Yes

Isn't the 2026 team coached by the Darien High School coach? He wins the Conn state championship every year. He is really cheating to win middle school summer games? Seems unlikely.

No idea who the coach is. But there were older kids playing for the 2026s at NLF. 99, 15, 20

There was a kid on that team with a beard at NLF. Kids who never played for express north 2026 started showing up. Saw them at NAL in June and different team at NLF. At NAL lost to hawks, BBL, igloo finishing winless in pool play. Barely beat a bad VLC in consolation. I saw that game. I see them again at NLF and now smoking everyone. Don’t know the coach and maybe the HS kids were missing from NAL. Team was also dirty. Lots of late hits and head hunting. Parents were cheering for that stuff. Coach knows what kind of product he put on field

The kids on the team know, the parents on the team know, opposing coaches know, opposing kids know, the tournament organizers know. There was an attempt to just sweep it under the rug, to save the reputations of the club and tournament organizers. But it was just too obvious and too many people know too much. The coach has sacrificed any semblance of reputation for a 7th grade lacrosse win.....

There is a difference between kids who were required to play with the U14 at the World Series but who are still 26s (like the kids listed above) and kids which are 25 grad years but playing with the 26s. Yes lacrosse should require that kids get "carded' to play for their specific club, limit or eliminate guest players and have age based and not graduation based teams like almost every other youth sport. However, it does not. So can we all stop complaining about holdbacks and talk about the sport and not whine on about holdbacks. It is getting old.

These were not "holdbacks". These were kids starting 9th grade this year. Flat out cheating. There was another kid that played 2025 all year, reclassed 1 day before NLF, and then played 2026. Call that what you will (cheating or creative rostering). But they outright used 2025 players that did not reclass to 2026 from both their club and other clubs. Common knowledge, any attempt to deny is just trying to cloud the issue that they cheated......

It seems like the discussion is around non-holdbacks playing down a year. That is different than holdbacks.

Based on the above and NLF championship seems like you left out Express North. Not very well played.

Wouldn't an asterisk next to them be more appropriate?

East coast elite has a decent team. Alot of the outlaw kids went to mooselax so they will be much improved. I don’t know the east coast elite coaches to well. Mooselax guys seem pretty good and straightforward. Mooselax practices mostly north shore Huntington area. I believe east coast elite is more out east. Best of luck.

East Coast is a town team at best IMHO ..worse then daddy ball it’s PAL ..Mooselax very similar but they try to recruit talent outside of the town ..play for igloo B ..Two great HS coaches ..or Express B , St Anthony’s head coach..

02 birthday in October is correct for most of the country. NY is one of the few states where the cutoff for entering school is December. Most states are September. So most of the kids with September through December of 02 are just entering freshman year

Express teams are already rostered. I would do Moose over East Coast. Moose is a solid B and should be much improved with the addition of a few Outlaws kids.

Those teams are already set. Tryouts were weeks ago for those teams. Moose directors are good solid guys who seem to care about the kids. Just my opinion.

I don't know but Mooselax lost a game to the Rebels who in turn lost to East Coast who in turn also beat Igloo B team..Unless they posted scores in error on Youth lax rankings.. They are all really solid B teams along with Turtles and Empire..

I heard from a friend that team 91 has a new head coach this year. Can anyone confirm this? Would be a good move in my opinion. I like their current 2 coaches as people but they need a leadership change at 2026.

Please don’t choose a B team by the rankings. Inquire about coaching and what you get for your money . Stay away from Rebels, 91, Rush and Empire in my opinion.

Best bang for your buck at all those teams is the Turtles . About 4/5 practices in already. Coach is very very committed.

SMH, too bad they are talking about the 2022 graduating class. So yes, he will turn 19 soon, in the fall of his SR HS year. Then 20 as a college freshman.

They're terrible and they have a daddy coach that makers all the plays go through his son.

That's who I heard was going to coach. I don't know anything about player additions but he's a solid tough coach. That alone should improve them a little.

Correct me if I’m wrong. But aren’t the other 2 coaches dads? If so daddy ball is still alive and well.

I'm correcting you. Your wrong. SL doesn't take any BS and will play the best players and workers. And the two you mention are not some PAL dads as assistants. A college coach and the other is an NCAA champ.
