Dean Metzger from Carey High School Earns Week #7 Boys' High School Player of the Week

The #26 Ranked Junior on Long Island committed to play for the Providence College Friars in 2 years helped Carey HS to advance to the Nassau County Class B Championship after knocking off Long Beach in the Quarter Finals with his 5 point performance (a hattrick and a pair of assists) and after putting up half of the teams points with 4 goals and 2 assists in the semis against No.2 MacArthur. Metzger has played stellar all season long and is a consistent, evenly balanced midfielder who contributed 28 goals and 21 assists this year so far and has earned BOTC Week #7 Player of the Week honors voted upon by our staff.
