its not a disguise, its about protecting the cash hidden in the hive from potential lawsuits.
All the players reguistered as individuals as opposed to the team registering. The YJ corp can disavow knowledge of any "team" traveling out of state to play in tournaments.

Yet again, CR impresses me with her business acumen. She completely dodged the liability bullet. My daughter hasn't been at YJ for years but she never ceases to impress me.

Please a half competent lawyer could get around that. It’s silly.

Maybe, but this move allowed the YJ to travel this fall. The Club stayed home this summer and made the best of it but it wasn’t the same as facing the Md & Va teams

Just like the sign on the back of the hotel door that say their not liable for you property or these waivers we sign to go to the tournaments that aren't worth the paper they are written on.

YJ Swarm Blue 23 #1 in country
YJ Spallina 25 #1 in country.
Not a bad fall for CR

In the fall with no draws I guess CR will take what she can get at this point.

YJ Spallina #1 is as undeniable as YJ Swarm Blue 23 is laughable. The laughing stock of the organization even with a few very recent wins.

Wrong- there were draws at Mid Atlantic. YJ Swarm (Thorn/Colbert) went Undeafeted in 2020 and after merger last fall. Now 13-0-2 with the two ties where Grizzlies and M&D scratches back to get the tie.
This 23 team is laughable in the sense that WE are laughing at all the other teams because...He who laughs last, laughs BEST. Here we are, approaching next Fall recruiting time and YJ is #1. No further discussion.

I can’t argue with that logic because they are FACTS.
TG is injured but still #2 on LI and top 5 overall.
Legacy 3 on Long Island and Top 10 overall.
Very impressive to have 3 teams in 23 in the top 10 in the country.

I AGREE 100% with this assessment. ALL the girls on these 3 teams will be able to play high level college lacrosse if they so choose.

There are very good players being developed all over the country. Coaches don't look at the LI players so quickly anymore, unless you are a YJ. I am not putting down the other clubs, just saying that College coaches want to grow the game and are looking at midwest, TX, CA and will take those girls if equal to LI girls to do so. So you may be surprised that the offers aren't as you think they will be.

Completely not true. If your a great player from Long Island the chips will fall correctly 95 percent of the time. If your not a great player you won’t get recruited no matter where you live. But to say coaches are trying hard to not recruit from Long Island is just silly.

The statement about LI girls getting recruited if they are on YJ doesn't hold true to the 2022 age group. TG had a better recruiting class and YJ Blue still has players that haven't been recruited.
