Apparently there were 100+ kids at CH yesterday for Varsity tryouts.

It's a college Lacrosse program in a high school. Hat's off to all the boys working their @ss off for a spot on varsity at Calvert Hall this week!!!

And keep working hard for the 60+ that will never see a varsity lacrosse field but were given and bought into the empty promises of playing time and D1 dreams. #CHWAYOVERRECRUIT

LOL....wow, you're just a pathetic and angry wart firmly clinging onto the @ss of delusion.

Boo Hoo!!! My johnny can't make varsity!!! Who can I blame!!!????

For CH, it's not an issue of not making varsity. It's the obvious fact (obvious to anyone who has seen a CH game in the last few years) that 50+ kids dress for games and, at most, 20 see the field. So, yeah, it's a college program at the High School level.

But hey, the kids get to play scout team against the starters in practice, so...

Very good players never get much PT and good players sometimes get cut, especially at bigger schools like CHC and LB. Kids who get cut will find another sport like golf, rugby, track, tennis. I bet most of the practice players at Calvert Hall take a great deal of pride for being part their championship teams, as they should. Good luck to all

Wow. Articulate, logical and absolutely true - but it's not what the trolls and haters on this board want to accept. It's so much easier to cushion the simple mind and fragile ego with lies and fabricated BS.

In the interest of accuracy:

"Spencer leads the Wildcats in assists (3.8) and steals (0.8) per game, ranks second in points (10.6) and minutes (29.0) and is third in rebounds (3.3)."

Pretty darn good - even at Northwestern.

Mt St Joe - 1000 boys (high school)
CHC - 1200 boys (high school)
Loyola - 1000 (high school plus 6th - 8th)
The co-ed schools of Spaulding and McD have nearly 1/2 the boys as does BL, Gilman and SP.
Tough to make varsity at Loyola and CHC.. Mt St Joe is not a big lax school. BL, McD, Gilman and SP will reserve spots for seniors (may not see field but on roster)

Still having problems getting over your son's inability to make Spalding . I know it is hard to face this fact after spending all that money on Club Teams but , " He just isnt that Good " .
