Seems like a pretty good weekend

Too bad those teams that beat them won’t be in the ws

And respect the fact that they are actually teams. Not a bunch of holdbacks pieced together for all over

91 lost in OT
Express has a few very good wins and lost to 2 good teams

So you’re saying that those teams just wanted to avoid the hassle of the World Series? But the teams that were there this weekend would qualify as per the rules? Lol

We played Leading Edge a couple of times this year. We could see a lot of the kids were wearing world series shirts from last year. I could only imagine who they brought down this past weekend and will for NAL. But cheaters gonna cheat.

Well considering the coach told me that they have several when I was standing with him at NLF last year, I find this to be…. False.

The bottom line is that Venom was expected to win last weekend and they didn't. They're very good but very beatable

Ridiculously wrong in calling them out when they can hang with teams that are just flat out older.
Do me a favor and come back here in early July after the WS

Then Venom shouldn’t enter any tournaments at all other than the WS championships or whatever it’s called.

It’s beyond tiresome whenever your team loses to hear the same refrain.

Seriously either show up and play like everyone else or just stop coming. Trust me you won’t be missed.

The stupidity*** is real for this one

So basically stop complaining that we need older kids to beat you. Got it.

Rhinos 28’s may be graduating in ‘28 but they are not 12/13yr olds

The USCL rankings have become a joke. They should have separate rankings for these national teams. Team Eighteen is ranked #3 and has played 2 games in 2023 and lost both of them. There are numerous examples of this. The teams that play often and play tough competition get shafted.

Again - your team literally CRIES more than any other team in the country.

It’s old and tired. Entitled whiny LI crybabies.

Seriously just stop coming to tournaments then.

And no my kid is not a hold back but plays on a team with a few. It’s not fair. Shouldn’t happen. But it is what it is.

Stop the victimized drivel.

When were they not a joke?

There is a post on their webpage defending why a 1 win team is in the top ten for 2029.

It’s nonsense.

(Except when 91 is #1 of course then they are not problematic at all). /s

Rankings are the same algorithm as the NCAA uses. Strength of schedule matters. I have no idea who team 18 is but they lost by 1 and 3 to the #4 and 7 teams in the country respectively so those losses are not enough to move the needle that much based on their 6-2 record prior to those two losses. Not sure why people are whining about the math. If Team 18 is bad it will all even out by the end of the season.

We played Express North yesterday at NAL. They are by far the biggest team we have seen at 2028 level, and now one of the best. Where did they get all these kids? Are they holdbacks? We know there are a lot of those in the private schools of CT and Westchester. Either way— totally different team this summer. Lot of odd ball helmets too, so clearly some new talent.

Please don’t mention express and 91 in the same post. Express has won nothing. Venom wins everything. It’s not even a rivalry. 91 is undefeated vs Chucks. It’s kind of embarrassing even with the 40 kids on Chuck’s sideline.

Mad Dog National had a kid fly in from Vegas and a kid drove in from Pitt…classic! Strong team but saw them lose to Duke’s and Annapolis. Gonna be a long ride home

S2S is on the right path. Team is better than it was last year at this point. Had a tough schedule and a few injuries. Today had some kids with conflicts and only 2-3 subs. The kids played hard till the end. No one likes losing but as far as “what happened” that is it. Team on right path. Hopefully that is what you were looking for and not “stirring things up”

Yikes! 2-3 subs “conflicts” sounds like ever since they got rid of the coach nothing but problems with how that team is managed.

Team 18 is on pace to play 4 games in 2023 and go 0-4. As long as it’s against good teams they’ll stay as the #3 team in the country. What a joke.
