The word "inconsequential" is bothersome precisely because is is NOT coming from a troll or a trash talker. It is an honest statement of how the Hawks' Dad coaches and two stud players view the remaining boys on the team.

It didn't help FCA when Madlax forced the organizers to put FCA in the tougher bracket so they could drop down.

Is NAL a madlax tourney? How could they force the change otherwise? I do agree though that those 2 teams should have been switched .

Do you even know the 27 Hawks players and coaches? The parents are actually pretty tight knit. They get along just fine. You are definitely stirring the pot. Why? This is youth lacrosse.

No there’s a troll from the shore that knows everything about the hawks .There wasn’t one peep about the hawks after they boat raced the crabs 3 weeks ago . Now mysteriously the topics to come up involve how bad the hawks and FCA played ????? Hmmmm. Every parent from the shore knows exactly who this is , the same one who was trolling the FO dad last year.

Anyone know what the deal is with Nationals suing Madlax over a tournament?

It has to do with discrimination over the US Club Nationals Tournament in Florida. I’m not sure what proof they have, but apparently the program was kicked out with no explanation. (Coming from a friend with a kid on the 26 team.)

The off-season shuffle has begun here in Baltimore. Coaches saw gaps in their teams in the fall season and are now out recruiting.

This is the most generous representation of the lawsuit I have read so far. I don't like Madlax, but everyone else has said the lawsuit has no basis.

Lots of kids from multiple top programs at the St Paul's prospect day today.

Expect some shuffling.

I don't see them ranked on USCL. Any specific tourneys they've played?

2027 MD Preds are 0-6 for the fall. They will be AAA at best in HOCO.

They were at the same tourneys as my 28 son. Looked solid at the first. They appeared to be short a few kids at the second. I think they will be ok once they are at full strength and can find a little continuity.

-At this point, I'm probably asking the Sidewinders to move down to AAA and moving MESA up. But it's a long drive from PA.
-Not sure if Looney's or True KP are fielding teams. No fall results. If they field teams, probably gonna be AA or below.
-Probably slotting Zingos Black into AAA. They went (5-2) but lost to Team MD 1-6, and lost bad to Crabs 1-11 in a shortened game.
-Probably swinging Preds to AA or AAA depending on how the divisions fall. They went 0-6 but had competitive games with BLC and VLC.

Mesa was a md. team in AAA. They folded.

That MESA team is likely the one from PA. Doubt they would come down to HoCo.
So Looneys and MESA are gone from AAA. Zingos, Preds, or Madlax DMV probably make the most sense moving playing AAA, I guess.

Team MD did not lose to Zingos. That was Team Mds 2nd team.

Only 1 team listed for Team MD in the rankings, red. Is that the A team or B Team? If it was the B team, then the A didn't play any games this fall?

Zingos lost to Crabs and 91, but beat Hawks Richmond, Koopers, and Team MD.

Team MDs B team lost to Zingos. The site messed Team MD teams up. Their A team went 3-3. Had a bad loss to FCA. That game will be close in the Spring. Talent is equal between those two teams,

Team Maryland has two teams, White (A) and Red (B).

In 2021 HOCO - White played in Elite and Red played in AA.

The games listed on USCL are correct. I'm not sure why the White team isn't ranked, but if you click the "Alphabetic" button at the top of the page you can see all the teams, ranked and unranked and the game results.

Better to be a holdback and win than holdback and still not be good enough, even against the teams you play.

Team MD 2027 plays in the HoCo elite division and has consistently played in top tournaments over the last three years. Some other teams in the club do not but this is the 2027 board hold back Dad!.

Team MD 2027 is also made up of all local players. Every player on the team is from Frederick County except 2 kids from Washington County and 1 from Howard and 1 from Carroll. We have done pretty darn well against the other elite teams who are way more regional than Team Md. We will keep hitting the wall and challenging ourselves to get better. We do have 3 summer birthday kids who started school late so no real holdbacks.

Losing by double digits to nearly every other HoCo Elite team is "doing pretty darn well"? Glad to see y'all settle for mediocrity. Should help now that you've renamed the team "National". Keep hitting the wall tho.

Yeah, what is the deal with the Team MD Nationals thing? Has it been around awhile and is it any different than the White team? How many clubs are represented at the 2027 level beyond the normal Team MD team?

Top tournaments? If you call Beach Lax, Hogan Hershey or Colonial Challenge top tournaments, then Ok boomer.

They're mostly cash grabs. Those teams made sense when you're in a more isolated area that has fewer strong club teams. Team MD is known as a hype machine that doesn't deliver to the level they hype.
