda silly.

Go watch them play... School Names , past performances and reps do not win games... Good teams do....they are good. Fast, aggressive, talented and well coached...

Silly would mean that Mt. Sinai would have no chance against those teams. I would imagine that you never saw the team. There are many players who are committed to D 1 schools. FYI, The JV team was undefeated last year as well. That should tell you that there is some depth there as well. They are a very good program and can play with the best of them.

I have seen every team I mentioned play including Mt Sinai (last year) and give you they are close, but not ahead of those mentioned. They did very well in their division, but that is the problem with this and every poll out there, you try to compare teams from different divisions, states and regions. Lots of wiggle room, so now your down to opinion and politics.

You think because they have less kids in their school that somehow makes them worse? If I were betting, I would put them on par with Manhasset and St Anthony's and better than the rest. Even for a C school.

Outsiders perspective from someone not involved in any of the schools mentioned, Mt Sinai is top in their division, would put them in top 2 in class B , top 2 or three class A. I know you feel your so good you can play with anybody, but try to keep it real.

Manhasset is a B school too, so I assume you put Manhasset ahead of Mt Sinai, which is reasonable. So tell me which A teams are better than those two teams??? BTW I am keeping it real! AS you said they would be top 2 or 3 in class A, That means they are better than most of the teams (according to you). Opinions are subjective , but stating that a class B or C team couldn't possibly compete with class A teams is absolutely moronic. IMHO the best team I have seen is the 2011 Garden City team which is a class B team!

A's play B's, A's play C's, etc..Maybe Suffolk will get their act together.

They are seeded #1 in the combo B C division this year and beat the B champion last year during the season. If you think any team would beat Mt Sinai easily just shows you have no clue. Must be a Mt Sinai parent. You see this all the time in travel where the B team parents think they can beat the A team. Lets keep it to Suffolk county that is where you play. Specifically C div so maybe crown yourself queen of Suffolk C. Are you better than many teams in A and B in both counties? Yes and you get a run to states with it. Could you get through to states in the other divisions? I really do not think so. There are other talented second tier team on par with mt Sinai in those divisions who got knocked out but would also likely make a run to states if in the Suffolk C. You did well, feeling confident, take your mt Sinai rose colored glasses off and keep your run in perspective.

You have it backwards, travel along with camps and clinics and professional training develops them, the good ones anyway, then the school team reaps the benefits. Many teams have a sector of non club kids playing and a sector from the travel teams. You tell me which group is more developed?

That may be true for some schools with weaker youth programs, but if you have a strong program, most of the development will come in the town training. It is very true in Mt. Sinai's case. It is not a coincidence that Garden City, Manhasset ,Northport, Farmingdale, ward Melville have traditionally great teams. Yes many of the kids play travel and it is important to play at a higher level, against better competition, but the foundation and training starts and continues in the town. Take Shoreham's 5 state titles. Paul Anderson built a great youth program and they had a dynasty. When Pauls kids aged out the youth program wasn't the same and it is showing now, even though a lot of kids play travel.

Tough to get to the peak again...Only down from here!!!! The team is stacked for this year and will be descent next year then takes a complete nosedive. They have zero talent in 10 th grade which will start to hurt the program next year, will have possibly 1 starter from 10 th grade this year who will end up being their weakest player.

Mt Sinai is not the town I live in however I am sure most would agree- it is pretty rotten to speak so badly of players that are not your own. You should be ashamed. I personally know some of the 10th graders from Mt Sinai and they are talented young ladies. Have some class- these are someone's daughters and other players teamates.

Talking about any play poorly or negatively is bullying when done on this site. These players are your sons and daughters. We need to agree that pounding on the players is off limits.
Thank you.
