Hawks / Crabs game was good - Battle of the Holdbacks There are 9 kids on the Crabs walking in to the same grade this year as they did last year. That is a complete embarrassment. They better win everything for those parents to sell their souls that badly. If this confirmed? I heard that Bethesda's roster is nearly 1/2 holdbacks. If so, they may need a few more.

What happened to BLC? Please don't say injury's. This used to be one of the top teams around. Not a BLC parent and I did not see the games, but I don't think anything "happened" to BLC. They went 0-3 against Hawks, Crabs, and Looneys, one of which has always been dominant, and two of which became dominant this fall due to roster upgrades. All three would be in the top 6-7 nationally (if not higher) if a new ranking were done today. Aside from Looney's one goal loss to VLC yesterday, I don't think that Hawks, Crabs, or Looneys have lost a single game to anybody besides each other since their fall upgrades. Bethesda (who does have some injuries, by the way, ) is a legitimate top 10-15 team nationally, but there is no shame nor surprise that Bethesda played those three teams in one day and went winless.

VLC kids played strong against Loonies. They knew Loonies would be tough competition. Then took it easy on Mesa thinking it was an easy win. I think VLC beat them by 8 goals in Summer Exposure. Got a wakeup call there. Crabs FoGo is a good player. Not a holdback. #21 and #50 are new. Holdbacks maybe? Regardless, they are a good team and will be tough competition for everyone in coming seasons.

Anyone who has not played the Crabs this fall is in for a surprise. They are not the same team from last year. They added a handful holdbacks from the 2025 Crabs team. The fact that the Hawks beat them without much of a roster change speaks volumes to the Hawks team. It was a good game. It was a game people around watching were commenting about. It was a physical. If your team is set up to play the Crabs, you should be prepared, they lost 2 face offs, max. Thanks Crabs f/o dad. Everyone who watched them play in the fall league knows they added 2025 players from the their own 2025 team. Gotta do what ya gotta do to win. For what it is worth, I spoke in the parking lot briefly with the Crabs f/o Dad and the player after my son's team played against them and he did not seem the type to come on this board and brag about his son's f/o accomplishments. I could be totally wrong but I am generally a good judge of stuff like that. I would hope most Crabs parents leave the field and parking rather quickly to avoid the embarrassment of having themselves and their kids running in to the team they played for the previous year or other 2025 parents asking what the heck they are doing on a 2026 team. That has to be one awkward conversation to have!!

If your team is set up to play the Crabs, you should be prepared, they lost 2 face offs, max. I did not see much in terms of physicality in this game. Well played lacrosse and the FO kid for crabs is good but is gassed by the 2nd half; they need a #2 FO to win games like this. Hawks defense is surprisingly small and if the crabs had any talent on attack outside of #50 they would have won this game. #21 on crabs is their only real threat up top. Hawks goaltending is very good; but weak at defense otherwise. They have a couple of big attackman but I was surprised they had trouble running past a very slow crabs defense. What makes hawks better than other teams is they simply do not drop the ball and turn it over. They are very good at getting the lose ball leading to more possessions and their midfield my be the best around; very good ball movement. Hawks is clearly the #1 team but the gap is definitely closing. For 12-13 year old 7th graders they are pretty big for on age. Now for the 14-15 year old 7th graders that Crabs has yes the look pretty small. Facts Has anyone seen the Looney's 3 defenders this Fall? They're all over 6 foot and I am supposed to believe these kids are on age? It is an absolute joke what youth lacrosse has turned in to!!!

Bethesda is not setup for team lacrosse. A lot of selfish players on the team. Talented..but not TEAM players.

Funny I haven't heard much from the 91 parents today. I am waiting to hear the excuses for going 2-2 up in Philly.

This is getting boring. Does anybody have new and interesting topics and please not holdbacks? Fall HOCO tourney schedule is live. Crabs get their shot at Rage and his Delusional followers. Okay, now I’m confused. Isn’t Rage referring to the Hawks coach? Hawks aren’t playing fall HoCo. Fall tourney. Maryland Fall Tournament. They are there and will get beat by Crabs. Good morning Crabs daddy.....

Spoke the Crabs FoGo dad at a different tournament. Seemed like a good guy and good kid. Don't think he is the one bragging. We all see who are good players in the field. #13 is a good player. Just like #22 at BLC, #5 and #22 of Hawks etc.

Then took it easy on Mesa thinking it was an easy win. I think VLC beat them by 8 goals in Summer Exposure. Got a wakeup call there. Guess VLC coaches have a reading comprehension problem. MESA (PA) didn't play in Summer Exposure. VLC played Mesa Futures Orange 2026 (Severna Park, MD), basically a rec team, in Summer Exposure.

Crabs beat them 12-5 and Loonies beat them 9-3. MESA (PA) is not at par with the rest competing here.
