1 - BL- lots returning and defense will get coached up. B st coaching staff in the MIAA
2 - CHC - return of attackman could help but could also hurt. Too many guys want and hold the ball too long. Very selfish team.
3.) McD - still strong starting line up. Bench will be very thin. new freshman not as good as advertised.
4 - Loyola . Despite their terrible head coach and staff, the heavy set coach is a donkey who was a FOGO in college because he couldn’t play in the field, they have talent which will coach themselves with the help of some fathers in the stands. Freshman attackman from last year will really needs to develop both physically an athletically.
5 - AS - still have talent off field BS , whether true or not, will be a distraction .
6 - Gilman - overall still a very young team. All their top offensive players are sophomores. Top goalie, defense will need to get better but will continue to get better through the year. Very unusual team composite…. Sophomore dominate team. No juniors play any significant roles —-a few decent seniors.
New head coach needs to upgrade assistants… especially offensive.

Gilman's best offensive player (Woloson) is a junior, no?

CH
McD
BL
AS
LB
StM

In that order

CH and BL and AS will compete. McD will find a way to lose as they usually do . StM not enough to compete and LB is the usual trainwreck. StP has the Predators a year or two away from competing.

McD plays CH in the final and wins it all. AS finishes at .500 - BL gave the blue print on how to beat them.

We get it, Your son got cut from Spalding due to influx of new players a few years ago. Next year what will you moan about?

I love how butt hurt you get any time someone says something negative about Spawldin' - it makes it fun so thank you for that.

Might want to look in mirror. So obsessed with Spalding. 24/7 LOL

Boom - you roasted me. Is your next come back going to start with 'I'm rubber you're glue... '?

Boo. Spalding ! Spalding ! LOL Relax, only one more year of your pain and then Lids and Company go to college. FYI there is a place like this for college discussion. Try to avoid for your heaths sake.

BL - very good coaching staff but most returning players (outside of 1-2) are not elite
CH - team to beat IMO. Attackman is best in MIAA. Will bring in a few more studs.
McD - best overall returning talent. Need to get the monkey of it's back. Actually think freshmen coming in are far and away the best in the league.
Loy - D will be very good. Has talent to contend but will ultimately fall short.
AS - 2nd or 3rd best returning talent. Will contend and be a tough out.
Gil - 2023 is the year.

Just wait - so many top ranked high school goalies sitting on the bench for 4 years in college. Remember Troutner at St. Marys didn't commit until after senior year and is now the best goalie in professional lacrosse.

Private without any doubt if you are looking to go D1. You can make it in Public, but it is so much harder. Look at MIAA commitments, many arent even that good besides playing in college rule MIAA league. But look how many are committed. And the majority will not see the field in D1.

I have to agree. So many of the MIAA D1 commits are just not that great and won't see the field, but it was worth the cost if you can get admitted to an Ivy or an Academy.

Send him wherever he wants to go-hopefully with his friends and hot chicks. Lacrosse and any other sport he plays will dictate itself. If he his a stud he will make no matter where he goes.

I would say don’t follow any advice from this person.

Maybe he’s got it right? Friends and hot chicks will make for a great college experience! Lacrosse is just a means of getting into one with the hottest chicks… right?! Nothing wrong with that advice. Lol

Hot chicks quickly turn into 2 kids and a vicious divorce. Go for the quality degree at an Ivy or Academy.

Saint Pauls might not be so terrible now that they pulled one of the best coaches in the country out of Towson and have him back working for the school he teaches at.

I feel bad for Towson. Coach Broc made that team one that could beat any one on any given day. Sorry he is stuck at St. P.

The same Coach Broc who was at the helm at SP before Whitty? I hope he brought some transfers.

Time for St P to go back to their weave useless offense that everyone knows. Guy ran the same offense no matter how terrible it was or other team knew it better than his O did.

Only thing that will save St P is that they have the Predators feeding them now. Talk of Baltimore

With Lacrosse becoming popular in FL, GA, CA, TX ,NC the MIAA is slowly losing out to these states in Recruitment and actually playing in D1 . Looking over last years rosters of Final 8 in NCAA playoffs, ND has 1, UVA a 2, Duke 0, NC 6 , Georgetown 4, Rutgers 1 , Loyola 5 and MD has a bunch 7. A few actually start and play but majority ride the bench. MIAA aint what it used to be.

Until St. Paul stops being the snowflake landing spot for lax players they will never compete in MIAA. They need a different quality student body. SOFT

You realize the MIAA is a league, right? 11 teams in the A conference. 26 kids in the final 8 NCAA D1 tourney from one league, not state, is impressive.
