The thing thing special about Team Spallina is he beats selfish play out of them. The parents are cowed. Unlike most teams where parents are telling Little Suzy to "go to goal!", on Spallina's team the parents are afraid to open their mouths. So yes, they are on another level but it's not because of any particular talent the girls have. JS could take a bag of gummy bears and coach them to win. Each one would stick to a different tooth in your mouth.

When they get to their high school team I'll give even odds that at least half will do more harm than good. Mom and Dad will finally have an outlet to tell them "Go to goal! You play for Spallina. Your coach doesn't know what he's doing!"

8th grade and have not played a real tournament since 2019.There are going to be 12 very upset families when they do play because they will never touch the field.

likely true for most teams, but not this one. their coach will do whatever it takes to develop or acquire the required talent to prevent that from ever happening. maybe some one down south will run with them on a given day, but no one locally can hang with them.

This summer will tell a lot about many of the teams. I believe the gap will get smaller between many of the top teams. There will be some movement after this summer for sure. seeing that nobody was able to move this past year due to Covid. It is really Janelli, TG, Lomo and maybe legacy. After that the other teams just do not match up. Jesters at this age is not very talented and either is Elevate. If Janelli or TG add a few top players, they are not that far away.

The TG rumor has subsided for the time being, purportedly because the phantom girls in question were outed and have circled the wagons. My guess is it was rumor started by a jealous parent (or two) who believes their daughter is "on another level" and little Sally should be playing ahead of said phantom girl, since she was a fourth grade stand out and all...
