I AGREE 100% with this assessment. ALL the girls on these 3 teams will be able to play high level college lacrosse if they so choose. There are very good players being developed all over the country. Coaches don't look at the LI players so quickly anymore, unless you are a YJ. I am not putting down the other clubs, just saying that College coaches want to grow the game and are looking at midwest, TX, CA and will take those girls if equal to LI girls to do so. So you may be surprised that the offers aren't as you think they will be. Completely not true. If your a great player from Long Island the chips will fall correctly 95 percent of the time. If your not a great player you won’t get recruited no matter where you live. But to say coaches are trying hard to not recruit from Long Island is just silly. Who said coaches are trying hard not to recruit from Long Island? If you're a great player? Are all three teams filled with all great players? Read the thread again.

Do you think they are going to not take the best players. Geez.

All things being equal, a coach will hide behind the fact that a recruit played for the YJ's but good players always seem to make it. heck even clubs like the Wave used to get their best girls recruited

When watching the YJ 2022 team didn’t realize the best player was from Minn. Is she actually the best player or is it just a good story? She's without a doubt the best athlete on the field. and probably in the entire 22 class. There may be a couple girls with slightly better stick skills, but here athleticsm really isn't matchable. Also, she just recovered from an ACL injury in the fall season so she is still nowhere near 100%.

I dont like any kid getting singled out but when you put yourself out there as she is doing ( which she has the right to do) you can expect to ruffle some feathers.. but this is patently false "She's without a doubt the best athlete on the field. and probably in the entire 22 class. 2022 team, another year when the entire YJ Blue team is recruited and even a good number of the 22 B team as well to high level academic and lacrosse schools. CR's girls get multiple options. those are the facts. This is the only team in the age group this year sending multiple players to each military academy, multiple to Yale, multiple to Duke and Stonybrook and North Carolina and Maryland. Entire team has already received multiple offers and been recruited because everyone played equally at tourneys and given great recruiting advice. TG usually gets half the roster recruited, you have to feel bad for families that spend their entire time and money summers for years to know they made a mistake staying and drinking the Kool aid. Next year you will see the same thing, just like you did last year, and the year before that and the year before that. how many times do you have to see the same story before you understand that colleges trust the YJ track record. that is why their girls gets recruited at higher rates. The girl from Minn is a nice kid and a good athlete.

False statement the entire Blue team is not committed. Looks like Top Guns have multiple commits to Northwestern, commits to Hopkins, Dartmouth, Notre Dame, Richmond, Loyola I feel sorry for those Kool Aid drinking parents. Lol.

I personally know one player, a starter who is not committed, and very upset! Please stop!

Then you're going to see upset.

You mean the 2023 #1 ranked team in the USA? They will be just fine. Your jealousy at this stage-of-the-game is pathetic. What was just a phrase that you have used over& over is obviously a deflection & reflection of you-A personal “Dumpster Fire”. I bet as we take inventory of YOU-that what we’ll see 🔥

Read it again - does not say entire team is committed, says recruited and received multiple offers.
