When does the next wave of All Americans come out? Very few from LI have been picked so far Who has been picked already? What do you mean by next wave?

All-America senior game, previously Under Armour. 2 from Nassau and two from Suffolk so far. Normally the 44 top recruits from across the country in wave order

Please don’t tell me the St Ants people think that win against Manhasset was a good win yesterday? Ugly win. What were the Saints coaches even thinking? They almost lost that game for their team. They got very lucky, Due to some very bad calls! Otherwise, Manhasset would have totally won that game.
Who are the Saints coaches even playing on that team? The Underclassman? Why? When they have all those D1 players just sitting their bench this season! We know the LI players and seeing who was playing and who was sitting in that game last night, made absolutely no sense to us.
We were wondering why the Saints team has been struggling this year against the better competition ? Now, it was made very clear at last nights game. The coaches seem to be making some very questionable playing decisions? How? Why? with all that D1 talent just sitting and rotting on their bench. The Stench is becoming visible, as we did not see very many happy faces on that saints bench last night. Not very many happy parents in the stands either. They Visibly looked unhappy.
What’s happening over there? Did the coaching or leadership change there? Do they actually know the LI girls as players? Someone seems very confused over there? Is there a new coach? Maybe you should have kept your daughter at her home HS. She probably wouldn’t have come off the field. Happened to a couple girls I know. They left SA and we’re much happier. The grass isn’t always greener! My daughters HS team plays against them. It was an Observation from knowing a lot of the girls on that team. My daughter plays and is She is happy on her public HS team. We Just feel bad for some of the girls we know to be very good players that she plays club with, who are on that Saints team. They are sitting the bench, and they look miserable. They are some of the better players on the club she plays with. It must be so boring playing on SA girls. Most of the games are blow outs. The championship game is versing Sacred Heart who they already played during the regular season TWICE!!! 14-5, 17-9. Not to mention 40 girls on the roster. What a waste of time. Friars almost lost to Sacred Heart last night! They were trading goal for goal. At one point in game ,SHA was up. Friars only ended up winning by one goal. Not a great showing from the lady friars, It was a lucky win. Expected way more from that Friars team! SHA was outplaying them and out coaching them. Friars got VERY lucky that there was no shot clock and lucky for all the 8 meter calls. Friars definitely seem to struggle with their offensive plays. There was so much talent sitting on the Friars bench, seemingly being overlooked? Some of the players on the field looked like they could be played and coached better too? The Lady Friars seemed to have struggled all year. They have the talent , so is it the coaching ? Did it change this year ? Is it time for a change? An Off year? Thinking many on that team very disappointed with the season and how it all played out? (Plaque or no plaque) Probably glad their season is over? Not many happy faces on that side of the stands last night! Didn’t look like happy “winners”?

The talent was overrated if you are the most talented team you don’t beat a public school like Manhassett by 2 goals and lose to Wantagh. The team wasn’t as talented as in years past and it showed. You can blame coaching however the players didn’t perform.

Some players are good, especially at hogging the ball and forcing shots. The best players on LI are not at St.A. Why would anyone waste their money like that?

You can have some of the best musicians in an orchestra, if the conductor doesn’t know how to conduct those musicians, you will not get very good music! There is a reason orchestras have conductors and teams have coaches. You need to be able to bring it all together. Otherwise, it’s just noise. There was a lot of just noise at St. As this year. That team had just as much talent ,if not more to work with as the years past (look at roster). The 40+ roster probably hurt them? It appeared towards the end, it still looked like they were still trying to figure out who and where to play the players? I think half on that team barely saw any significant playing time? Sad. It Just didn’t seem to gel for them this year. Their “stars” were not put in their best light to shine.

The St. As Coaching staff changed as far as Assistants goes. Last years assistant moved to JV to coach and had a great season this year. Losing her from varsity coaching staff was probably a big loss for them. Maybe bigger than they could have anticipated?
Appears as though their past years patterns of keeping underclassman at the JV level to develop, changed as well? In the Past years they seemed to be very selective with bringing underclassman up (maybe 2 or 3). This year they brought up, I think 5 or 6? It seemed unnecessary with the talent they had. Maybe It created way too big of a roster to manage?

Sure, Thursday game would have been nice for the losing teams so they can head to the Hamptons sooner. Doesn’t change anything for the winning teams since they will have practice over the weekend and probably on Memorial Day. People just like to complain.

Why does Nassau only have one competitive lacrosse bracket? So much harder to win in Suffolk. Way to many brackets in general Suffolk C is the only competitive bracket. Hahaha lol, ur funny

girls lacrosse might be the biggest joke of a sport. -
built for the dad with the sun visor on with shorts no matter the weather with- sunglasses on even during the cloudy day's - drinking from red solo cup @ 8am - chest bumping his old frat bros who all played HS lax
HS all American - joke - it's a northeast dominated sport with spattering's around the country ( maryland) and few others
getting recruited bigger joke - you can never see the field and a school will throw some $ at you because you're from long island
put down the cool aid in the solo cups -- its not D1 football.

When do the coaches vote on the awards for the season? It seems like the boys already know who won the awards. It hasn’t been officially announced but some of the teams that got knocked out of the playoffs are unofficially contacting players.

How does Class A look overall in NYS? We are in Section V and don't hear much outside of it.

Best teams on LI reside in Class C......Northport and Smithtown East will play for the Section XI championship next week. Both teams have a couple of excellent players
