They have don’t it every year. SW too. Actually most clubs have some form of individual eval before tryouts.
Will there be another team, like last years Heros white debacle, where there is a major exodus and migration to other clubs??
History says there will be much less movement this year and less and less every year from now. The years after 6th and 7th grade tend to be the ones with most movement.

The biggest X fact as always is girls from Pride and Stars who don't make Capital Blue who are looking for an MD based club. Will impact middle tier clubs south on BWI more than others.

Ask to work in with your targeted teams in the early summer to get a sense of where you would fit in terms of culture and playing ability.

Would teams like M&D and Heros do that this year??

Have never heard a club say no. Actually probably better to do it at end of spring season compared to during summer when practices are usually just glorified walk throughs

M and D Red will fold. Some girls will be trying out at other clubs, coaching staff wanting to move to the black team, parents and players are toxic. SR is not forth coming with details, and not answering questions.

This rumor was posted previously on Page 69. Red coaches become the black coaches. Maybe the band aid is being ripped off.

Don’t think this will be true. MG will stay one more year at least.

Actually a Black M and D parent. They are spreading false info so the Red team will fold. Why? Because they know their kid has a chance of getting cut from the team. Eliminate the red team so the black team coaches won’t demote anyone to Red. It’s their twisted thinking. They are all fake and all entitled parents and kids.

Moving to the area in the summer and looking at lacrosse programs. Will Heros Green take any new girls? Is it a waste of time to tryout? Parents said M and D not taking on new girls but will hold tryouts. SW taking new girls or keeping the same team? Just looking at options before paying for tryout fees.

Any club will take you if you are good enough. However, for those programs good enough may be mean being one of the top 100 2026 girls in the country. If you aren't playing on a top 15 club right now, I would not bother unless you are ok with B team.

Based on history of the top programs, SW takes the most new girls at this age level.

If your daughter is good enough i’m sure these teams will consider taking her, idk if you’ll want to go to SW considering the amount they just lost to price by but i’m sure if your daughter is an A level player these teams will take her
