Nope. Both teams are almost all Baltimore area kids. Although two out of state (Texas and Colorado) middies made the underclass team.

St. John’s middie made Baltimore team after not making DC team.

The UA lacrosse roster reminds me of the college scandal. These kids think they made it and then reality strikes when they choke on the field. Great job parents! Talent prevails....always! What doesn’t hurt you makes you stronger....watch out for the kids you screwed over. They will be the successful one’s. Their stories always make the best one’s. Not the random paid for defunct UA Lacrosse roster. BTW, you probably, most likely won’t play...but hey you’re on the roster. Screen shot that to your friends who laugh at you behind your back!

There are better players in DC and Baltimore than the same kids that get hand selected for everything by their coaches or dad coaches/sponsors/consultants/business partners etc..You take these folks out of the selection process and boom the better or equally talented kids get picked.Kids from DC and Baltimore that didn’t make this year after making last year all have one thing in common- Their club or high school coach wasn’t an evaluator.

Most of them are a grade behind and weren’t expected to make the team anyway?

Anyone who plays for Hawks and FCA elite teams with a few others scattered in. Absolutely a money grab and a joke of a process.

Chances that Daddy Lids’ kid gets a bunch of kudos at Naptown? 100%. Daddy feeds the tournament promoter.

No he’s on the team but so many more deserving kids should be as well! Definitely some club bias here; just look at our roster.

More deserving? What are the criteria that makes a player “more deserving”.

More deserving meaning outplayed those who are on the roster. Pretty simple concept.

Is that another "National" team or event a couple local club coaches created without sending open invites to a tryout?

Many NLF All Star teams are bypassing tryouts and going straight to picking teams. Hilarious. Frankly that is what happens anyway at most of these UA, NLF or any National team tryout. Team is picked around coaches, clubs and buddies and generally a player or two who actually tryouts and makes the team, well he makes it due to coaches, clubs and buddies not having anyone good at that position. LOL..

Tryouts were virtual. Anyone who signed up and submitted film was considered.

Money grab with club coaches/HS coaches stacking the teams with their own players/children. Daddy Lids kid going to make it I’d bet.

Or simply because the coaches coach against everyone of these kids (for years) and know who they are, their talent level and attitude. Makes it pretty easy. Assemble the kids that you think make the best team. ^^ rec ball ended in 8th grade.

No way any of those players get recruited. NO WAY. The players not on the list deserve it more and work harder.🥱

Looks like Maryland has some great HS coaches involved. But if you want to justify your kid not being on the list that works.

To win it they would have had to beat the other undefeated team. Maybe at Millon.

Anyone see the UA 2022 junior spotlights roster?

Great list of HS coaches. Except 1 coach has zero experience coaching at any level other than his son's teams. Who could that be???? Oh wait, he has 9 players of his club team make the Nationals team including his son!! This is a money grab. Invite kids who you know with no try out to be on the team. And you get to pay $500. What a joke.

Yup. Just a bunch of players that don’t deserve it.
