Spaulding beat Gonzaga but St. John’s would wreck any MIAA school in football just like they would in lacrosse. Not really close.

Why would anyone from the MIAA think it’s smart to compare WCAC football with their beloved MIAA? Stick to lacrosse. You still have some convinced your the best lacrosse league.

Unfortunately you kicked out your only legit football program.

I thought injuries and illness kept a few starters off the field at the end of last year - nothing the coach could do about that.

The MIAA is incredibly deep. There are literally no off days in the league. Those teams are insanely good. Even the “bad” ones.

Your favorite team win a game or two against an MIAA opponent, but none can compete at that level twice a week like the MIAA teams do. It’s what makes those teams and the league special.

It’s a grinder.

The math on the rankings websites doesn’t lie. WCAC has 3, maybe 4 good teams. 9 teams total. It’s simply a very shallow league.

Meanwhile ALL 11 MIAA teams are ranked in the top 19-20 teams in Maryland and well ahead of the bottom 6 WCAC teams.

Who was comparing the leagues? Clearly you have trouble reading and comprehension. Miaa lacrosse players actually play football along with other sports.It is why the MIAA is the best lacrosse conference. 6-7 teams(out of 9) consistently ranked nationally,not 1 or 2. We get that SCJ parents are bitter that little ralphie had to stop playing football in the high school for fear.Hard to swallow after so much success playing peewee.SJC after this year will be non existent in the lacrosse world.Big differnce in having 1o r 2 good seasons vs decades of winning!

Easy to play MIAA football and lacrosse. The football is B level compared to the WCAC. One of the many reasons St. Francis was kicked out. Your soft multi sport athletes trying to play football couldn’t compete. What kind of football league gives a team the trophy and forfeits before the season. JOKE. Great B League.

This post shows that MIAA fans are still living on past successes. The league has been pretty mediocre the last several years. Which in turn results in powerhouses from other leagues coming into your back yard and beating your top teams.

MIAA 2018: +25% of league in top 20
MIAA 2019: National #1`
MIAA 2020: National #1 and 45% of league in top 25
MIAA 2021: +25% of league in top 12 spots
MIAA 2022: +35% of league in top 20

Calvert Hall seems to be in the top 6 or 7 every year and 2 years at #1. BL and McDonogh are right there with them in the top spots year after year.

Look for Gonzaga to drop considerably in the rankings after they get thumped by SJC. With their top attackman out for the season now, Gonzaga drops back to the pack. This would be like Spaulding without Mighty Mouse.

BL by as many as they want. JC totally outmatched
SP by 3 but will struggle at the dot
CH by 4 - STM finally gets exposed
Loyola by 3 - Defense hold MSJ to less than 3

Funny how they expose themselves just like Spaulding. These folks must really not like each other. Truth is SJC nor spaulding will be ranked after this year. Having 2 or even 3 years of success hardly compares to the dominance of the consistent top half of the MIAA. Everyone knows WCAC football is better but no lax bros play football in the WCAC.MIAA A football teams can compete vs WCAC teams and they do have lax bros on them.

I have one kid playing in a top 10 school, and one playing at a top 25 school...........you do realize that there are over 1500 high school lacrosse programs in the country, right? Anybody able to play in the top 25, heck, the top 50, is doing just fine lax wise.
