Most have already heard this is Igloo. The director waited until he collected their 1st installment before letting people know about the requirement. Yes, NYC requires... however, the director (and everyone else) knew that in advance and chose not to throw it on the parents until afterwards. Then, on top of that, he asked parents to complete a survey asking if they were, weren't or planned to get vaxxed before they start indoor. Vax or no vax (we're vaxxed), it's someone's choice and, if someone hasn't chosen to have their 12-15 kid vaxxed at this point, they shouldn't feel the need to do so for indoor lacrosse training just because its in NYC limits.

They've been practicing same spot for years. You are correct it's a choice. No vax no winter training, it's that simple.

Pretty simple, find a facility outside NYC regulations....

Saw them play at Columbus Day tourney. Decent squad, made up of a bunch of kids from other teams. Recognized a few from Igloo, S2S, and RVC. Seems like it may just be a tournament team or side gig. Definitely some good players but also a few others who may not even get time on B teams.

Like I said in all posts before. We are vaccinated. Have been since the beginning as first responders and essential workers were first to be eligible.

Put on some sweats and practice outside.

A womens lacrosse player lost her life in a "tragic accident" this week. Instead of bashing each other and worrying about the small stuff like rankings, etc... We should take a step back and remember what's truly important.
