at the 27 level, FLG is clear #2 team. YJ B (Gaghan) is the only other team that's even close.

That’s great to hear that FLG has a relevant team. Hopefully they can stay together and maintain. 7th grade is pretty young and there is traditionally much movement at this age. Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out by 9th grade

FLG would be mid tier in Baltimore. Pride beat them by a couple and Pride is still a level below Hero’s and M&D.

FLG 27 navy is a great team with a great coach, that team doesn’t run the offense around the same 2 kids.

That may be true, but who would want to live in or near that cesspool?

FLG has played every team they have lost to within a goal or 2. Aces, Pride and YJ. They seem to play a great team game of lacrosse and are very well coached. Doesn't seem to be any drama within the team either.

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend driving around the city but there is some of the wealthiest areas in the nation 30 min outside the city.


Pride is a top-15 nationally team, no doubt about it. You got Hero's M&D, Aces, YJs then a gap with a bunch of good teams.

As someone who lives near Baltimore I am offended. Lol. Not really.

Baltimore is a cesspool. But not the surrounding areas. Which is where almost all of the players come from.

And as for FLG competing with the top teams from the "cesspool "......um, not likely. Spend a weekend with Hero's Green or M&D.

Of course Aces and YJ are tough, so maybe you would do ok after competing against them.

true but they are still the 2nd best team on the island. Probably same level as prime time if you are looking at metro NY.

wow. this debate has gotten off the rail. The initial question was why so many of the LILJ picks were YJ or FLG. Pretty simple answer is that those are the best 27 teams on the island.

Have you started thinking about post-season summer lax stuff? My Daughter wants to do athletes unlimited camp and BC camp.
