Lol so true. I was at the game and had to keep checking to see if he was even in. Did absolutely nothing. Navy’s starting lefty attack is a freshman right? You have the St Johns lefty and the St Mary’s lefty coming in who are both better. I am seeing jr being a strong 3 year starter for VMI or maybe Merchant Marine Academy. GI Joe looked like a deer in the headlights “coaching” yesterday. I figured he must be a decent coach but wow.
He won’t last at NAVY. I am betting he will leave after plebe year. He won’t have daddy there to make sure he is playing. True colors show when it’s NOT daddy ball running the show. SF will leave the program because who wants to deal with all the me me Hawks parents and entitled Hawks kids.

Your wrong. Let’s meet up and place a monetary bet.

Hats off to StP and Severn for a great run and they will be in it year after year.

Gilman and Loyola will get back on their horses soon enough.

I will let other folks talk about what a changing culture and Loyola's championship F/S team means for them next year. Gilman has been rebuilding for ten years now but next year they will turn it around. On the other hand, SP's rebuild (both coaching and personnel) is real as they were probably the second or third best team at the end of the season. Severn will always struggle with depth but are extremely well coached and have some top flight talent (especially their FOGO).

Four good teams left. CHC has the offensive momentum over the Saints. Only a great performance by their FOGO and keeper will keep SM in the game. Look for the Cards to win by 4. While the talent on the field may be comparable in the BL MCD match up, the BL coaching staff will take full advantage of their opponent's lack of preparation. Look for a shortie on one or two of the Eagle attackmen, pressure rides, motion and seal plays galore. If they win over 60% at the X and Petro is hot, its going to be a long day for the Eagles.

Spencer Ford has bounced from Broadneck to Dematha and now Spalding. He’s not loyal to any program. Just because he’s part of LSG doesn’t mean a thing. He will go to BL to coach his kid

Ford is a claim jumper. Frankly , not much of a coach if you ask me, look at results

12-5 on the year.

NLF ranked D man!!!!

No idea what this is supposed to mean but in response, I am sure the Spaulding young man is a wonderful guy and great student but i do thing it could be difficult for him to play at the Naval Academy. Appears to be a very smart player with great stickwork but just doesn't have the size, strength, and especially speed to get his own shot. Also doesn't seem to have a very hard shot. The attackman going to Towson is much better. If he is going to Navy Prep, he has a chance to get better before joining the varsity

To bad they will lose when it counts here shortly. Baltimore team has their number. StM peaked against some teams that were either injured, short players, or some other issue. CH is ready to go, StM will be lucky they keep it close.

None of spaldings attack could dodge and create their own shots. MM was the dodger and basically the whole offense. Watch the tape a few times spalding could fast break but pulled it out and slowed it down to get MM on the field. It was like only a few kids had the green light to shoot. In the end it did them in.

It’s a big deal. STM might win a championship after all. 🧐

STM isn’t in the JV Championships. Baltimore runs the MIAA.

Contrary to the opinions on this Board, the new AD at Blakefield has no time for ranting and raving parents. Zero tolerance. LB has two top coaches from BL and McD. Give them 4-5 years to develop their own recruits.
LB parents, your sons will have moved onto college in the interim so don't fret. The new AD will give this coaching staff ample time to prove themselves. Spend your remaining time on Chestnut Ave enjoying your new practice/game facilities and supporting the School's spiritual mission.

What other schools allow parent tailgating in the parking lot of hs games and that behavior in the stands?

4-5 years? For high school? Either you can coach or you can't. All these students come from the same clubs and have the same skills. And btw - high school coaches typically leave because they end up getting a higher paying job or the demands of family life or something more serious in their family life demands they move on. They usually stay as long as they want so long as they don't upset the school's fundraising efforts.

Why are LB parents on this forum knocking their players, parents and coaches? You are a team, act like it. Even if you are eighth place in the MIAA you win as a team and lose as a team. You made the choice to attend LB, you are paying the tuition so be happy with your choice and wait another 10-12 years as alum to win a championship!

Enough about LB, seriously, no one cares that you are blaming the coaches and broadcasting potential candidates. We know that you are unhappy about playing time for your son. Let's move on.

First up: McDonogh and Boys Latin. McD is playing with focus right now and if BL plays not to lose, they will lose. Not sure if BL's fogo is back. I have a hunch McD is going to win a close game 10-9.

Second: Calvert Hall and St. Mary's. Lets hope the best version of each team shows up. If CH specialists have a day, CH by 3, 11-8.

A Calvert Hall v McDonogh final would be one no one saw coming.

Tomorrow will be really fun. Great for the sport and league.

StP has a nice underclass. They will be really good next year.

Also hearing good things about the kids heading to JC. That coach develops players so their future is probably bright. They seem to be building.

Gilman’s program was undermanned this year. But their coach is fantastic and tough so I do think he will have them back in the mix soon.

MSJ appears to have a good coach in place too. If he can get some of those Catonsville kids, he could easily turn some of those close losses into wins.

As a MSJ parent, not sure if you meant Catonsville HS kids or kids from the town of Catonsville?, the only Catonsville HS kids who would make a difference for MSJ are the 2022s. The talented 2023-2025 Catonsville kids are at McDonogh, St Mary's, BL, and even Friends. No 23-25 Catonsville HS kids would see the field at MSJ

BL will handle McD , BL knows the ball goes to one man and will take that away. BL out coaches McD evey playoff game for years. McD will get beat by 4/5 goals. I dont see a close game at all.

CH and StM will be a good one. If StM can get back to some earlier form, it is a tossup.

Possession is everything - BL FOGO will have a field day against McD; BL by 3+. Nice match up at the Dot with CH/STM. I have to give the edge to STMs 2-headed monster. I think the bigger question for CH is can the FR GK continue his run? STM by 1.

If the BL FOGO dominates the McD FOGO, look for a pole FO tag team and lots of pressure from the wings. I like McD's wing play to make that better than a 50/50 proposition. Remember Spalding went approx 70% against McD but didn't win. I believe the keeper play will be a more important factor than the X. Whose seeing the ball better? Agree on the FR GK comment for CHC. Has any freshman GK ever won the championship?

Just search “MIAA lacrosse or TDSports Video” on YouTube and there will be the games with a “LIVE” box in the preview.

BL & CH take the games.

BL outcoaches McD and preys on their weak midfield and 1-sided attack.

CH outplays SM from the whistle.CH has too many weapons on O.

BL/CH final is a toss-up but I'm going BL

All MIAA teams have holdbacks now but what sets BL and CHC apart from the others is elite coaching and recruiting highly skilled athletes from out of state. BL wins another !

Interesting take as based on their roster CHS has a sophomore and junior starters on the team that beat MSJ.

StP and JC definitely pointed up. Think St P will be in the hunt sooner than JC. But it's good for the league. This year was exciting with all the close games and upsets. Made that last couple weeks of games exciting.

Spalding game plan was terrible on D . They let the one man show run around without any defensive help, or help was late. McD will not get the opportunities they did against Spalding. With just a little bit of a decent game plan, Spalding would be playing against BL, not McD. BL by 5
