Rebels did leave LI and played against NXT and some Philly teams in the summer. Get your research right. They were in Allentown and at NXT Cup.

Their 31 team also played in A bracket instead of AA. Our kids lost in the AA bracket, but at least we know we played the toughest competition.... and our boys motivated to work instead of celebrating a fluff medal. I didn't head anything about the 30 team but I'm assuming they weren't ready to enter anything yet. Hopefully soon

Pretty decent 4-way event this past weekend with Igloo Black Ice, Express CoachS, Jesters & Shore2Shore. Black Ice had tight games with Express & Jesters. It looked like S2S was out matched as they were beaten handily by Jesters & Express. The Jesters team was very physical. Was surprised to see them hang with Black Ice.

my sons S2S team played In a “ jesters Jamboree “ same day
S2S, express, igloo black ice and Jesters
all good matchups , all of the
teams seemed pretty equally talented
fun day
i’m guessing that’s all the games till the spring
it will be
interesting to see who improves in the spring

Take a crack at this top 2030 teams list. Think a number of teams that are very good were left off:
2030 TOP TEAMS (no National teams just clubs)
1. Orange Crush - NY (beat Team 91, 2Way, Igloo, BBL etc in the summer)
2. Team 91 - NY (beat a lot of the Long Island teams and some quality national wins)
3. Legacy - NY (lost to Igloo at NAL this fall, but has racked up top wins all summer/fall long)
4. 2Way- CT (won a loaded Hershey tourney against Bethesda 2x, Igloo, Dukes, Madlax and lost to OC in a close championship)
5. Bethesda - MD (dominated HOCO elite, won Millon against great comp)
6. Igloo Black Ice - NY (up and down with great wins against Legacy and 2Way but losses to Duke's and others)
7. Rebels - NY (beat a lot of these top teams over the summer and fall, could be higher)
8. BBL Black - NJ (quality wins against LI teams and OC puts them solid in the top 10 - struggled a bit this fall)
9. Madlax Cap - MD (made the playoffs at Hershey after a big win vs Igloo, top 3 team in HOCO, good fall against local comp)
10. Annapolis Hawks - MD (good fall against local comp, beat Dukes in fall but still couldn't get over Bethesda hump, should be top 3 in HOCO)
11. Dukes Elite - PA (Lost to BBL by 1 this fall, beat a lot of top teams last year like OC and Igloo and Sweetlax and Hawks in summer)
12. BBL Shore - NJ (since being renamed from Team United has not played in many top tourneys, but has solid wins over the summer)
13. SweetLax Upstate - NY (battled with a lot of good comp over summer and fall)
14. Crabs- MD (look better this fall but can't put them in top 10 till we see how they do in HOCO elite AAA bracket since they were down last year in AA)
15. LI Express - NY (wild card team and this spot could of went to Next Level. Up and down in the summer and fall)

Yes, they won but most teams were National, not local club.
They won some close games, congrats to them!
Best teams I watched in that age group were Legacy, Cherries, Premier National then Madlax. I saw MadLax made the ‘chip but also watched Premier National crush them, think they were up 8-2 in 4th.
Lastly, legacy had dope uniforms, looked like the Orlando Magic

the other 2 were horrible
it’s fool they paid money we played Fechtman team in the fall they had 2 teams.both were real bad . but they did have 3 teams total in 30s

heard rebels lost some main kids LI Express COACH S. Will promise you the moon and stars and deliver NOTHING, only cares about his kids employment. Ask his 2024 parents...one of them lives down the street. The least amount of practices, the most amount of kids, the least amount of recruiting help.

Time for the Long Island teams to show up and represent. The NAL 2023 Summer Youth Invitational is this weekend in Delaware. Looks like Express, S2S, Legacy and Igloo are playing. They will have some good competition in True, Sweetlax, Madlax, Crabs, BBL, Cherries and Hawks. This weekend will say a lot about where Long Island stands for the 2030s supremacy.

Igloo won an easy pool and lost to BBL in playoffs; wasn’t one of the top 4 teams
Legacy battled but lost True IL then Duke’s Elite.
S2S was just brutal.
Great event though, NAL had battles across all age brackets

Time for the Long Island teams to show up and represent. The NAL 2023 Summer Youth Invitational is this weekend in Delaware. Looks like Express, S2S, Legacy and Igloo are playing. They will have some good competition in True, Sweetlax, Madlax, Crabs, BBL, Cherries and Hawks. This weekend will say a lot about where Long Island stands for the 2030s supremacy. Little Bethesda Lacrosse Club (all the kids are from within a mile or two of one another) is the beheamoth in 2030. No national players, no kids flying in, just a town rec club that has stuck together and is the best team in the country at the moment.

Rebels leave to Legacy and expres
Now Igloo kids leave and go to S2S
Always looks good adding kids mid season
Shame on the parents and the organizations.
Very bad look S2s added kids it’s not good. club is just in it for the $$$$ how do you stay on that team ??? can’t add kids mid season express did the same as well as legacy what are you teaching your kid by leaving ???

Do you have any idea what you are talking about? Igloo had a very tough bracket. The other Long Island teams against common opponents tells the story:
Igloo beat the Annapolis Hawks 8-4, S2S lost to Hawks 6-1
Igloo beat True IL 9-2. True IL won their bracket by beating Legacy 6-5 and equalling Shore-2-Shore 7-7.

I was there. You can only play the schedule you were given. If igloo is overrated (not), who is underrated that apparently lost at the NAL that i assume your son is on. The facts are igloo has only lost to 2 teams this year, 91 Cyclones (by 1 goal) and BBL Black (beat them once and lost once)

Top four 2030 teams (pick your order) have to be Bethesda, Team 91, 2Way, and Orange Crush. Only one of them was at NAL. BBL Black looks close - their FOGO is amazing. Logjam after that with Igloo, Duke's elite, Crabs, etc.

Is BBL Black a local team or takes into account most of NJ BBL Black is local team based in central NJ drawing a lot of kids from Summit/Chatham area. BBL "National" draws kids from a wider area within NJ, but still far from true national team drawing kids from multiple states like Red Hots, Nations Best, Eighteen, etc. The "National" team practices together year round since they are not spread out like other national teams.

Bethesda is clearly a fluke and got hot at the right time. Bethesda will not maintain that winning against top travel teams. Who have they beat before or after?
Crabs had a horrible showing at the NAL losing to Legacy 8-4 and only beating an average Shore-2-Shore Stingers 9-8.
2Way tied Laxachusetts 6-6 and only beat a good local GardenCIty Team 6-5 and lost to Legacy Admirals 8-7 at TriStar Lax Clash on Long Island.
Orange Crush....Where have they been hiding? What tournaments are they playing at and against what level of competition?

We used to see Orange Crush at all the top 2030 tournaments but they’ve been missing for most of this year…definitely weird.
As for BLC, you obviously haven’t seen them play; while the 2030 year might be “a fluke”, they are well coached and play true team ball. Def one of top programs at this age, not even a question.

Again, there is NO clear number 1 team. Any team can beat one another at any given tournament. I think the top teams are clearly in no specific order:
BBL Black
91 Cyclones
Bethesda Lax Club
Igloo Black Ice
These clubs have won tournaments with tough competition

Impressive weekend for 2030 Long Island teams. Cyclones beat Legacy in Championship Game at Gauntlet. Express finished 3rd.
Nice showing by 1st year LI Jesters team at Prime Time tournament. Seemed to hold their own against top tier teams (ie Orange Crush & Prime Time) while picking up a few victories against AA competition.
Rebels made Top 4 at Big Time Shootout.
I didn't notice if Igloo Black Ice was in action.

The B teams keep there talented players because if they go the A team's, they are 2nd or 3rd string. What is better, being the star on a B team or a backup on an A team and not see the field. Especially when daddy lacrosse and coaches favorites are part of the equation.

Wait until 7th grade when the best players slowly go over to 91 and Express. The power of the NLF is real and top players want to go play with and against the best. That has seemingly been the trend. Time will tell if one team can break that trend.
