So much for being premier

Spoke to a parent from 91 today and his response was "not my decision but why go to Delaware just to get our butts kicked in?" Gotta say I can't blame the team. Either not the most talented team or major coaching errors years ago.

keep talking, will be first soon enough like all the other age divisions

Isn’t Blatant a 91 run tourney?

Their team was gutted due to years of poor coaching decisions and no willingness to admit their mistakes and make changes. That isn’t the fault of those boys. Hopefully last year was a wake-up call for 91 and they made some improvements. Better late than never. Some holdbacks may deliver much needed help. Btw, coming on here and bashing a particular kid in a particular position is the lowest form of intelligence. You clearly lack any self-awareness, so let me tell you this, “You’re a bad person.” Now you know. Feedback is a gift.

Not a 91 parent, but I wish those boys well.

It's football season and lacrosse really doesn't matter right now. Have fun driving, paying the tolls, and sleeping in a bedbug infested filth trap to play boring lacrosse that is only making money off of you for other people. So go exhaust yourself and your kid for a sport that is basically irrelevant in 3/4's of the country.

Agreed, leave the boys out of it! They want nothing more than to play! I do blame the parents for continuing to drink the 91 Kool Aid. Plenty of other good teams to play for. Daddy ball doesn't work well.

Yet here you are, on a lacrosse forum, spending your time talking about it… if you’re not going; why do you care? And if you haven’t been paying attention, lacrosse is exploding across the country.

This is the best!!! What’s even better than the comment above are the super entertaining responses. Fact: the girls love football players for a reason. That ain’t changing…

Hope the Hawks kid makes a quick recovery. Someone said he was back on the sidelines for their last game. Quick turnaround and tough kid!

NO ligament or tendon damage. Knee cap was completely dislocated. Ive never seen a knee cap go that far over on the outside upper portion of the knee. He will be in a brace for awhile and heading for PT

What happened to the Hawks? Haven't seen them give up that many or score so few in a long time.

How did 3D New England keep the games with the Chucks and Upstate so close this weekend? Stack the team with repeats?

91 will not beat the Hawks. 91 will continue to play the B circuit and beat up on weaker teams. They can not and will not compete with the top teams. Bad for the brand to get smoked by the likes of the Tigers, Hawks, Express, 3D, Sweetlax and the list goes on...If hey were that good, they would have been in Delaware this past weekend instead of playing a B tournament on Long Island.

You can stop riding the jock of the Hawks. Pretty obvious that is over now that they need coaching instead of having bigger kids. Facts are facts and it's in the results from the last year. Daddy's boy is done at X

Express and Sweetlax won -give them credit

Hawks had 6 kids not suit up and one taken to the hospital. Let's revisit this post in the spring and summer where tournaments actually mean something. NAL and NLF cant wait

When Hawks are soon forced to play with shot clock wide margin losses will be brutal and every game. Turtle stall ball dont work. Lucky to come in top 5 in HOCO this year.

They played in a B tournament. They definitely did not look like a team that can compete with the top teams. Certainly wouldn't say much improved.

There were A and B levels at that tournament just no AA. They
played in the A bracket and easily destroyed everyone. The team is definitely improved, They recruited and have many new players. No reason to jump into a AA bracket when this would have been the first time the team has played together and kids are still learning the plays etc. Smart move on the coaches decision. They definitely have AA talent. That’s for sure.

FYI - this exact quote was said last year as well (minus the injured boy that i'm sorry to hear about). It was the same results.

It's people like you that perpetuate the need and desire for AA designations. You know what it really means? They'll charge you more money calling something AA for an A level program. Stop calling it AA, A and B. It's A or B, that's it

I just learned that our organization may cancel or modify our winter training due mostly to players vaccination status. The facility happens be in NYC under the mandate. At this age all children are eligible. People are actually angry with the director's for not finding an alternate facility. Too bad. Here's is my 2 cents. Its a choice, yes, but if NYC mandates you must be vaccinated and you are not, than STHU about it and stay home. Those that chose to be vaccinated will be happy to attend with you. Again you made your choice now stop crying about it.

The Trumpers are going to storm your house, lol. I was also shocked at how few kids and parents are vaccinated on our team. Even more puzzling is there are quite a few teachers who refuse to vaccinate. I guess when your idea of a good time is strolling the sidelines of games and practices screaming with red solo cup in hand, being rational is too much to ask.

Hey man, I didn’t come up with these designations. Someone did but it ain’t me. The fact is there are A and B tournaments and AA.

A team 91 parent living in denial! You played in a B Tournament. If you wanted to play in an A Tournament, you would have been in Delaware this weekend! If you are that good, you should have put up 15+ goals per game or more in the tournament you played in. Being ranked #42 as of September 2, 2021 is no threat to anyone. The top teams have no problem playing you and are up to any challenge. That's just how they are. They play whom ever is put in front of them. Until you play a team outside a B bracket and win, best you say nothing! Say less and play more...

Great idea, lets waste an entire weekend driving in/out DE to play a meaningless tournament when half our athletes are still playing football. You've got it all figured out.

Oh, it's the old football excuse....Middle school is Monday-Friday. Many of the boys play both. So obviously the missing kids on your team are hold backs, re-classed or in high school. What was the excuse for the spring season and the World Series. Football!

Nah. Whole team there except for a couple, no reclasses this year. Just a gritty tough team. Gave LIE their only game this weekend and pushed them to the end. Should have beat Sweetlax. Will be a top 4 team next spring and summer.

Not a 91 dad, but I watched the 2026 Team play this weekend. It's a much better team than the spring/summer. They cleaned up against a decent Legacy team, a decent Moose team, and a bad Express team. From what I saw, they are back into the top 3 on Long Island. But they are still nowhere near CoachC 2026. Tough to say how they will fare against the top 10 in the nation, but its an improved team.
