What is the obsession with knowing divisions for PAL?? Your kids team plays their schedule and the rest doesn’t matter.

PAL, as it always has been, doesn’t keep standings and there are no playoffs. 8 weeks of fun for your kid and his friends in town

You are wrong. They put up results/standings, even if by default, on their website and you could see records. They also had championship games.
Transparency is always a good thing.

There is a playoff for teams in the A bracket.

Anyone know how teams in A and B are doing?
Are teams like manhassett and garden city leading? Any surprises?

Garden City, Manhasset, West Islip are in A
Westhampton, Mount Sinai, North Fork, Eastport South Manor, Sayville, Miller Place Three Village are in B

Teams will not be moved, scores will not be posted(they feel it promotes teams running up scores) and apparently standings won’t be posted. The whole thing makes no sense to me, they merged so teams could play more appropriate competition, yet they only have 3 divisions and there is 2* the amount of teams in b compared to a+c. I know they say this is the year to sort the divisions, but we could have sorted them much better. If they want to grow the game they need to set up more and better divisions, share results and standings (for the parents who pay) and be dynamic with the divisions. I know my division is totally lopsided, some close games and lots of blow outs

Agree. Terrible job this year, getting worse not better.

the problem also is that teams are putting themselves in weaker divisions that belong there. keep C divisions for beginners, not teams like islip and pat med etc....Islip had all travel helmets in a C division.

It’s a Mylacrosse tournament. You’ll get the schedule on Friday before the tourney!

I have no clue why people feel the need to discuss the team I coach (pat-med) on this forum. People have asked me about or placement into c and I have explained it, feel free to reach out to me if you are worried about this. For reference we were 1-6-1 last season in B, and I requested to go into B

It was a compliment as I thought your team was a solid B team. I apologize.

A handful of teams are playing out of conference games - meaning a B team may play vs an A or C may play a B and so on.

Not knowing the schedule less than a week before a tourney is a joke! We have other kids and lives. Mylaxtourneys should be boycotted.

I hear you, the 91 tournaments are terrible. Each division is lucky if they get 4 teams. Usually have to beg some teams to join. The schedule is up, very town heavy

Why don’t they put their own teams in these tournaments? If 91 Venom was in this tournament you would get more teams sign up.

Because they have bigger and better things planned for their teams

It’s also the back end of spring break. I would expect most rosters to be lite. Take it for what it is, an opportunity to play.
