I think he on to something here! set up a practice stick with this shaft and do wall ball a couple of times a week... should definitely get you stronger... I wish I would have thought of it1

When I was a kid I just filled the shaft with sand. And the sand was free! I did it for my son too.

When I was a kid I just filled the shaft with sand. And the sand was free! I did it for my son too. The problem with this approach is that it creates uneven balance in the shaft - the Power Shaft is a seperate training tool which does not force the user to disturb his or her game-time equipment.

BOTC met with the Power Shaft team and Tom Rotanz during this last weekend at the Long Island Lax Fest Girls Tournament. This was our first time actually sampling the product.
After ten minutes of warm-up time (even in the heat of Sunday morning) with the Power Shaft, a conventional lacrosse shaft felt "light-weight" and you could feel a speed increase in your stick handling. In some ways, it was like preparing to go to the plate in baseball after swinging a baseball bat with a "donut" ... except that the donut's weight is evenly distributed across the shaft.
Imagine was a season's worth of training could do for an individual player or team?
