My son's take on the teams he played: LE not in the right bracket; Sweetlax most skilled players, but not as tough as others in some spots; Jersey Exp very physical and cocky but in a good way for them; Prime Time no idea how they got to championship, should get crushed by sweetlax and Jersey Express.

So apparently head to head matchups don’t matter lol. Sweetlax has beaten the Tigers, PT and Madlax easily this year and has beaten LIE as well, but LIE has beaten them twice, which puts express ahead for now. Either way, this will continue to play out (hopefully) into 2021 and until any of these other teams can beat express or sweetlax, the conversation stops there.

Sweet Lax dad can you go back to your board? No one cares what you have to say as you are from an irrelevant part of NY. This is a LI board. Oh and your team stinks.

It's not a LI board and you're simply another keyboard warrior that has trouble with basic facts. The Sweetlax team has only lost to the Annapolis Hawks and LIE since last fall... all of which were very close games. The team is very good and certainly deserving of its ranking. In fact, they've beaten the following top 25 ranked teams; 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 21, 22, and 23. So call it for what it is and don't forget that the unless your kid plays for the Hawks or LIE, you haven't beaten them. Lastly, these games are played by 12/13 year old boys and not keyboard warriors. Stick to facts and I hope you help your son understand the importance of competing on the field vs. hiding behind a desk.

The last tournament that had the largest selection of top 2026 teams was the National Lacrosse Federation Club Nationals tournament July 2019 at UMASS. Sadly due to COVID19 there was not another tournament this Summer or Fall that had such a large number of the best teams across the country. Sweetlax lost to Madlax in the semis. Tommyknockers lost to Laxachusetts in the semis. Laxachusetts was the champ. LI Express and Express North only made the quarterfinals. https://tourneymachine.com/Public/R...ivision=h20190705131730309e8c662c045fe43

Not a valid argument. A lot changes in a year, more hold backs are added to teams this Fall.

Agreed....sweet lax and express had a mutual respect for each other when they played . No express parent would say that sweetlax stinks . Well after the game the kids from both teams were talking to each other as two teams who respected each other and felt like they were the best teams there . Why this conversation has to go into the gutter is anyone’s guess

So they are just hanging out in Massachusetts and not playing good teams for the last 16 months because no tournaments meet their standard of competition? All of the other top teams (except Colorado) were out playing one another this summer. Not going to get better just playing NE Twisters and 4Leaf Army.

Please. All of those teams were at NAL this summer. FCA, Sweetlax, Bethesda, BBL, Madlax, LI Express, Express North, Legacy, Hawks, Primetime, Tigers, Towerman. That's the entire top ten of 2026 minus the Colorado teams.

I saw Tommyknockers all over Instagram with their big win in Raleigh. LOLOLOL. Is there any reason they could not come up North and play real teams. All those highlights look awesome playing midwest schlubs. Why can't they play against real competition.

Not sure which team you are from but Tommyknockers is a legit top 5 team. Don’t know how many hold backs they field but they pass extremely well and their D is strong. I would like to see them play Hawks, it would be a great game.

LI Express and Express North only made the quarterfinals. https://tourneymachine.com/Public/R...ivision=h20190705131730309e8c662c045fe43

Please. All of those teams were at NAL this summer. FCA, Sweetlax, Bethesda, BBL, Madlax, LI Express, Express North, Legacy, Hawks, Primetime, Tigers, Towerman. That's the entire top ten of 2026 minus the Colorado teams.

Like the Colorado teams, Laxachusetts hasn't played many competitive teams in the last year.

I saw Tommyknockers all over Instagram with their big win in Raleigh. LOLOLOL. Is there any reason they could not come up North and play real teams. All those highlights look awesome playing midwest schlubs. Why can't they play against real competition.

If you're flying to the east coast, why go play Team 91 Carolina, Krakens, VLC, and Shamrocks when you had a Saturday and Sunday in PA & MD where you could have played some of the top 2026 teams?

Not sure which team you are from but Tommyknockers is a legit top 5 team. Don’t know how many hold backs they field but they pass extremely well and their D is strong. I would like to see them play Hawks, it would be a great game.

Then why go to that NC tournament? Sounds like they had a decent summer in 2019. I have never seen them play. Will they be in the WSYL? Or do they have too many older kids? At NLF club championships they beat Big 4 HHH (20-0, classy), team 91 LI, and 2 different Express north teams by 3 & 4 goals. Then lost to Laxachusetts in the finals. I would think that the top NY or MD team that regularly plays top competition would handle them.

The videos online of TommyKnockers is laughable. Looks like you are playing rec league teams[/quote]

The facebook post highlight from Sunday sure looks like they are playing vs rec teams.

What top teams have Tommy knockers beaten to back up your claim that they are a top 5 team? I know that US Club lacrosse has them and whoever the Kings are at 3 & 4 but I dont see how they are there when you look at the teams they play.

Tommycockers might be lightening force that brings long island together, team that beats them 15-0 is king of the island for a week.
