CH runs league again. None of the other teams have anyone that can cover the attackman going to uva. Better run zone against them. They seemed to get impatient going against a zone last year but if you do go man your done. Yeah right….kid is built like a stick figure….homeboy will have a rude awakening this year A USDA Prime dew sher at that. Hard to find a more unlikeable kid and hardly is someone his teammates will respect as a captain. Can’t deny he has skill but is soft and already has a foot out the door. We’ll win in spite of him

They seemed to get impatient going against a zone last year but if you do go man your done. Lacrosse is a team game. Your number one rarely wins you a game in the A Conference semis or finals: its usually your 4, 5 or 6th option on O. The same applies on defense: opposing offenses go after the weak link not the strongest. Of course a super hot FOGO or keeper can be a tipping point.

The game changers during CHC's championship run were the twin 2 way midfielders who transferred from Georgia - they were men among boys and dominated. I think their success lead to the shift of some MIAA schools to begin recruiting outside of MD to compete.

I love how all you MIAA 1/4 zip dads talk about how great your teams are. The real truth in the DMV SJC out of the WCAC is the best in the region. PERIOD that is why the Spalding guys have tried to recruit their players to leave and transfer the the person of Glen Burnout. They will take on the best of the MIAA , IAC and WCAC as well as IMG , Hill and St Anthony's(NY). Let's hear what you jug heads have to say now!

Spaulding recruits anyone with a pulse. And they only wanted your best kid.
The reality is, in the lax world, no one cares about SJC. WCAC as a whole is trash ball. The MIAA had 5 teams ranked ahead of SJC last year on Laxnumbers.com.

Still think St. John’s has too much talent all over the field. Do either of these teams win a FO against St. John’s FOGO?

It’s only “playing up” when you play against kids that are older than you. Not “playing up” when you are playing against the kids that you should be in school with.

Wait.. maybe you Hawks daddies can start a new forum so you can continue to bash each other on keyboards then play nice when around each other in person. Funny stuff but seriously, if it will take all the Spalding and Hawk chest pounding off this thread then the rest of us can actually have civil lacrosse talks. Call the forum Daddy Ball at its finest!
