Define "this year" and "new teams", do you mean teams that have never had a 2027 team?

watched the game on youtube. professional performance by M&D who were clearly better team. Trying to understand how that Eagle Stix team handled those NY, PA and CT teams. Can't remember monster purple losing a team at any level 15-2.

This all won’t matter once they get to HS. I can’t believe how blown up this NGLL finals are on my IG feed. Please, stop spamming CR!

And HS won't matter once your in college, and college won't matter once you're in the real world. We get it. Let the middle school parents enjoy the NGLL, also, stick to the HS threads if you don't want to discuss middle school teams.

Kudos to M&D, represented the mid-atlantic well.

Thank you for the above and congratulations to all the local teams on this list. Is there another link as the one attached isn’t working for me. And does anyone know who are the number 4 and 5 teams?

Try this

https://www.USCL.com/rank?y=2020&alpha=N&v=2027

4) NXT is out of Philly area. They play BLC, Integrity and MDUnited this Saturday so we will know a lot more about them.

5) Madskillz, out of South Florida. Played M&D tight in the NGLL National playoffs.

Where are the Long Island teams? Yellow Jackets? Jesters? Seems they will make it to the top-10 very shortly.

Was wondering where the NY teams were as well. Hero’s plays YJ, CT Grizzlies, and Aces this weekend, so we should see how they stack up then.

Renegades 27. Show a little more class on your social media posts. Bragging about “dominating” 17-0 against a new team who only scored 9 goals all day. Your team has been there before and will likely be there again if you ever step up to a stronger division in a more challenging tournament. Obviously that team isn’t a rival, so hopefully you let of the gas a little like requiring a couple passes, no fast breaks, flipping your D to attack, or switching to non-dom hands.

They’ve clearly been on the side of being dominated as recently as March. Bet they weren’t bragging and taking pics of the scoreboard when dropping three games 2-8, 0-16, & 1-11.

Where are they posting about that "bragging" etc? Renegades is welcome to play those A teams, but they won't like the outcome.

Instagram account, with team gathered around the scoreboard to show how much they dominated another team, in a tournament that doesn't even have a championship, ie, where you play everyone and work on things, not try to win.

I think one thing we can conclude with M&D winning National NGLL and Hero's winning this tournament with all the big NY NJ clubs, MD A NGLL teams are some of the best nationally and playing in that during spring is big advantage for all teams.

You'd have to put Yellow Jackets there in top-4 Nationally, Aces Elite up there as well.

LBC with a great showing this weekend, beating both MDU and Coppermine. Maybe underrated.

That post is not a good look. Renegades isn't even playing in Live love lax this weekend, talk about an over inflated ego.

What does not playing in Live Love Lax have to do with anything? Over inflated ego? May not be a good look, but maybe the coaches were happy for the girls because they played well and that's why they won. Agreed that posting a pic of the score board was a little much, unfortunately there are a lot of parents out there that think destroying a team like that is worth bragging about.

It means they're opting for less competition. Not that they'd be put in an A bracket anyway, but the better teams tend to play in Live Love Lax.

Great, they can celebrate on their own and not post a scoreboard in their social media post from their team page (its not like it came from a coach or team parent). As said above, maybe they should play the A teams next time and see how that goes. There definitely won't be any postings though after those results. And not playing in Live love lax means you aren't stepping up to play the better teams out there.

The pic being discussed was put on the Renegades Lacrosse Club page, so it most certainly was posted by an adult. No child is running a clubs Instagram page just an FYI. Was it in bad taste, yes...but question is, why does this bother you so much? If your daughter doesn't play for them, why be so concerned/offended by it? Let them enjoy the win - it's not the worst thing that clubs have posted.

Posting a pic and saying they had a great day is one thing. Holding up the scoreboard showing 17-0 is an entire other thing. It's completely obnoxious. Nothing wrong with being proud of the girls, but show some class.

Sounds like a Renegades parent defending bad behavior. Of course the IG page isn't run by a child but it's posted on the Team's official IG page, no need for an FYI lol. It wasn't on some random parent's IG page. It should bother anyone with a daughter playing on any team, especially those younger, non established teams or developmental teams etc. Enjoy the win against a club's B team? I guess if that's how you think.....

They don’t go to more competitive tournaments because the Renegades and Rebels director owns Thinklax tournaments and those teams always have to go there. Not the big draw

Not always. But often. This weekend's thinkLax tournament had through high school but all Rebels and Renegades teams 24 and older were at live, love, lax. And other than 2025s, summer genesis (25s and older) and summer genesis origins (25s and younger) alternate weeks with lax for the cure. So the teams go there as well.

And when they go they never play A Level. Rengegades won most of the youth divisions, but never in the A group. They played in the A group for 26 level and went 0-4 with all games but one being a blow out.

Looks like MD teams really held their own against the NJ, NY PA teams.

BLC and Coppermine both had great weekends. NGLL A league is toughest competition in country, based on these results.

Seems that the typical power house teams of LI Top Guns, Monsters and CT Grizzles aren't strong in the 2027 age group.

Yellow Jackets, Aces Elite seem to be very good.

Lax for Cure is another big weekend of MD vs the world. I fully expect for MD to hold its own.

Aces Elite and Yellow Jackets A are the top NY teams I would say. M&D plays both.

What I learned from Cure. M&D is the clear #1 with Hero’s #2 and Maryland Lacrosse the best in the country. Aces and BLC are right behind both of them and hard to tell who is better since they didn’t play. Remember BLC only loss to M&D and Hero’s. After those 4 there is a big gap between the rest. Coppermine looked good the week before but obviously are not ready for this next level after this weekend. YJ, Monsters and Grizzlies are back there with Coppermine. Not sure why NEMS was not playing with the others but did help help their cause against MD United in the brackets. Speaking of MD United they are not there either.

How do you put the CT Grizzles anywhere with Yellow Jackets or Monsters for that matter?

Agree on Aces and BLC, but BLC has several one goal wins, including against NXT, Coppermine, MD United, NEMS.

What happened to Coppermine during Impulse Lax and Lax for Cure?
Are they not playing with a full team? They seemed great at Live Love Lax. Scores don't make sense.

Can’t say what happened as I don’t know much about Coppermine but 4 of those 5 losses were against the three best teams in the country- twice to M&D, Hero’s and BLC. They seem good just not at that top level yet. Curious what changes with all teams after tryouts. Does M&D go to two teams? Will some middle level teams pick up those 2 or 3 players that allow them to compete for the NGLL championship? Will Hero’s get better than they already are? We’ll see after tryouts and Mid-Atlantic.
