I could care less about Madlax or Wolfpack, but I was at NLF this weekend, and the statement that most teams left is simply not true - all of the fields seemed to be in use and full of what appeared to be lacrosse players on Sunday - a quick look at TM shows that there were just 3 games that ended in 0-0 ties, so I might surmise that there were a small handful of teams (maybe 4 to 6 of 220+) that opted to leave

it was 100% in bad taste for Wolfpack or any other team to leave early with a couple of exceptions (if they were matched up against another team they could play locally and both coaches agreed to skip the game, that's understandable - there were teams that spent a considerable amount of time and money to travel to this event and play against the best teams in the country...the teams that left, including Wolfpack...cost those other teams an opportunity to do this

But, the Pack went from the climax of their youth careers, playing before 4,000 people and on national TV, to a completely meaningless cheater tournament in 95 degree heat, with nothing left to achieve. Plain and simple, the kids were spent. The Pack had very, very few games this year that were even remotely close. They have been the #1 ranked team in both 13U and 2024 rankings all year long. They achieved this with one gigantic target on their back, as being THE team to beat on the 2024 grade level. They did all this with every player being on age. Is there any team, anywhere, that can make that claim? I think not.

As far as the NLF tournament, the directors notified all teams that were not in contention for a championship, that they could elect not to play their remaining games, due to the heat advisory. There was no mention of the word "forfeit". With nothing left to play for, it was assumed that all such teams would elect not to play, given the extreme, unsafe conditions. With all that said, it was a most memorable and extraordinary year for our boys, to say the least. Now, it's on to next year.

So all the winning teams played some other location where is was NOT hot?? Unsafe? Face it the team quit and went home. End of story. Nothing left to play for?? In 7th grade?? How do you even type that?? How about the team you were supposed to play? This is going to be the rep on this club for a while.
STOP!!! JUST STOP!!1 No EXCUSE!!.. you were wrong. The coaches wrong, the parents wrong. !!! stay off the board you are only making it worse for your MIghty WOLFPACKUPANDGO when we lose team.

Hate on, righteous jealous haters! Same ole same ole. Still talking about the Pack. Always talking about the Pack, going on 7 years, now. Jealousy is the most sincere form of flattery, don’t you know. So keep on hating, haters. Your lame, irrational posts are music to the ears!
Music... You really are drinking the kool-aid. No one is jealous of Stuck up spoiled Parents, who get up and leave when you lose a game.

There’s only one reason for the hate, friend, and that’s pure jealousy. The old... “you got what I want” is the catalyst for hate. Ask the great Tom Brady about that. Or the NY Yankees. Or the New England Patriots. All symbols of tremendous success, and all hated by the masses, because they have what people want, but will never have. So keep on hating, haters. It’s the truest form of flattery. Total vindication for our boys.

Brady was suspended for cheating..

Has any one ever talked about your kids team? Of course not. And you don’t like that either. But the infatuation with the Pack continues, just as it has for the past 6 years. How can a completely on age team, be sooo darn good? That’s what you want to know, but afraid to ask. So it comes out in jealous tirades, laced with lies. Real garbage. Well keep up the talk. Tryouts are around the corner. More opportunity to spew additional lies. The Pack will keep doing what they always do, winning lacrosse games, with dignity and class. A foreign topic to the anonymous little characters on here.

You may want to consult a Hawks parent before making hasty comments. That enormous holdback team was CRUSHED by the #1 ranked Pack. Yeah, same team that gives Madlax all they can handle, were CRUSHED by the Pack. More proof? Madlax barely squeaked by Express North this weekend. A 3 point differential. Pitiful. They didn’t even qualify for Denver and the cheatingest team in 2024 barely beats them. How embarrassing! I mean your whole team is holdbacks, and as if that’s not enough of an advantage, your own players brag about how you use kids from the 2023 team, on the 2024 team. Even that isn’t enough, so you bring 2023 players from different teams. All this to win a 7th grade lacrosse game. You say that holdbacks aren’t cheating. What’s your stance on Madlax using 2023 players from both the Madlax organization and other clubs. Confirmed by your own players. 2023 grade players, playing on the 2024 team. Is that cheating? Madlax is the true garbage disposal of youth sports. Pure trash. Well known and well documented.

I am a 91 parent. Totally disgusting move. Nothing else to say, I can’t lie about how badly this reflects on all of us. Was hoping there was a story behind it like an injury that would have made it an honorable move.

Yeah ok Madlax troll, you’re a 91 parent. Grow up. If you were a 91 parent then you would know that all teams not competing for a championship were given the option to forego the rest of the games, due to the temps in the mid to high 90’s. Given that it was the last tourney of the year, and conditions were so unfavorable, most Teams left. WP was no exception, as they had already achieved everything that they wanted to achieve this year. But feel free to invent negative drama, where there is none. I know it makes you think that if you do, people won’t notice your 2023’s playing on your 2024 team. Or the fact that all of your players are holdbacks. Or that Madlax brings 2023 players that don’t even play for Madlax. I don’t think your smoke screen worked.

You are a fool. Your club and coaches quit and that is a terrible lesson to teach kids. Your attempt at an excuse is pathetic. Now everyone is laughing at Wolfpack.

The number of completely false statements in this post is amazing. 1) Most teams did not leave. 2) Even if you thought it was too hot to play on Saturday afternoon your next game was Sunday morning, decent weather for that game. 3) No kids graduating in 2023 on the Madlax team 2024 team. 4) The whole team is not holdbacks. 5) There were no kids that do not play for Madlax on the team and definitely no kids who are graduating in 2023.

Continue with the lies if it makes you feel better. The whole "we already achieved everything" is the lamest excuse anyone can come up with. The fact is that WP did not make the championship bracket and left. If you did not want to be there then you should not have gone to the tournament. If it was too hot for you on Saturday then wait for the Sunday game. If you don't like grade based tournaments then don't go to them. It is actually very simple. No one is inventing drama, WP did that to themselves.

Finally to one of the last posts, if hating is a sign of jealousy then you guys must really be jealous of Madlax.

If you’re going to go through all the trouble of writing a rambling post, packed full of what you call “facts”, you may want to get the ones that are easily verified via a quick look at tourney machine, correct. That helps make your bogus post more credible to uninformed readers. As everyone knows, Packs OT loss to Evlipse was the first game of the day for both teams. Their 2nd game would have been that afternoon, not the next morning as you stated in your “facts”. Now the entire post lost all credibility, as it now just appears to be one big pile of garbage, which is of course what it is. But you don’t want people to know that. Understand? If you need some help, ask one of your 2023 DCDogs guest player holdbacks to help you. Ok?

Have fun in the B brackets come showcase time since Coaches only want to see how you play against kids in the same grade and you guys obviously can’t hang w/ the big boys.

Did anyone bring this up to Inside Lacrosse so they can adjust the rankings accordingly? I bet they would be really interested in WolfPackUpAndLeave sportsmanship.

Dignity and class would have been staying to play the games on your schedule. Seems like the only foreign concept you’re not teaching your Wolfpups is respect for your opponents and sportsmanship. You come on here and brag about how great your team is but you guys duck at the chance to play any quality teams. When that chance finally comes, you guys pack up and leave because you can’t handle the heat. Go polish your WSYL medal because that’s the only thing you guys are winning for a long time. PACKUP, PACKMOMMY.

Wow, the Pack gave up 9 total goals to the likes of 4 Leaf NH and Lax Mafia. That's some stout defense. And then they lost to Eclipse, NXT, and Crabs. Can't wait for the final US Club Lax rankings. Afraid to say, but the Pack's NOT going to be #1, and probably won't be #2 or #3 either. Didn't you say previously that you're only as good as your last game? You're the lost now.

Forget the whys, reasons, facts, etc. the optics are terrible, that’s all. That is what is sparking the sharp criticism, plus they are the best team in grade. Bandits and Smash took tough L’s in their pool play, but played on. My thoughts, you have to finish the tourney, unless both teams agree to not play. I get it’s the season’s end, but we are all shot and ready to enjoy what is left of summer.

Wolfpack beat North by 5 at qualifier
Express North lost to bbl by 1 at prime time
The thousands of fans at wsyl that watched Wolfpack play legacy ,you know who they were ?
All of the 24 families and players . They all saw what 91 did this weekend at NLF .

Seriously, how old are the Madlax big boys? Fair question.

The amount of cheating that went on at the NLF is unreal! Not just MadLax but, a lot of teams using kids from older grades. Travel lacrosse is getting worse & worse all for a t-shirt or a WWE belt.

My son is a 2024 on a lower level team than Pack or other AA teams. That being said I have been on these boards for a couple years and have seen crazy come and go. I have to say this Madlax parent is an insane person and needs medication. I have seen these Madlax boys, they are 100% older. To compare your older kids to on age 2024 Pack or any other 2024 team is insane. If Madlax could have played in Denver they would have. It is well known they are older and it is what it is, but this person needs serious medical attention.. This is 7th grade people, go in the pool..

That's a bold face lie.....AND YOU KNOW IT......... No other team left, there were many teams that came expecting to be in the playoffs and they all stayed and played through to Sunday.

- The WP coaches should be fired!!! This is your tournament, you set up a powder puff schedule and lost. All of the other kids have been playing in the heat this summer (a lot in Denver too)... You just got beaten

- We need to remember that they missed their game on Sunday too, which left parents having to PAY for an extra night at the tournament.... There is no recovering that wasted money

Someone else said it..... Like the Madlax coach who messed up big time, who now in all fairness, seems to be a decent guy but we remember what he did..... The name Wolfpack will always be remembered for being a low class set of loosers...

WP parents, next year (next month) when they start dropping your smaller boys to get bigger bodies please stay away from my team.... PS.... look at what happened with the Bandits.... its coming, because they are needed to compete

Forget what all the crazies are saying, the reality is it's important to lose sometimes. My son is on a team at a different age level and they hadn't lost in like 2 years. They lost this summer and although they were devastated, it only made them better throughout the rest of the summer. I think that is the ultimate learning opportunity. A team like WolfPack needed to have the opportunity to play through failure more than any team in that tournament. It only makes your team stronger in the long run.

Keep going down that road. Your team is a JOKE.. you will never beat MADLAX. Stay off the board !!!! There is alot of good teams out there. Your not the Best!!! What you are the best at, is packing up and leaving when it does not go your way. Disgraceful!!! WOLFPACKUPANDLEAVE!!!! ppaaaaaaaaaaccccccccckkkkkkkkk uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuppppppppp!!!!(quote)

[quote=Anonymous]My son is a 2024 on a lower level team than Pack or other AA teams.

This is the best response to a post all season. I say we close the board this season on a HIGH NOTE!!! Have a great summer....

Both the Wolfpack and the Madlax parent are crazy. They are equally insane in my opinion. And you are right Madlax didn't play in the tournament because it is age based not grade based. They can only participate in the grade based tournaments because they are a grade based team!

If others want more age based tournaments they should stop entering the grade based ones. Constantly complaining about on here is truly a waste of time.

These are the kind of statements I just don't understand. So how old is too old? So would it be cool for a 16 year old kid to be on a 2024 team? Don't parents have the right to understand the age of the players their kids are playing against. Sure. A couple of months is no big deal -- but years. Please. I think I may have just vomited in my mouth because some of you people make me sick.

Yes parents have the right to know and you know when you enter the tournament that if it’s a grade based team the kids will be older. Now that you know what are you going to do about it. Continue to throw up in your mouth or demand age based tournaments.

US Club Lax rankings is a complete sham owned by 91. Don’t expect to see anything except WolfPackUpAndLeave as #1. Tryout dollars are at stake here and that organization will cheat every dollar out of every person they can.

Let's cut the mindless, juvenile garbage posts for just five minutes, and look at the cold hard facts, straight from Tourney Machine. The last time Madlax played teams that the Pack has played recently, the scores... straight out of tourney machine... were as follows:

Madlax - 7 vs Hawks - 5 (NAL Invitational)
Madlax - 4 vs LI Express - 2 (NAL Invitational)
Madlax - 8 vs Express North - 5 (NLF)

The last time the Pack played these three teams, the score was as follows:

WP - 7 vs Hawks - 3 (NLF)
WP - 6 vs LI Express - 1 (NLF) *(Express grade-based team, not WSYL age-based team)
WP - 8 vs Express North - 3 (NLF) *(Express North grade-based team, not WSYL age-based team)

In every single game, the point differential was greater when the Pack played the same teams that Madlax did. In total the WP goal differential was 14 to Madlax's 7, or WP had double the goal differential that ML had.

Now, the facts don't support all of the Madlax mindless, juvenile posts, now do they? Any logical person (that can add!) would look at the data and conclude that the far younger, completely on-age, guest-less WP is the better team. There is just no way to come to any other conclusion, based on the data. Hence their #1 ranking for the entire year.

So the Pack won't be taking any of your advice, and go down the empty, moral-less road of holdback heaven, which is the same advice that you have been giving every year. Every year you say that WP can't compete against teams like Madlax that are two years older, without adding holdbacks. And every single year, you are wrong. Yeah, I think we'll pass on that advice again this year. No need for inferior, older players, just to get their size advantage for a couple of years. We'll just go with the on-age talented kids. It's served us pretty well.

Mad lax will undoubtedly keep doing what they do, which is play with a team that is 100% holdbacks, double boldbacks, guest players from other 2023 teams, and players from their own 2023 team... all conveniently confirmed by your own players, via social media (those darn kids!). The Pack, on the other hand, will keep doing what they do, and that's winning a whole lot of lacrosse games, with no holdbacks and no guest players, but a whole bunch of talented players and coaches.

What an stunad! Madlax just beat the hawks in the finals of Naptown 10-2. Do we even need to talk about the BBL score or the tristate score of 15-1 for madlax Vs WP at 8-1? stunad...you guys have been avoiding Madlax for years now and you and the entire team know it! You guys don’t want anything to do with Madlax! It would be ugly, very ugly!

You total stunad! On Sunday, Madlax destroyed True Illinois, 11-5, who beat Eclipse 3-1. The same Eclipse team that beat the mighty, mighty Wolfpack 5-4 the day before. Those are the cold hard facts, straight from Tourney Machine. Sure, Wolfpack won the age-based World Series....congrats, but then they turned around and couldn't even make the top 8 at NLF. Oh, and then the Wolfpack lost to NXT 1-0. Two losses in two days. I don't think Madlax has lost in over a year. Enjoy the rest of the summer. Wolfpackup and leave!
