You realize these rankings are just starting to populate. It is not remotely complete at the moment. There are usually around 250+ teams ranked and currently there are only around 50. It appears only teams that played in Oct. are populating at the moment. I would not look at this until mid December after all the Nov. tournaments are factored in.

None of it matters.

It matters when all the coaches are watching the highest ranked teams. If you are playing on that field, you have a better chance of getting noticed. No coaches at the lower ranked games. It was evident last weekend at MidAtlantic.

Presidents Cup schedules are offline again. Surely they can't be making changes this close to the event?

Unreal. Sure they can. Club lax is great, if you don't need to work, have only one kid and have tons of money. Mid atlantic hit me with a change while I was traveling there. Had they made the change earlier would have saved me leaving work early and a night in a hotel. With technology today it's pretty easy to tell its going to be pouring more than 10 hours in advance.

The colleges go to the top bracket games first, they don’t check the usclub rankings to see where teams are ranked. They could care less about that. And most coaches check out teams based on club reputation, not necessarily ability. Also if there is a player on a lower ranked team that they’re interested in they’ll go see them as well. To honestly believe coaches check the rankings before going to tourneys is ridiculous. The clubs place themselves when they register for a tourney, the tourney doesn’t check rankings first before they make brackets/schedule, they’re just concerned with making their money. Typically teams rank themselves in a 1-5 system and most teams rank themselves 3 or 4 as opposed to 5, (5 being the best) and the college coaches can check with the tourney to see what the top bracket is, however they prob already know going into it.

That’s all people talk about are the rankings. Just enjoy it and have fun if you’re lucky enough to be on one of the top teams. As soon as they come out it’s the big buzz! We can debate what’s important and what’s the meaning of all day long.

Wasn’t going to be petty and say the current club but considering they don’t care about us why not. Any clubs need 24 players still? Need to get out of this train wreck 91 is.

Maybe Jesters, LAX On , Liberty ? May they will give a personal tryout? Or, maybe you can Ask to have your daughter go to one of their practices if they are still in need of girls? Good luck!

So many good players. Not so many good teams. The way the system is set up it benefits good players on top teams. Most people figure it out too late! This is when all that sacrifice and hard work pays off. So tough to stay on the top teams throughout a playing career.

91 parents are happy with the change in coaching and leadership. After years of mismanagement, the future looks bright.

The top of these rankings will never be confused for being a top team. Everyone knows where the best teams are.

Whoever posted this is seriously mistaken we are not happy at all the amount of promises broken already is not ok. Nothing about this is better.

Where/when did the leadership change? Was the club bought out?

If you feel your daughter is a very good player and you will prob know this by 7th grade by comparison to other players. If she’s in top 20%, make sure to try and get her on one of the top A teams by 7th grade (if she’s not already). It will be much harder after that.

New director and coach for 2024. More organized and focused.

New coaches across the programs who are parents mostly . Directors the exact same from last year. The issue IS the directors and management. Maybe focused for younger kids but the older kids who aren't the kid of a coach, owner, or director are getting squat at every turn.

For the last four years 2024 threads have complained about the same program. Either leave the program or stop complaining about it. I'm tired of hearing the woas of being a part of 91 when you're doing it to yourself. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over.

so true. If you don't do anything to fix it stop complaining. The only time I've heard anything positive out of this team is a few years ago before the good kids jumped ship to legacy and YJ and last year when they had a new coach. You made your bed by staying until your kids 10th grade year blame yourself not the world.

The complaints don’t seem to coming from the current members. It’s somebody trying to stir it up and make the org and new coaches look bad. They have an impressive lineup of directors and coaches that are doing a great job of fixing the past and moving forward.

That’s why we are only in one fall event and the program hasn’t delivered on any of their claims? I am not happy and have made it very clear to others so not sure your opinions is everyone’s

At least one LI 2024 team is heading down to Dallas with an extremely light roster. And playing subpar competition. Not really sure what the point is when the colleges are still focusing on 2023?

Have you been to a recruiting tournament this fall? My daughter had 15 d1 coaches on her sideline at one point this fall. They are onto the 24s and if you are being told otherwise you are being lied to.

light roster= more playing time= more time for coaches to see you.

You must know alot to be able to tell that 15 people on the sideline were coaches from D1 schools......

Not the poster, but typical games where players are being recruited, the people sitting in the designated coaches area, (typically with seats and roped off) all wearing college logo shirts, jackets, hats and carrying clip boards, pretty easy to spot and pretty easy to count. A few years past recruiting age, but at the height of recruiting, my daughters team, as well as most top teams, would have 30-40+ coaches at the games, especially if it were against another top teams.

I’m a different poster, but I’ve been at some of these fall tournaments and the coaches are pretty obvious. They stick together because they know one another and have clipboards. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out who they are.

And yeah, these girls are getting online looks by coaches who are attending these tournaments/showcases.
