Are you saying BBL, Jersey Express, Black Ops and Eclipse are on age? And Igloo, 3D, LXC and Primetime aren’t? Or is this your ranking even if they don’t have their older kids. BBL and Jersey have had older players show up. Not sure about that Igloo one…saying they have older players and are top 10 because of it? Primetime does have some suspect players.

Isn't Primetime from LI? LI doesn't have older players!
Think they're more Westchester/CT based... not LI.

On age top 10 are based on the teams that went to World Series
The other list includes all 2026 teams

Then it makes no sense. Igloo, for example, is on age. So they’re in your top 10 for any age…but not for on age, even though they are, because they didn’t make WSYL? Why don’t you just say too 10 that made WSYL and the top 10 regardless?

check the stats-- express spread the ball around all wsyl. tigers rely on the big guy and once he draws the d a couple other kids can score.

VLC parent here and we have played all three above. All of them like us move the ball. Variation comes from young lacrosse and agree on LI Express but have seen Sweetlax almost win against them many times and Tigers have beat them a lot so it really comes down to the day maybe? Best part is these games are so fun and Hawks are also very good and they are successful many times. VLC matches up best against Sweetlax and we have a harder time against the other two.

Tigers on age is no match for Express. Sweetlax was a great game on age. Hawks on age couldn’t even make it to the dance. Bottom line…..Express is on age everytime they play. I’m not sure that can be said for the other teams.

Tigers coach will reclass his kid to keep up with the competition. Can't compete otherwise. Tigers will become tigers 27 or be a two grade team. That's why they are keeping a lot of 27s and looking for 27 goalie. Wait and see.

Agree Hawks are not that good. Defense was weak and they relied heavily on one to two players. Expect Hawks to continue losing big games.

Who is going to NLF? Laxchusetts will be there to take all of these on all of these age teams, hold back teams and everything in between. All I have seen so far was that the Hawks will be there. Who else is coming up?

Prime Time Invitational this weekend has a very good group of teams. LI Express CoachC, 3d NE Red, Towermen, LXC Black, BBL Black, PrimeTime, Igloo, 2Way, Express North. For a 12 team field, it's about as good as it gets.

Tryout season and outside of all the silly rumors generated by competitors in tryout season the Hawks will get the best d guys and be back in first soon. The coach is a former division one player he knows the drill.

All of these teams work hard. I am sure the Hawks do too. Seen them play for years, they clearly have talent. There will continue to be parity at the top of 2026. We should be glad, it makes the tournaments more fun.

At this age coaching is paramount. The athletic advantages are way less impactful and not nearly as pronounced. Coaching, teamwork and familiarity lead the way.

Upswing??? The team went 1-4 in pool play and lost to a team from California. Now that the World Series is over Spallina and his machine kids will go back to machine. Without them they wouldn’t have even qualified. This team will continue to move in a downward trend.

Spallina goes back to coaching his 27s and gearing them for nexts years WSYL. The real 26 team goes down the toilet unless they get betters players and do something with coaching. None of those 26 kids are happy they had younger kids outplaying them at WSYL. More will leave and that team will hope to be a B level group.

I can confirm that atleast several kids were not happy about being replaced by 2027’s at the WS and a few tournaments. I don’t believe they will play with them after this month as they get ready for next years WS. A few parents talking about moving on and I can’t blame them.

Agree at NLF looked much better.
And not 2027's were there or at Lax Fest.

They went 2-3 at NLF and 3-3 at laxfest. Team is what it is at this point. Will beat all the B teams and lose to the better AA teams

Beating all b teams and losing to AA teams means you are a B team.

3 Daddy coaches and the team went in the tank?
