Good question, and here is the answer:

(1) lacrosse is a small world and everyone who owns or runs the clubs, tournaments, vendors, etc. all know each other and are former teammates, drinking buddies, etc.
(2) there is a ton of economic cross pollination and people take care of each other business-wise - I am not talking about direct payoffs, but rather by attending tournaments, camps, showcases, buying merchandise, uniforms, video, etc.
(3) the results speak for themselves - the three teams in Machine's bracket were the three weakest in the overall field - none of them won a game except against each other, and MadLax, the team that emerged as the best of the three fillers, was blown out by a combined score of 16-1 by Machine in two games. Think about that, does a team that can't score more than 1 goal in two games belong at NAL, and MadLax was the BEST of those three. Machine got to 3-0 without breaking a sweat.
(4) coincidence or just a lucky draw? Maybe, but it seems to happen at all tournaments for certain programs.

They do. It’s not that 40 minute running, no time no nonsense. They actually try and structure real games. Just compare rule sets to the competing tourney this weekend. It’s like PAL vs HS. Only criticism in Tristar is schedule the older brackets. Mitchell has lights. Would love to see Express, Bandits and OGs battling it’s out. Especially since so many are teammates in the spring. I think a few college coaches would like to see that as well.

Looking for a smaller club team i don't need this AA stuff . My son skills are not that Elite. Not looking for the 2nd or 3rd team to the big organizations prices and not traveling 40 mins to practice with fuel at $5 bucks a gallon . Looking to stay in local tournaments and not going 3 states from Li . Anyone play or no about East coast elite ? Is it Bayport area ? Thanks

East Coast Elite is based out of Sayville.
Take a look at Rush they're based in Oakdale Bohemia area.

Something you don't see and read much on here . Telling the truth about skill level and doesn’t need the bling . Watch out for those kids 2 yrs those kids may emerge ! Seen it . Believe ECE is Sayville’s Varsity coach or the Director .

As long they are in 7th grade it is fine last I checked. I believe this they play lacrosse by grade year.

Lax Black’s 14/15yos just lost to a much much smaller but more skilled Eclispe team. While pushing Eclipse around at all levels, they were just not good not enough to move on. Thinking they should look to reclass this group another level before the NLF…

Also embarrassing that LI Express lost to their little brothers from up North after having a BIG lead.

Express 2027 has officially become daddy ball paradise ....that along with the grand wizard thinking he knows what he's doing has led to a disaster. Straighten it out or risk losing half the team before tryouts even get here . What a mess

Eclipse is a super talented team. Express is mediocre.

Lol. Express parents are on here all week talking about how Machine gives themselves the easiest bracket and then gets crushed in bracket play. Express those were really tough play in games. Lol. Keep worrying about Trashing “B” teams

Funny that you mention that fool....while you and your B team were playing against horrible B teams at snooze fest in farmingdale .....the real teams were playing in tri star (s2s,eclipse,lax black , express .....etc....) If and by the way express north won the whole thing . Get a clue

We can admit we are a B team. We never claimed anything else. Don’t worry when you jump ship to your 5th team you you will trash that organization. Maybe it’s not the team, maybe it’s the player

👏👏👏impressive. You played prime time, Calvary and 2 other express teams. We play those same teams and We tied S2S a couple of weeks. Eclipse & the men from Boston are great. Don’t fool yourself about the difficulty of that tournament

Legacy 27 & 28 teams are mediocre, remember when they were a force to be reckoned not too long ago???

What happen to the Legacy Gators team 1-4 . My was considering trying out for them . Anyone know anything about that team ? Alot of change over on that team ?

Practice in East islip , parents are frustrating, high tuition dont pro-form well .

Talented team but have been Underachieving for awhile now. Lots of turnover for last couple of years

Which Express team is the team that is going to the WS? There are so many Express teams its hard to keep track. Are they even playing any tournaments before the WS?

Tryouts are a joke. Team is already 98% set year to year. They cannot evaluate talent anyway. Hence Team has been mediocre at best.
