They are all on the same level. Not one better than the other. In other words, they can all beat each other and play at a high level. So all good. Watch as these kids mature and they will all be on the same level with all (91, Igloo, etc) in two years.

Tied Preds? That is a sure sign that you are not good. This was the bracket of wanna he’s. Rush maybe can play up. Regulators who knows what you get day to day. Preds and TB are B programs that once had good older classes but are a joke at younger ages. Rebels have best parents but not even sure how to classify them as I wouldn’t ever worry about playing them or joining them.

Best coaching is Regulators, Igloo and Rush in the grade. Igloo

Rebels have come long way. Maybe not with express and 91, but can beat any other team. Also where missing 5 kids to injuries last weekend. 2025 in general is loaded with talent.

Rush haven’t played anyone for what I can see on the US Club Lax rankings - hopefully this summer they play in some of the elite tournaments so we can get a look.

Wow, 5 kids to injury at the start of the season.......though it doesn’t really matter as the team is 1 player.....and a whole lot of special moms. We go to Rebels games when we arent playing them for entertainment....never disappoints.

Coaching? Regulators hardly ever practice together since most of them play elsewhere and only come together for tournaments. Igloo? They are all about drafting the next big thing. Rush? Who ever sees them together. 91 and Express are at the top for a reason. Consistent product, proven coaches. Sure an outlier wins every now and than but that is the beauty of youth sports. Come HS nobody is touching the big 2. All the people hating on LIE wait until the "small" kids go through puberty. Take a look at your sidelines and parents, they're already the same size.

The Regs coach is good. Any thoughts on the Rebels coaches? They seem to pay more attention to the refs then they do their team...

Regs and Rebels coach both alittle crazy but good people and coaches. Both very impressive where they have came from.

so laxachusetts wins the NLF without a loss. game has changed, better athletes starting to play. days of average athlete with better coaching and environment dominating are numbered...

They are really good. Probably a top 5 team. Lots of practice. Top coaching. Fine by me. I’ll take that what happened.

The team was only able to add one impact player in the last two years and now they lack depth.

Whoever wins the NAL this weekend is unofficial #1 team. That’s the best lineup of teams in a while.

It looks like True Blue is just looking to win tournaments again this weekend. Not a lot of great teams at the Long Ireland tournament.

Why the detest on True Blue? NLF is a top tournament with A teams from all over. Maybe TB realizes they are not at that level and would prefer to play a local B tournament. You worry about your program and stop obsessing over TB. Let us know how the NJ traffic is after coming back and sitting with beach goers.

They showed last week they should consider competing vs better teams.

Kids will enjoy playing a local lax tournament. Parents will enjoy watching. Then maybe enjoy the weekend, BBQ, beach, whatever. Yet some people just seem to get angered that other people enjoy this. Why is that?

Have to join weak tournaments to allow time for all 30 kids to see the field.

Yes they tied rebels better team 5-5….. TB is improving !!!

TB should have won. There were 2 bad penalties at the end of game and were down 2 guys. Other than that, a really good showing overall. Growth and improvement is the name of the game

I did notice when we played them a lot of kids see limited time.

What happened to Igloo this weekend?

The Garden City town team BEAT the preds...and only lost by one to the rush. Regulators looked good....rebels parents won the whole thing

Every team is carrying 30 kids. Difference is, some teams don't care and only play 15 kids. They'll put in a 2nd line of offense or D and the minute someone makes a mistake they yank the entire line off the field. Great confidence builder for 8th graders.

Why substitute? I mean, 14 year olds cant run an entire game in 90 degree heat? And besides, not having good rotations seems to work for all the clubs that arent winning, right?

Look it up on tourney machine. They lost, as usual.

I guess they didnt have their one scoring option.

They went 3-2 and were the only team to beat the Hawks. I would say they are a pretty good team. And I would say there is the a lot parity at the top on this age right now.
