Way too early ranking for NEPSAC West Div I
1. Brunswick 2. Deerfield 3. Taft 4. Salisbury 5. Avon Old Farms 6. Trinity-Pawling 7. Westminster 8. Loomis- Chaffee 9. Berkshire 10.Choate
Feel free to tear it up and start over but let's get some dialogue going. If we get enough requests we can start Div II-III rankings as well.

I think Deerfield is going to be down a few notches and Salisbury up a few. Avon and TP will battle for that spot with Avon having a chance to move up a spot or two. Cant speak to 7-10 but I believe the top 6 in terms of teams is 100% correct. However as for Founders League playoffs it is my understanding that Brunswick, Deerfield and Salisbury are not eligible so that is why they go to Prep Nationals with Lawrenceville. FL playoffs is top 4 so it will be Taft, Avon, TP and someone!

Agreed and a more civil response would be - oops I forget them in the top 10 or I have them outside the top 10. In fact, the question probably wasn't about address but the ranking so the sarcastic unhelpful response re: google the address was even less helpful. I would have them definitely above Berkshire and Choate. So top 10.

I’ll bite on trying to guess a division 2/3 though I don’t know most of the schools or even if these are the right teams in the division (or does anyone know anything about these teams)
1. Brunswick 2nd team 2. St. Luke’s 3. Gunnery 4. Canterbury 5. Cheshire Academy 6. Hopkins School 7. Rye Country Day 8. King 9. Williston Northampton 10. Suffield Academy 11. Wilbraham and Monson academy 12. Greenwich Country Day 13. Hamden Hall 14. Greens Farms Academy 15. Millbrook 16. Kingswood Oxford 17. South Kent 18. Wooster School
There is literally zero analysis - I’m just throwing a list out there as everyone probably only cares about Division 1 but there has to be someone smart out there that knows something about these teams.

We heard from our coach that FL tournament will NOT include Salisbury, Deerfield, and Brunswick. So Taft, Avon, Trinity-Pawling sounds right for top 3 or at least at this juncture it does.

We heard the same from our coach. But it makes sense since neither Salisbury, Brunswick or Deerfield are in the Founders league. Other than the teams playing and the dates we haven’t heard much about the end of season tourney/playoffs. Anybody have additional details?

Same. Just dates at this point. I assume win and move on but it should take more than 2 wins so who knows.

Anyone who can beat Brunswick or Lawrenceville this year will EARN a trophy. New England West 1 is the League of importance, not the Founders League. Football abandoned the FL and it's irrelevant now.

In New England who is beating Brunswick? Lawrenceville is in NJ, not NE 1 West or FL.

FL is not irrelevant as long as Taft, AOF, and TP are in it. If they ever leave then its a mess.

How about a NEPSAC lacrosse tourney similar to what they do with basketball? Designate class levels like basketball does and lets see who is the best.

Week 1 way too early Rankings NEW 1
1. Brunswick 2. Deerfield 3. Taft 4. Salisbury 5. AOF 5. Trinity-Pawling 7. Hotchkiss 8. Loomis 9. Berkshire 10.Choate
Not much changed week 1 as everyone lost out of league games except Brunswick and Trinity-Pawling. Feel free to debate or ridicule.

Week 2 Rankings
1. Brunswick 2. Taft 3. Salisbury 4. Trinity-Pawling 5. Deerfield 6. Loomis- Chaffee 7. Avon Old Farms 8. Hotchkiss 9.Westminster 10. Berkshire
NE West II-III 1. "Wick B 2. Canterbury 3. Millbrook
Interesting week. Is Loomis this good or has Salisbury taken a step back or just a bad weekend? Deerfield losing by a 10 spot to 'Wick hurts a lot. TP probably a little high but hey they are 2-0 vs. MA teams and that's a decent start but a tough road tilt this week at Loomis. Avon will right the shop I'm sure just not used to seeing them 0-3 though very tough opponents. Remember these are IMO rankings and may change greatly from week to week. As always let the debates begin.

Here's my poor attempt at a ranking and I can't disagree with any of the ones posted so far. There has been some chatter about New England Division 2 and 3 so this is a list of teams with their records for Division 1, 2 and 3. It includes scrimmages and maybe shouldn’t…
Does anyone know the best place to get scores besides the school website and Inside Lacrosse. Maxpreps is not usually accurate or uptodate as anyone can enter a score.
I’ll try to update the records every Monday. We should know more after this week
Division 1
1.Brunswick (2-0) - big wins 2. Taft (2-0) 3. Deerfield (1-1) - large loss 4. Salisbury (1-1) - loss was a scrimmage 5. Trinity Pawling (2-0) 6. Avon Old Farms (0-4) - some of these losses were scrimmages and the other ones were close so they may be better than their recrod 7. Loomis Chaffee (0-2) 8. Westminster (2-2) 9. Hotchkiss (1-0) - win against Andover 10. Choate (2-0) - cant get a sense of close wins against Brewster and Pomfret 11. Berkshire School 12. Kent School (0-1) 13. Northfield Mount Hermon (0-3) - their scrimmages and loss against Westminster were not close
Division 2:
1. Brunswick B (not their JV): 2. Albany Academies (1-2) - beat millbrook but it was just a scrimmage. Scrimmage to Salisbury was not a blowout either 3. Millbrook (0-1) - lost to Albany in a scrimmage 4. Gunnery 5. Canterbury 6. Wilbraham and Monson 7. Williston 8. St Lukes 9. Suffield Academy 10. Rye Country Day School 11. King School 12. Cheshire Academy (0-1) - crushed by millbrook 13. Greens Farms Academy (1-0) - I know nothing about Springfield whom they beat 14. Hopkins School 15. Greenwich Country Day School 16. Kingswood Oxford 17. Hamden Hall
Division 3:
1. Wooster 2. Harvey 3. Hoosac 4. Forman 5. Storm King 6. Marvelwood

why include scrimmages? do they even keep score? They aren't played like real games even if they are set up that way.

I agree scrimmages are irrelevant. My son plays for Brunswick and in scrimmages he starts and then plays one or two quarters, that's it. Then the subs go in - no one should be interpreting anything from scrimmages.

Well to be honest I can’t tell from inside lacrosse what’s a scrimmage and what wasn’t. And they are also only being used for the first week of play to get a gauge where they might stand because otherwise there is zero data otherwise and then you are left with me and my dense self trying to figure out a ranking. But don’t worry, scrimmages will be gone from the rankings because hopefully we will have a weeks worth of data to use.

IMO Rankings
1. Brunswick 2. Salisbury 3. Taft 4. Hotchkiss 5. Loomis 6. Trinity-Pawling 7. Deerfield 8. AOF 9. .Choate 10. Berkshire.
Jumbled this week after top 3. . Hotchkiss, Loomis both had good weeks. TP, Deerfield so-so last week. AOF looks to right ship this week. Choate is good can jump up soon. I just need to see them play stronger competition. Also seems some real talent is getting down into DII schools like Gunn, Canterbury, Pomfret. Let the debates begin!
