Glad to hear he doesn’t have one. But everyone needs to calm down. Frustration on the fields happen when a team is getting blown out. Cheap shots happen ALL the time because of it. It doesn’t mean the kid plays dirty because of a hit on a goalie outside of the crease out of sheer frustration. These are 12 yr old boys who play with a ton of emotion. Leave the kid alone. He made the hit, he got sidelined for it. The goalie is ok. Threats from VLC parents if the kid doesn’t apologize is no better than the hit itself. Grow up you full grown adults.

Why is it that VLC is usually the team involved when cheap shots and parent fighting happens? You rarely ever hear about this stuff with more talented teams, but seems to be the norm with VLC. So weird.

VLC is more aggressive and tougher than the other teams. It is not soccer. Hawks saw how physical VLC is. MD parents keep your kids home with their fiddle sticks.

goalie geing taken out of the game for a possible concussion getting in the head from behind 10 yards away from the ball, that's a cheap shot and reflects badly on himself, his coaches and his team.. his coaches sat the kid down to cool him down - parents should do the same.

Yet you’re the ones threatening a kid because of an aggressive hit. Which is it? Apples don’t fall far from trees. Sure hope your boys don’t grow up like you.

Hawks parents, you have been dethroned.

Big difference between aggressive and dirty. Sorry that you haven’t learned that yet.

Sorry you haven’t. It’s lacrosse. Everyone hits, everyone gets hit, some are deliberate out of frustration, some are inadvertent, as I would expect boys lacrosse to be. Good God move on. And for God’s sake VLC parents stop threatening to go after the kid the next time the two teams meet. Again, what the F is wrong with you? Middle school boys people.

If your son, different story. Sounds like this is not the first time from him. Bullies only stop after one thing, no matter what age.

We are now calling him a bully because of a hit. Bullies stop after what one thing?
Another threat against this player. What a great forum of parents.

Tell him not to come out of the crease this weekend...he might hear footsteps...

Not a VLC or RR parent but a goalie dad--but FYI that goes both ways. Your boy would do well to keep his head on a swivel if he comes near the crease next time they play. Defenders and goalies absolutely remember jersey numbers.

Beer muscles from behind the computer from a 45 year old dad. Sounds like the Great Santini.

This must be an FCA parent. Are you yellow helmet’s dad or one of the other brand new “2026” players. And are you referring to the push from behind in which the FCA player not even involved in the play retaliated after the whistle and landed in the penalty box with an unsportsmanlike? Because that was the only cheap shot, unless pushes from behind are now considered cheap. Move on.
