Are all the local clubs playing a regular fall tourney schedule? NXT will be hosting Nightfall in Conshy this year and Harvest Classic still in West Chester/Downingtown so those should be close for everyone here. Also Adrenaline Gold Cup and Victory Fall Classic are in Frederica. Hopefully the PA teams register and represent well for the area. Good luck to all

Are PA teams going to play in the WSYL next year? I know the Sept 1st age cutoff is a problem for some, but Brotherly Love put together a great squad in 2019 to rep the area. Also it'll be played in MD not Denver which helps financially.

The Sept 1st age cutoff makes it tough for a lot of local team. A lot of the teams around here have august and even july or june bdays on their teams.

If true, that would be impressive. Personally I don’t know of any teams that are 100% on age (I know my boys have never been on a club team with no holdbacks), but you could definitely only have a couple kids you need to replace to qualify.

What area does Tigers pull from? I see Newtown Square as their address as a 501(c)(3), but is that really their base? Also kinda crazy they had $56k in expenses for 2018 for a single team (unless there is more to them than the one squad).

Club is crazy, 19 players at 3k is 57k. Pay for the tournaments, gear and some of the travel and it adds up quick.

Clearly you are savvy enough to look up that info so it’s surprising you think that is a crazy amount of money for a single team. For a 20 person team that amounts to a yearly tuition of $2800 per player. Seems pretty reasonable for a team that plays/practices year round and employed professional (I.e no dads) coaches.

What am I missing(it must be something)

Team was built by a parent for his son to play. If you are a Philly team don’t play them as they attempt to take your best player after the game.

Considering they are the only team that just beat the number one team in the nation they are doing something right. Wish my kid had been invited to their team & was coached by the best coaches in the game.

My kid has been the #6 kid on there waiting list for 4 years and every year they have no openings. Anything else to get seen by them?

Are they planning on Scoopers ball again. The played 13 kids that entire game to win, while the #1 team used their entire roster. Tigers went on to go 0-3 for the rest of the day at NAL while the #1 team in the country went on to win NAL. Tigers slid from #2 in the country to #7 because of that. When they actually played their entire team the week before they lost 12-4. to that same team, they beat the #1 team in the country, but at what cost. To drop back six spots and go 1-3 at NAL. I guess it was worth completely running your team in the ground for 1 win while going winless the rest of the day and dropping 6 spots in the top 10. Sounds like good coaching. Not just caring about winning.
