Been a quite offseason. Who were the big winners? What tournaments are teams in for the fall? Any predictions for Elite teams for HOCO spring?

FCA is not elite level of ready. They don’t have the depth to play NL or ML. Waste of time and energy

Don't worry, your son will put in the work in HS and achieve his dreams.

He won't have to live vicariously through his son when he grows up and has kids of his own.

Lacrosse is full of D1 players that were pushed to get to a high level . This sport doesnt get that many real elite athletes.
It is made up of many decent athletes who are all similar in ok ability, That is way holding back works so well in Lacrosse and not as well in Football and BB. D1 lacrosse isnt for every parent or their son. Just the ones that want it and are willing to push their son .

Team91 will take you.. if you don’t currently play for a club, make sure you tell them you do. They will only take you if they know they are poaching you from another club.

Team 91 will take any kid who has a parent who believes they have an elite player but can’t make any other real elite team. Pay to play at its finest

Depends on which bitter, disenfranchised parents you talk to and how they define elite. For the 2031s probably only Next Level and Mad Lax.
In reality, all of the teams in the Elite division have some quite talented young players. But, if you acknowledge talent elsewhere vs. painting with a broad brush and dumping on everyone but the teams you favor…well where is the internet fun in that?

A team is only really as good as its bottom half. Safe to say team 91 bottom half was filled with AA and A players as opposed to the rest of the hoco elite teams which bottom half is far more skilled with players who would be good players in AAA for example

Crabs lost to both the “elite teams “ by a goal last year.

Last year’s team split up thanks to a dad who wasn’t getting his way. Ruined a great team.

Not sure if I missed something but they lost to one of those “elite teams” by 10 in the regular season. Just being accurate

Think they lost to one of those “elite” teams by 10 in the HOCO season. Just saying.

Clippers will not be in the Elite 2031 division for Hoco. If they are in AAA they will still struggle.

HOCO Elite Division is still a 4 team race, NL, ML, Crabs, and Hawks. The other 4 will likely consist of Predator, Clippers, FCA, VLC or True Nova.

Predators finished 5th last year, avg 10 goal loss to top 4. Improved this fall, lost by 3 to ML, ranked # 40 by US Club Lax
Clippers finished 6th last year, avg 10.75 goal loss to top 4. Played very challenging fall schedule, going 2-4 at NAL and ALL. Also beat Predators by 1, ranked # 63
Team 91 Md finished 7th last year, avg 16.5 goal loss to top 4. New additions to roster and coaching staff showed improvements in fall, beating NL Red by one. ranked # 70
VLC, went winless in Hoco elite, avg 8 goal loss to top 4, had a strong fall going 8-0, ranked # 46

FCA Blue went undefeated during regular season Hoco AAA, lost in finals to Madlax DMV. Played competitively this fall, ranked # 28
True Nova Black went 5-1-1 in Hoco AA, winning championship, great fall going 10-1, ranked # 48
ML DMV won AAA, had another strong fall, and ranked # 34, if league rules allow, they clearly deserve a chance to compete in elite division

As this age group moves into the middle school range, I would expect the top 4 to expand to a top 6. Growth spurts and player development can make drastic changes in short time spans in the remaining 3 HOCO years

Clippers will not be in the Elite 2031 division for Hoco. If they are in AAA they will still struggle.

Here is the AAA division (This came directly from a coach that was informed):
True Black
Legends
Madlax DMV
NL Red
FCA White
Prostart
VLC
Baltimore Swarm

That means Clippers will be staying in Elite bracket. My guess for Elite:
NL
Madlax
Crabs
Hawks
Predators
Team 91
FCA Blue
Clippers

Any teams have a problem with playing for a national team? Only Madlax has a semi-close national team (Supreme Nationals).

Hawks and Ctabs try to control players and where they can play? Who wants that? They jealous of other teams?
