All MIAA teams have holdbacks now but what sets BL and CHC apart from the others is elite coaching and recruiting highly skilled athletes from out of state. BL wins another !

MCD and BL is going to be a great battle. CHC and STM is turning into an annual rivalry. Whatever the final, what an outstanding Tuesday Friday coming up as these 4 teams are very very good.
Hats off to StP and Severn for a great run and they will be in it year after year.
Gilman and Loyola will get back on their horses soon enough. Yeah, good take. Tomorrow will be fun for lacrosse fans. Tomorrow will be really fun. Great for the sport and league. StP has a nice underclass. They will be really good next year. Also hearing good things about the kids heading to JC. That coach develops players so their future is probably bright. They seem to be building. Gilman’s program was undermanned this year. But their coach is fantastic and tough so I do think he will have them back in the mix soon. MSJ appears to have a good coach in place too. If he can get some of those Catonsville kids, he could easily turn some of those close losses into wins. As a MSJ parent, not sure if you meant Catonsville HS kids or kids from the town of Catonsville?, the only Catonsville HS kids who would make a difference for MSJ are the 2022s. The talented 2023-2025 Catonsville kids are at McDonogh, St Mary's, BL, and even Friends. No 23-25 Catonsville HS kids would see the field at MSJ Interesting take as based on their roster CHS has a sophomore and junior starters on the team that beat MSJ.

Think St P will be in the hunt sooner than JC. But it's good for the league. This year was exciting with all the close games and upsets. Made that last couple weeks of games exciting.

First up: McDonogh and Boys Latin. McD is playing with focus right now and if BL plays not to lose, they will lose. Not sure if BL's fogo is back. I have a hunch McD is going to win a close game 10-9.
Second: Calvert Hall and St. Mary's. Lets hope the best version of each team shows up. If CH specialists have a day, CH by 3, 11-8.
A Calvert Hall v McDonogh final would be one no one saw coming. Possession is everything - BL FOGO will have a field day against McD; BL by 3+. Nice match up at the Dot with CH/STM. I have to give the edge to STMs 2-headed monster. I think the bigger question for CH is can the FR GK continue his run? STM by 1. If the BL FOGO dominates the McD FOGO, look for a pole FO tag team and lots of pressure from the wings. I like McD's wing play to make that better than a 50/50 proposition. Remember Spalding went approx 70% against McD but didn't win. I believe the keeper play will be a more important factor than the X. Whose seeing the ball better? Agree on the FR GK comment for CHC. Has any freshman GK ever won the championship? Spalding game plan was terrible on D . They let the one man show run around without any defensive help, or help was late. McD will not get the opportunities they did against Spalding. With just a little bit of a decent game plan, Spalding would be playing against BL, not McD. BL by 5

I think their Fogo is a junior too and our Fogo won nearly all of them. The left handed attack junior wouldn’t start or play for MSJ. We have a 2023 lefty attack who is better. The 2023 CHS defender? He wouldn’t play this year. Maybe next? Catonsville beat us because they got all the good 2022s in Catonsville. No question. But even if we got all of them, maybe we beat JC but that’s about it

They was robbed. BL finds a way to lose and the last goal was clearly after the 0:00 .. No matter they was robbed.

Time outs at the end of the game to set up a play usually never work. The BL game was a classic example. Let the kids play. Don’t give the D a chance to set up. Stop over coaching.

This one didn’t age well. Never know what will happen in the MIAA playoffs. BL had a chance to seal the deal, McD should not have had that last shot opportunity with seconds left regardless of the time left on the clock at the end. Gotta love the competition regardless your school/tribe!
