Alec Gregorek from Shoreham Wading River HS Earns Week #6 Boys' High School Player of the Week

The 20th Ranked Sophomore on Long Island has been a dominating force for Shoreham since he has been an 8th grader helping the Wildcats to win the NY State Championship and he seems to shine towards the playoffs and in the biggest moments. This past weekend, Alec Gregorek helped Shoreham Wading River to 3 wins with putting up 2-four goal games, 5 assists and a hattrick in the matter of 6 days. Against rival Mt. Sinai led by the #1 junior in the country Joey Spallina, Gregorek dropped 4 goals including the game winner in OT helping the Wildcats to a 13-1 overall record and the top seed heading into the playoffs. With the Sophomores performance this past week putting up 16 points and moving up to be one of the Top 20 leading point scorers in Suffolk County with 55 points, Alec has earned BOTC Week #6 Player of the Week honors voted upon by our staff.
