What’s going on with McD? Are there injuries or something? Yes. They are sitting people out in FL to keep them healthy for conference games. Those drooling over MIAA teams losing in Florida really have no clue. Hilarious! Poor little MIAA just can’t handle taking a beating, can it? First, PA rolls in and smacks you around. Then you all regroup, flee south, and get pummeled by the Florida teams—double ouch! The horror of it all! And what do we hear? The same tired excuses: “We don’t care,” “We have injuries,” “It’s all about the conference,” “It’s only spring break.” Yeah, sure. Keep telling yourselves that. It’s adorable how you clutch your pearls and whimper about meaningless spring games—right up until the moment your teams get trounced. Then, suddenly, injuries and conference priorities come pouring out. Gotta protect those star players so they can trot back home and lose some more—because, let’s face it, the MIAA hasn’t exactly been lighting it up lately. You sit there acting like Baby WaWa, crying and complaining instead of admitting you got beat again. MIAA parents in chorus “I can so sit here while crying and complaining. Sound familiar? Here’s a thought: how about you toughen up, own the losses, and move on like grown-ups? At least then the rest of us wouldn’t have to endure the endless chorus of excuses. But hey, if you’d rather keep living in denial, by all means carry on, MIAA parents. We’ll just be over here, watching you pile on the next excuse while you pretend it doesn’t matter. Sorry folks, MIAA is not that elite anymore. Does it have some well trained players and good teams, absolutely, just dont go playing other good teams and use excuses as you get beat. Just a little take from the start of this season. BL is a dumpster fire of a program. Which is just despicable given the fact that they recruit 20-year-olds who just graduated 8th grade. I mean drivers ed in middle school is absurd. RDR Spalding is horrible. #HOPPERBLOWS

Calvert Hall is undisputed number 1 in the country ,, I would say the Dons are after this weekend, Go Dons !! How'd you come up with that genius take? Don’t pay attention to Bruce. If we ignore him, maybe he will just go away.

First off the dons are the best in the MIAA without a doubt. CH is fraudulent, also 98% sure that school is a money laundering scheme. Also, that school is a scam when it comes to lacrosse. Give more money to BK get more play time simple as that. Next off is Mcdonough. I mean they are pretty much a dumpster fire this year with MMs obvious Jameson binge. And after his prized possession goes to UVA I worry his sideline drinking obsession will only get worse. Oh boy where do I even start with Spalding. I could go many routes here with the numerous incidents they've had in the bathroom ranging from childbirth (Hopper) or parents starting their own version of the cartel in the bathrooms. Really don't see anything good out of them other than increased birthrate (*cough *cough hopper). I'll give him this though, kid wheels. Obviously, the rest of the MIAA is a joke. Loyola has the wall in goal Cookie monster 2.0 slinging sidearms and the new version of the Mexican border over at defense. They have fraud checked every supposed "powerhouse" (Chaminade) and will do so the rest of the season. I'll say it once Birdman has the best chirps in the MIAA and the sorry Spalding parents can't hang. #keepitchirpingBirdMan.

Well, it's quite obvious that the dons are undisputed number 1. Spalding is fraudulent and BK over at the hall is clearly falling into a deep spiral choosing between his son and whiskey. One issue I have at Loyola is the Goalie unit. Love watching the merrimack guy block shots like a force field but I'd love to see 32 eat some shots. Kids always on the sideline itching to stand in the crease. It's like MM stare at his liquor cabinet on a Monday night. Rant aside I'm juiced to see the dons take the borderline public school (MSJ) off their little pedastool. Also, would love to say Spalding is better at making babies in the bathroom then they are at winning in the MIAA. #SaygoodbyetoNILmoneyRobbyHopperChildSupportInbound What a miserable person you must be offline. I am sad for you.

Color me flabbergasted. Shouldn't have beaten Malvern. BK only cares about the numbers and the stats which is ironic because the CH players are all dense as a brick, I'd be shocked if they even knew what stats meant. You'd have better academics if you recruited a bunch of gorillas and gave them a lacrosse stick. I can guarantee that CH is almost as dense as BL which is hard to beat.

On a more positive note....How bout those Patriots! This Saturday they represented the MIAA by absolutely dismantling St. Andrews at THE US LACROSSE STADIUM! Defense was smothering and the Offence exploded scoring 17 goals. Like everyone else we have had some injuries and illness but won't use those as excuses two years in a row heading into conference play. All smiles here in Patriot land.

@ChillLaxin show of a program and has no one and the kids are straight bricks. Spalding, where do I begin, whole team might be chipping in on robbys child care, kid cant keep it in his pants. Dons roll this year, chip back to chestnut.

Give me the Dons RDR @ChillLaxin. Side note I hear one more chirp on Cookie monster Sr. or BP some unlucky spalding parent is gonna catch these hands. Spalding is so obsessed with the two best dads in the MIAA it is hilarious. Zip BPs pants up when youre done.

JC is an absolute embarrassment to the MIAA. They have a borderline frosh team playing varsity and the birds there have enough babies to start a whole new civilization. JC also has no sty, they look like a bunch of greaseballs out on the field. Not to mention JC sideline always smells like American Spirits which is a classic move from the cig moms over in belair. A true MIAA team rips Marbs and the occasional black and mild. Or if it's the dons those guys rip fat cuban stogies while playing. Who needs a mouthgard when you got a cuban in-between the lips. #RobbyBlows

A tale of MIAA
Calvert Hall’s lacrosse team was supposed to assume the role of juggernaut of the MIAA, dominating every opponent with their fast-paced, aggressive play. But just days before their highly anticipated championship showdown against Loyola, rumors began to circulate about the team’s sudden surge in performance. The whispers started with a few parents and coaches noticing an alarming change in the players’ energy levels and focus. It wasn’t long before the truth came crashing down.
A shocking investigation revealed that some of Calvert Hall’s star players such as #2, #9 and #46 had been using cocaine to maintain their edge on the field. A former player, who had been kicked off two years earlier, was found to be the source, supplying players with the drug in exchange for money under the table. The news hit the lacrosse community like a bombshell, as the MIAA quickly launched an investigation into the matter. Coach BK was placed on leave, and the team was disqualified from the championship game just days before the final whistle.
With Calvert Hall out of the picture, Loyola stepped into the void and claimed the MIAA championship in a dominant performance. The victory was bittersweet, though, as the program knew their rival’s success had been marred by scandal. Loyola’s players and fans celebrated the win, but many were left questioning the integrity of the game, knowing that Calvert Hall’s cheating had overshadowed the entire season. The rivalry, once defined by fierce competition, was now stained by the dark shadow of drugs, leaving both schools to face a new reality where the championship win felt less like a victory and more like a relief.
*This is a fake and fictional story

Like Loyola doesn’t have a drug problem as well. That’s BS. The kids talk my friend. Loyola is just as bad as the other schools. Drugs and the pressures these boys face transcend the schools, the sports and any one team. You shouldn’t relish in something like that as it shows how shallow you are.

WOW WHAT a start to MIAA PLAY! 1. LB handle a better than usual MSJ squad 13-8. Contrary to many I believe the LB offense is one of the top offenses in the league. Lot of weapons coming out of the box and some good finishers down low. Excited to see how the dons fair this season.
2. MCD win an OT thriller over Sp. It almost felt like Sp was trying to lose that game. I mean two failed clears in OT against Mcd are we serious? Kudos to both goalies for a great game. Per usual Mcd looks solid other than some HUGE wholes on the defense end, but other than that they will be contenders
3. SPALDING LOSS!!!! This was the shock of the day to me. Guess spalding coudln't handle the zone. I expect to see spalding bounce back from this horrendous loss. Spalding has all the pieces the question is can they put it together?
The rest, who cares!

You can't keep cutting both sides of this argument. "The legacy is fake because....it's 100% legacy. High five!" Then there's the fact that zero data supports your whiny opinion. There's 250+ athletic conferences in this country. In the top 25 for lacrosse, 13 are recognized. MIAA holds 6 spots. NESCAC holds 4. 3 others hold 2 each. The other 240+ conferences hold either 1 or 0 spots in the top 25. Based on grownup math, the MIAA is pretty special again this year, as it is many (not all) years. Again, you want the estrogen BLOCKER, not the estrogen pills.

Great synopsis. Totally agree.

The rest, who cares! Spalding needs to play like a TEAM. #4,14,10, and 34 play like it’s them vs the team. Their dads want the Stats and all the hype. #4 dad in the stands kicking fences when his kid makes a mistake, then starts coaching his son. #14 dad same thing coaching his son and encouraging selfish play. RH needs to stay on defense but the coaches are scared of him and his dad so he can do whatever he wants. Spalding will slowly move to the bottom of the MIAA list.

Those drooling over MIAA teams losing in Florida really have no clue. Just another excuse the same as " these dont mean much as we are preparing for the MIAA grind". Sorry folks, MIAA is not that elite anymore. Does it have some well trained players and good teams, absolutely, just dont go playing other good teams and use excuses as you get beat. Not a good look . You really have no clue. Just like college, really good players with minor injuries are sat during nonconference games to save them for conference games because in the end, that’s all that matters, conference games, not little spring break games in Florida that clearly get Florida dads thinking they the king. Hilarious! Poor little MIAA just can’t handle taking a beating, can it? First, PA rolls in and smacks you around. Then you all regroup, flee south, and get pummeled by the Florida teams, double ouch! But hey, if you’d rather keep living in denial, by all means carry on, MIAA parents. We’ll just be over here, watching you pile on the next excuse while you pretend it doesn’t matter. Bro stop taking your wife's menopause medication, it's a bad look. 6 MIAA teams in the top 25 this week in IL; USL rankings come out tomorrow, should show 5-6 in top 25. Hilarious, Every year the same 6 teams are in the top 25. Nothing new, just that the MIAA is not the same as it used to be. Mediocre players playing in a decent mediocre league like many others. Oh wow, SIX whole MIAA teams in the Top 25? Stop the presses! Tell me, do they hand out bonus points for historical relevance now, or is the ranking committee just grading on a nostalgia curve? Because last I checked, actually winning games used to matter—but hey, if you’d rather flex math instead of results, by all means, keep pretending your conference isn’t slowly becoming the lacrosse version of that aging gym bro still bragging about his high school stats. And let’s be real—if the MIAA were half as elite as you claim, you wouldn’t need a disclaimer for every loss. ‘We sat our starters!’ ‘It’s just spring break!’ ‘The refs, the weather, the alignment of Jupiter—’ Just say you got outplayed and move on. But no, it’s always ‘Well, actually…’ like a kid explaining why his science fair project failed. The funniest part? The rest of the country isn’t even thinking about the MIAA. They’re too busy winning while you’re up here doing mental gymnastics to spin losses into some kind of 4D chess strategy. Keep telling yourself these games ‘don’t matter’—right up until you do win one, and suddenly it’s proof of dominance. The cognitive dissonance is stunning. Bottom line? Excuses are like Meanywholes — everyone’s got one, and yours are starting to @ChillLaxin. But sure, keep polishing those participation rankings. The rest of us will be over here, watching actual contenders play without an instruction manual of caveats

Lolzing @ the FL dads coming here to puff their chest because they beat our backups and freshmen in a spring break tune-up scrimmage.
You know why?
Because there is not one good FL conference. And no one cares about FL lax.
Now that miaa teams are into league play, we will see where the miaa teams really stand as they start game planning and trying for real.

O Dons have worst backup goalie in the league!! Isn't the backup going to MD? Curious why is the back up not the starter. Politics as usual at LB. Should be starter easily. Ray Charles can see that. Ray better get new sunglasses. Current goalie has been rock solid. Friends of family playing time left a couple years ago with prior coaching staff. Current goalie has been solid but politics are definitely not gone at Loyola From a distance not sure what those would be. Team playing very well and lots of contributors on both ends. Well coached and a new culture.
