Booted, how? Why? Makes no sense.

All their kids are from other teams, hence them being “Nationals”. Club Nationals is a national tourney where nationals teams from all over participate. The 2027 Nationals team didn’t cheat at Club Nationals last year. They don’t have holdbacks. They are just really talented and beat the garbage out of everyone last year. Sad that people can’t digest that, and always make excuses.

Nope. At least one holdback and probably more. One of the 91MD kids is a 2026 playing down on the Nationals 2027. Thanks tho.

He’s a 27 playing up on T91 26 because of how bad the 27s are. Thanks tho.

Good lax at Blandair. 5 of 9 games decided by 3 goals or less.

Madlax Capital, Sidewinders and Mesa all VERY CLOSE Elite- level teams.

Bethesda Blue, VLC and Preds a step below those 3- less size and depth, all will probably end up as AAA-level teams.

Madlax capital and sidewinders 2-0-1
Mesa 2-1
Bethesda Blue and VLC 1-2
Preds 0-3

He's a reclass so chronologically he is a '26, but yes, the 91MD 2027's are terrible.

So your saying because one person reclassed they got kicked out. Wow youth sports. I had not heard of nationals and looked them up on USClub. Looks like they have been around and playing together for 2 years (not some quick all star team) Also according to site played 27 games last year. More then most regional clubs. Maybe the kids play for Nationals and guest play for teams like Hawks, team 91, NL, and crabs......Was any reason given why they got kicked out other then winning?!?!? A national team can't play against other National teams because they are a National team. hmmmm

It means Madlax got significantly worse because their new coach drove away about 8 families. It means Sidewinders got a little better with the addition of a few Hawks 2nd stringers. It means BLC got better with some Next Level and Madlax additions. VLC is still 2nd tier.

Very convenient.

All the teams were missing players. It's soccer tournament season.

Or someone was just pointing out that those scores are all very close. Jury’s still out on these 3 teams, but I think it’s fair to say they are comparable teams based upon the scores yesterday.

Both Bethesda and VLC beat the Predators by 2 scoring late to seal the deal. But the games were back and forth and not decided until the final minute. Not sure if that is good for the Predators or bad for the others.

None of those teams, except for Madlax, are elite. If Madlax really lost a bunch of players then what you have is nothing more than a AAA/AA play day.

Madlax didn't lose any players of significance. The entire starting team returns. And we had a full roster yesterday except for the Sidewinders game. We had a few kids who left early for soccer. Sidewinders played good and we didn't play as good as we should have. Hats off to them. It was a fun day.

Saw a couple of these games waiting for my son to play. The games were played hard and nice sportsnamship by kids and parents on the sidelines. Bravo all. It was a good weekend of competitive lax for the '27 teams. The tourney was a well-run, low-key, fun event. Scorekeepers at every game. Refs were...refs. smile No BS trophies or food vendors. It was all about the kids and fall lax. Good event. Hope we go back next year.

No FCA; Preds playing where they should in 27/28 division; Crabs only going for one day; Crabs and ML not playing each other; southern teams coming up are good but not top teams last year. Madlax would easily beat these teams last year but they had a lot of kids leave. Crabs got better with a bunch of FCA and maybe a couple of others.

FCA doesn’t want to get embarrassed this early in the year. They are not going to be good.

That isnt good to hear. Going to make for some boring banter here. We might actually have to talk about how well these young guys play.

Tough to tell because so many teams were missing players or had kids playing out of position/scheme. Some teams were playing backup goalies. Some were playing LSMs at close, vice versa. Middies playing attack, letting lots of kids try faceoffs, etc. The games were mostly competitive, the kids played hard and seemed to have fun, which was good. My favorite part was seeing many of the kids from different teams talking and playing catch between games, and trading snacks.

Safe to say the 2027 crabs reboot hasn’t worked so far. They apparently looked very rough this weekend. FCA kids ain’t helping. 2027 FCA also going to be decimated. Annapolis Hawks put it on em (for about the 10th time.)

The Hawks had to add some holdbacks. That’s not the same mediocre team that we saw last summer.

Yeah, 2027 Hawks look HUGE. Definitely some holdbacks. They are going to be a problem.

Yup, YOU know what you're talking about.

And this goes for ALL the teams who have played so far:

They are 12 year old kids? Yes?
You saw them in person? No?
It was their first tournament together? Yes?
They had just 4 practices? Yes?
They had a handful of contributors missing? Yes?

Mediocre Hawks team? They lost a handful of games in all of 2021 and suddenly they are mediocre. I'd love my kid to be considered so mediocre. Crabs reboot doesn't help adding the same talent level FCA roster to theirs. It's not like they added the best of FCA, just a bunch of FCA. FCA was very competitive last year after NL, ML and Hawks. Let's see how this weekend goes but losing a bunch and not adding anything will most likely hurt.

Attitude like that will not get it done for D1 future recruits. D2 or D3 is the best you can hope for.

The Crabs team has tons of 13s, not 12. just not good enough.
