Let’s talk youth township! CBAA owns almost every age group, although they do it w holdbacks on almost every team. Best of all? The parents are insufferable

SCH is good also GA and PC are not, but just to be clear the worst interac school could beat the socks off most public schools. All of them produce multiple D1 athletes every year regardless of record GA and Penn Charter would definitely be in the lower tier of the Central League. No way PC would be top of central league may not win it but would be a threat every year. GA has gone down but probably will be back up soon to at least be competitive.

Has anyone actually seen GA play? God bless those kids last year. I’ve never seen a hs team have to run 4 corners offense as the main set just to make the game go quicker. For real, those guys deserve credit and respect for showing up knowing what they were going against. They were good kids. Cut them some slack.
PC does better but with only a handful of kids that even play club, they also have tough sledding. I don’t hear any chest pounding g from GA or PC so let’s keep it cordial

Anyone hearing about High school commitments? I heard MP and EA pulled some good talent but haven’t heard about much else.
Also I saw the post on Township. Who’s winning A, B, and C this year? CBAA?

Bro, these club lax rankings are a joke. Anyone who actually thinks they matter is just tryna boost their kid’s Instagram clout instead of worrying about real development. PA teams don’t get enough love just ‘cause they don’t play in every single tournament like these other teams do.
High school rankings? garbage. Just get rid of ‘em.
29s – Futures are #1 and it ain’t even close. 30s – Dukes and Cyclones should be 1-2, no question. Dawgs are easily top 10. 31s – Dukes are garbage, so overrated, only ranked high ‘cause of the 30s and 32s. HHH isn’t better but should be right next to ‘em. 32s – Dukes should be #1, no debate.
Simple as that. Rankings are all politics anyway.

CBAA will do well. If I was going to pick a Rec program that would dominate IF they had normal participation, it would be West Chester as it is just massive. Too many kids are sticking to club only these days. I heard that boys lacrosse may become an official sport in CYO.

Can we please stop with the Dukes dad posts and focus on real lacrosse with kids that will actually play in college. How is Malvern Prep #1 in the country?

No dog in this fight but they have an incredible offense. People think their defense may fall off because of how good they were last year but they have some incredible players that were buried in the depth chart the past couple of years. I like Haverford but they lost some key players in the midfield and attack after last year. They have a very good defense. Do I think Malvern is the best in the country....no....but they are easily top5. Radnor looks good in the PIAA, same with Springfield. Marple is the team to beat in AA. Central League is VERY strong. Pencrest is young but talented. Rustin has a good chance at the Chesmont this year. DWest will improve. Shanahan should be a contender but has a younger team. Spring Ford looks to be the team to beat in the PAC. OJR may surprise some people. St. Joe's will give LaSalle a run for its money this year in the PCL. Sallies is in a class of its own in Delaware.

Anyone know what’s going on with the “Philly Spring League”? Looks like all of the teams that used to play in the NXT Spring League are in it. Wondering what happened to the NXT one.

Malvern could definitely be number 1. Haverford and Malvern could arguably be the best team in country this year and last few years. If you look at their wins last year they beat everyone besides Lawrenceville but Lville is down this year. Every year lately Haverford Malvern games have been great. Haverford plays cleaner lacrosse in my opinion and their top 12 or so seem to play better together but Malvern is deeper. Should be great games again this year between them. If you watch college lacrosse the Philly kids have been doing great for years which shows how strong this area is in lacrosse. This should be Springfield year in PIAA or possibly LaSalle. Radnor is down.

Malvern has 22 players currently committed to play D1 in the 25s and 26 at this point. Their current attack is Duke, Duke, Umass Lowell. Midfield- Georgetown, Harvard, Saint Bonnies, Gettysburg, Delaware, Cornell, Merrimack Defense- Cornell, Air Force, Villanova, Notre Dame, Richmond, Penn State Specialist: FOGO- Penn, Drexel LSM- Holy Cross SSDM- Duke and Lehigh Goalie- Rutgers, Yale
That line up would smoke 95% of the country outside of Lville, Haverford, Brunswick, and The top MD team. Team is loaded with Team 10, HHH, brotherly love , freedom, mesa, true roughriders talent.

Looks good on paper, too bad games aren't won on paper. Luchovich will start at attack for Malvern, he's only a 27so he's uncommitted but one of the best attackman in the 27 class. He earned starting minutes for Malvern as a freshman. Malvern offense has all the tools to execute at a high level. They graduated all of their starting close defenseman from last year so it is safe to say this year's team will go as far as their defense will let them.

They always seem to have more talent than anyone but lost to Haverford in Interac last 2 seasons. Although Haverford has a lot of good players as well.

Why do people care about the interac when they only have 2 teams that run the table every year. The rest of the league is so far behind, what is the point?
Haverford and Malvern don’t even compete in their end of year tourney’s , just skip to the national event….

Haverford and Malvern don’t even compete in their end of year tourney’s , just skip to the national event…. Actuallly SCH and EA both played close games aganst both MP and Haverford last year. They lack depth as they are co-ed schools cpmpared to the other schools. But both SCH and EA would be a top public school and would be a top contender for a state championship. So even though they may not be as good as MP or Haverford they are still top programs in the state.

SCH and EP are not good. I watched SCH scrimmage in fall, yikes! As for playing close games against MP and the Fords? They’re really playing against the kids that don’t usually get a ton of run otherwise. Basically playing backups, that happen to be really really good. Fact - valley between top two and rest of field is miles and miles

The HHH chest pounding has been a little light recently. How many HHH 26’s are committed?
By this point last year the HHH 25’s had most of the roster committed.

How many of the HHH 26's are holdbacks/reclasses? A significant portion of the HHH 25 team was held back. That may explain the difference.

HHH isn’t allowed to have down years? MP and LS roster is filled with HHH players and they are both top 20 teams in the country.

By this point last year the HHH 25’s had most of the roster committed. HHH 2025 and HHH 2026 are not comparable at all. HHH 2026 has 2 high end recruits, one committed to Duke and one committed to Notre Dame, both arguable the best players in the class at their positions, but HHH 2025 had double digit high end recruits. Why does it matter?

Being easy to dislike doesn’t mean they aren’t actually good. They should easily beat schools like Hill and La Salle. Their only losses may only be to Haverford and MP. Don’t confuse your disgust of them as not good.

Where are all the Duke’s Elite recruits? All this talk about their dominance but it seems kids leave at HS level. I can’t think of 1 high level player they have in HS…can’t be good for younger kids looking to play in college

SCH and EP will have better years this year than they did last year as they were both young teams last year, but their young talent is a year older and will show it this year.

Amen, it’s all about the depth. The co-ed Inter-AC schools have to maintain a balance of male and female. We all know MP is head and shoulders above when it comes to D1 recruits. Haverford probably has 1/2 as many and EA just a few behind them. SCH has more talent than their recruiting numbers show with the best goalie in the country who is a ‘27. To say EA and SCH are terrible is very shortsighted. They’d compete and win more than they lose against the “rest” (LaSalle, Sallie, Springfield, Radnor, Hill and Marple).

Pretty sure that student goalie at SCH is a double hold back. There was a log jam at that position, so they just created some mo space for the “‘27” goalie. This kid and his family did it right. Turned some athletic ability into a very affordable elite private school education.
SCH is recruiting well these days. Would dominate any public school in PA.
