The coach is outstanding!! Do you even know how many awards she has… you couldn’t name them on your fingers. It’s a very young team and the coaches are working on building the program up. Just know we will come back as a team strong and better then ever. Go grizzlies!!

You have no clue what you are talking about. They love her and learn so much everyday. She is working with mostly all freshman and sophomores. Just because your buddy has a kid on the team who doesn't play doesn't mean "everyone can't stand her". Everyone on this team knew what we were up against this year and have remained positive. So do me a favor and keep your hearsay to yourself.

you have to ignore the trolls. they do not warrant a response. 80% of the stuff on here is not true, and that is why this forum is a cesspool.

Just an unhappy parent that a freshman is better than their kid.

Don't want a freshman playing over you? Be better than the freshman. Sometimes it's also about doing exactly what the coach wants and just making fewer unforced mistakes.

Coaches cannot have any contact with current IAAM players until you formally apply to that school.

7. Transfer Students (Adopted May 2008, amended May 2011*) – Definition of a Transfer Student: A transfer student is one who changes enrollment from one school to another after high school matriculation.

Academic Year Transfer: A student-athlete may not represent two schools in athletics in the same academic year regardless of the competitive level she has participated. Therefore, any student transferring during the academic year is not eligible to participate in interscholastic athletics, at any level, during that academic year if she has participated in athletics at any level at her previous school. (“Participated” refers to physical entry into a bona fide school-sanctioned athletic contest.)

*The only exceptions to this transfer policy are (a) if a student were to change their primary residence; a change in primary residence means a move of more than 30 miles from their present residence (would include Out-of-State Boarding student) or (b) if a student’s present school eliminates the athletic program in which she is participating.

Open Enrollment Period: An Open Enrollment Period will be offered for member and non-member student-athletes. From June 1 through September 1, student athletes transferring from any member or non-member school, may transfer to and participate in interscholastic athletics, at any level, without penalty.

To qualify under this guideline, all appropriate paperwork must be completed and the enrollment contract deposit must be paid on or before September 1. The IAAM reserves the right to request copies of any enrollment contract.
The student-athlete must physically be attending classes on the first day of fall classes or by September 1, whichever is later. If the opening of the member school is after September 1, the required paperwork and deposit must be complete on or before the September 1st date.

Any student transferring from member to member school must have satisfied all financial obligations at
the previous school before participating in any interscholastic athletics, games or practices.

8. Rosters – Member Schools must submit an Official IAAM Roster form for all varsity and junior varsity teams by the dates provided by the League. Any changes to the Official League Roster must be submitted in the form of an amended roster as soon as the change occurs. Member schools must identify the swing players on the Official IAAM Roster Form by the date provided by the league. Non-rostered players may not be added after the school’s final regular season contest. Extenuating circumstances after this date may be considered.

They have more (probably low 20's) but I thought I heard they are in the B Division this year so this will make them more competitive.

Yes, I saw part of their Dulaney game, they probably had 7-8 on sidelines, looked like most if not all played.

Since IAAM uses NCAA rules I assume there is a transfer portal. Be careful about NIL promises though, some are just that and don’t materialize.

and posting here is going to help the players how? as PP said, do better in practice and talk to the coaches. unless it is a top 20 program, being committed to D1 doesn't mean much at SPSG, MD, MV, AS when there will always be great underclassmen coming in.

but maybe OP was really a RPCS parent still bitter about last year and trying to knock the old coach.

All of the other garrison sports have a lot to offer. But that cant happen with both the athletic director and assistant are only focusing on lacrosse. The other girls from other sports aren’t even given an equal chance. GFS prides itself on powering girls, but how can they do that when the people who are supposed to be supporting them aren’t. Kids can’t stand her is right because how are kids even given a chance to like someone when they haven’t even come to a singular game let alone even practice or tryouts. It’s extremely clear to the parents and the girls that these people only care about lacrosse which isn’t even winning. Seems like a waste of tuition money if you ask me- unfortunately.

Completely agree. Why is gfs spending all this time and money on a sport that is doing nothing for the school.

Not a Spalding guy, but if you have a public school with maybe a top 5 player in grad year, on home field where you don’t use a shot clock, you can take a run at any IAAM team.

Public schools play without shot clock and run a stall for a notIntelligent amount of time.

SP is a great program and as another poster mentioned has some really good players on the team. That and no shot clock makes them even more dangerous.

Shot clock wasn’t a factor. Both teams took their time on offense, and no stalling was observed.

Saints offense struggled and the defense got beat in crucial situations.

One school I would love to see play top private schools is Manchester Valley. Watched them today against Severna park. They play fast! Shot clock wouldn’t matter. 15-5 over SP was impressive.

STM had swing players in. They treated it as an exhibition as it was.

All you say is true except the non shot clock is a factor. Any possesion over 90 seconds woulda been difffererent.

Did SP go into stall? No, but possesions were longer.

All AOB schools that are in the IAAM, a video was posted recently on the STM girls lacrosse bench mob. Girls lacrosse head coach TD and his team are in the girls locker room, lights are dim, the HC and team are celebrating inappropriately. A complaint was made to the AOB about the behavior of the HC. The AOB and STM AD have now swept this under the table and will not look into the matter. FYl to all teams under the AOB, they are picking and choosing how complaints are handled. This behavior is a fireable offense.

Did SP play a game earlier that day? Did both teams play 2 games yesterday? Not sure if it would have been the reason for the loss but could have played into the 10pt spread.
