That’s on coaching. You can’t use that as an excuse when you had other defenders on your bench, older defenders. At one point you took your best defender on the field off the girl scoring the most goals. That’s also coaching. Your coach was not prepared.

They played outstanding offense as well with 7 different girls scoring.

agreed, both schools parents were rather quiet for the most part. Lots of parents from both schools chatting with each other after the game.

Here's a new topic - Mercy wins big within the B Conference, but when they played teams in the A (JC, RP & MDS) they were beaten. Where is their happy medium? Do you stay in B and destroy teams that aren't competitive, or do you move to A and get destroyed?

Plenty of teams in the bottom half of the A division to be competitive with.

GCS is a relative newcomer to the A conference and look what they have accomplished. I don't see the same level of success once the 2022s leave, but it's been done.

FYI, gcs lost to spsg last year in the regular season by about the same margin as they won this year. Difference is spsg already won the championship last year. Maybe gcs does it this year, maybe they don’t but spsg already did their job.
Also, you really show how much of a slimeball you are when you say that YOU are a winner. The girls won, not you. They should be the ones that are proud for beating the current champs in the regular season. The only thing you should take credit for is the future counseling that your daughter will need for having a parent who can’t get out of their way and let them enjoy their win.

Both of you need to settle down and move on. Your girls have moved on and are preparing for next games. Learn from them.

Great sideline celebrations tonight in NCAA conference playoffs. Players chanting goal counts. Players singing songs. Rowboats. Bowling pins. Great energy. BOTC salties should calm down about IAAM celebrations.

Gcs had a coach and school that worked to build a great team. Mercy does not have that so they won’t get to top of the A.

Definitely "Spalding Refs" were used... that game was so blatantly anti-GCS. IAAM needs to get more impartial refs in AA County !
