I’m thinking SPSG repeats tomorrow. They are too talented and too deep. Well coached in all areas too. They will be ready !

GCS by 6. This is their year.
SPSG is not healthy enough to battle as needed and coaching won't get them over the hump.

It is worth noting SPSG is lead by a couple seniors who have played in the Championship game 3 x in the past 4 years (2020 season was cancelled)

How this work out. Gcs was totally outclassed in all areas. Coaches did not have the Dragons prepared at all and could make no adjustments. Their defense for shredded.

Ended 15-7 but it wasn’t even that close. Think spsg came out really wanting to vindicate their crushing defeat and gcs thought it was in the bag. Whoever said defense isn’t important clearly doesn’t know that they are talking about. Spsg got a start midfielder back(2 yellows) and their starting defender(shoulder or leg I think) and moved some pieces around and really changed the entire game

SPGS played a great game. Credit to MG and Deemer for have their players ready. The SPGS's FOGO was solid, but #13 and 27# were outstanding. PW handled the loss with class and did not point out all of the injuries that impacted the teams performance. Congratulations to the Gators!

You sound like a coach trying to justify the loss.

Both teams lost key players to major injuries so pretty even on that front.

Oh, did you mean like how GCS handled the regular season win with class? GCS was constantly on social media slamming SPSG about the win. Tell it both ways. MG gave GCS credit after their loss. Both teams had a great season and I wish the seniors well at the next level. Stop with the sideways congratulations. It is very transparent.

Not a coach and don’t need to justify the loss. All you have to do is check both teams Twitter to know.

Just good to see the tide changed in MD high school lacrosse. Not just because SP has owned McD for 4 straight games but other teams playing great as well

No "sideways compliments" here - whatever that means. The better team won last night. MG was quick to point out all of the injuries after the regular season loss. You did not hear that from PW, MF or even TC this year. Maybe she was miss quoted in the Sun. I highly doubt it.. Unfortunately ever team has a couple those parents and SPGS is no exception. Steering away from commenting further, Colgain. Have a great summer.

A loss is a loss, and a win is a win. The only thing that matters is the final score. Who cares who wins the first half or second half. There are two halves, and the only thing that matters is the final score. The only ones that care about first half wins or second half wins are the losing team.

So I was watching the Maryland mens lacrosse team play a few weeks ago. They were losing 0-1 after the first 2 minutes of the game start.. Maryland won by 12 goals. Your logic says that the other team won the first two minutes of the game. Sounds silly, right?

The better team won last evening. Not sure what a "sideway congratulations" is? All teams have 'those parents' and SPGS and GCS are no different. I will steer away from commenting on that.- MG did call out all of her injuries of the reg season loss, but did give GCS a 'sideway congratulations." Was that used in the right context?

I think it is important to comment that both coaches for both teams are solid coaches and have a solid coaching staff. They get the game of coaching and they understand the importance of playing as a team. No one person, player and coach is more important. That is what makes these teams great. What makes a program toxic is when people forget all of that.

A man down starting in the first half. 2 man down in the 2nd.

This isn’t Colgain. You are clueless. Read all of the articles and quotes. The GCS coach and McDonogh coach said they had injuries. Most teams have injuries during this time of season. Why don’t you just congratulate and move on. You had to end the paragraph with something negative.
