I’ll say it. The UA tryouts we’re pretty disorganized. Before last years waste of time there were 20 local HS, College coaches/players doing the evaluations. You got a mix of local talent from all towns and clubs. Yesterday we had just the club coaches coaching the command/highlight teams, some local club coaches and JS. At least JS actually watched the games, but several games were played with no evaluators on the sidelines? What did they debate during their assessment period? This was not as bad as the American Select or NY regional tryouts but pretty bad. The only thing these event organizers do well is take our money. Great concepts with big name sponsors just run poorly by the revolving door of club directors putting their own stamp on someone else’s “tryout”.

Should be interesting to see what happens with Rosters because so many girls here already were rostered and paid their $600 for the AS event that happens on the same days.

Yes, interesting. So many kids already paid for AS, but tried out for UA and willing lose that money if they make it? Seems a little desperate. If you believe what’s written on here UA was such a joke, yet record number of kids showed up to try out. Seems like UA is still the place to be.

Yes I believe the American select will be the new top dog! I don’t know how other regions are running under armor but Long Island lost all credibility last year with bs evaluations/selections.

American Select allowed the Florida Select 2022 team to represent the Florida region at that age group. Not a single other player made the team. American Select has all the same problems as the UA event. Some, like this one, are glaringly worse.

Believe AU is the Athletes Unlimited, the new womens league. They have a teams scheduled to play next week also.

Lost all credibility and then those same evaluators went and started American select and ran it the same way they did Under Armor last year
