Pat has worked for his son with Blatant, helping run their events for some time now. This will help the Outlaws a lot and only hurt the "AA" rebels (lmao) and the Blatant events as evident from this years tournament with no balls at the end lines, score keeper for 2 fields, no netting behind goals and the list goes on. Could have to do with PB stepping down before this year. Not sure how anyone could complain about all the gear the rebels received. All gear that was promised was received, in fact they were even given gloves .you can’t expect to learn the basics at practice at this point! These kids have to put there own time in . The real issue is that the clubs are taking players who can't throw or catch!!!! Club ball should be for good players to develop them further, not money ball!!!! But greed takes over these clubs and it hurts everyone. Totally unfair to developing players who are good but not AA material. So many travel clubs promise they are going to make your kid better lacrosse players and once they get your money they stick him on the sideline to let the favorites play. Good to see honesty being written and clubs being held accountable. Actually benefits parents so they don't waste 4-5 grand. Kids change sports all the time growing up so teaching is what parents are paying for. Unfortunately many of the travel coaches are too lazy to teach or simply don't know how to improve young athletes. Any adult who played a sport can throw 10 kids out on a lacrosse field and hope they play .500 ball throughout the year and call it a successful year. Good coaches make sure every kid ends the year better then they were when they started. Those are the coaches that every kid wants to go back to. If your coach/club takes the money and runs then call them out, maybe they will decide to actually take an interest in making players better ...... if they actually know how to do that. This man thought he was Gods gift to Lacrosse and parents needed to understand that he was Top Dog. I am not surprised this thread was started to vent about Pat, I am just shocked it took so long. I would never have my son play for a club where Pat was involved again. We thought about going to the Rebels at 1 point but realized the apple couldn't fall far from the tree. From what I am told it is he same old story with different front cover. My kids have played for Brennan teams for at least 7 years. This includes playing for the Outlaws and Rebels. I have friends on many age group teams. The one thing you have to know about both of them is that they are honest when it comes to player evaluations. That may explain some of these negative posts. Seven years ago when my son went to the Outlaws I too thought it may be a big mistake based on the negative post on this forum. My kids do not come from a powerhouse high school and we rely 100 percent on Mike and Pat for player development and recruitment. For years we followed what they said and one son is now playing D1 at a top school and the other son is getting more looks and interest from colleges that I thought could never happen. They both have always given what they said they would give.Our teams always played in the best tournaments against the best teams and best for recruitment. Playing these top teams for years has developed all the kids at a faster pace. Do we get beat by a lot sometimes-- yes. We played the crabs. Lost. However the sidelines were filled with college coaches and they expressed interest in our players after that game. This happens often. Its not about the wins and loses. Its about development in the younger years and college exposure when the kids get older. They have done a great job with that and with the teams my kids have played for. They give a lot to charity and have food drives. They give helmets, gloves, bags, fall uniforms, different spring uniforms, around 8 tournaments , 50 practices, indoor practices, and a lot of clothes. The most important part of playing for the Brennans is the college exposure you will get when the kids get older and playing the best of the best during the younger years and your kid will get better. They have led my kids and many others to better places that they would not have been without them. The only thing you have to worry about with them is if your kid is not good they will tell you that and in my opinion that is not a bad thing. However many times when they tell the truth to a parent they get bashed here. My first son was not always a D1 prospect. He was a middle level kid. Brennan evaluated him as such. Did I come on here and bash the evaluator-- no. He told us what my son needed to do to get better. We followed the advice offered and he is now a success story, All the bad stuff you are reading here most likely comes from someone who does not know them well or has an ax to grind. MB and PB also enjoyed an over 90 percent return of players when they were with the Outlaws. If they were such bad people, as some of these post suggest, then there is no explanation for all the families who knew MB very well that followed him to the Rebels from the Outlaws and all the kids who return to play on a Brennan run team year after year. These are facts that makes me believe the positive posts about them are correct.The facts do not show they are bad people. The most important part of playing for the Brennans is the college exposure you will get when the kids get older and playing the best of the best during the younger years and your kid will get better. They have led my kids and many others to better places that they would not have been without them. The only thing you have to worry about with them is if your kid is not good they will tell you that and in my opinion that is not a bad thing. However many times when they tell the truth to a parent they get bashed here. My first son was not always a D1 prospect. He was a middle level kid. Brennan evaluated him as such. Did I come on here and bash the evaluator-- no. He told us what my son needed to do to get better. We followed the advice offered and he is now a success story, All the bad stuff you are reading here most likely comes from someone who does not know them well or has an ax to grind. As for your question on why someone would leave and take the same players this happens all the time in business. Law firms, accounting firms, any type of business commonly have younger associates leave and start out on their own taking business with them. As for player return Most of the outlaws teams had over a 90% return rate. Some had 100% return rate. If Mike B and Pat B were bad guys no one would have followed them to the Rebels. But most Outlaws went or tried to go to the Rebels. Being now at the end of the club scene and seeing my son committed to a good school I would respectfully recommend you not waste time with negative nonsense. We rolled around in similar club drama over the years and looking back I regret it. It did nothing for my son. If you don't like a club move on. Other families may make different choices and that is fine. Don't forget club lacrosse is, first and foremost, a business and these guys approach it that way. Yeah, they care about your kids, but they care about their own business much, much more. Never get that confused. Keep in mind that coming on here and bashing a club coach doesn't help your kid get better. It is wasted energy. Find a supplemental coach for extra 1:1 or small group work. Oh, and push academics for your son, get a top quality SAT/ACT tutor when the time comes and take the test early and often. The stronger your son is in that department the more choices he will have and the smoother the recruiting will go.... Like Reply Quote

At the end of the day, the club you play for has a marginal impact whether or not you will play in college. If your son is a stud then the coaches will seek him out. If he is a better than average player then you want the program to play in top tier tournaments. Outlaws / Rebels go to some really good tournaments such as Crabfeast, Naptown, NXT, etc. so, if he plays well, he will get noticed. Directors have very little to do with your son getting recruited. They can call a coach and speak on your sons behalf but your kid still has to show up and perform. Again, unless your kid is a stud, coaches will need to see him play 3-5 times before they make a decision one way or another. We'll call you and beg you to give us $100+ dollars for tryouts so we can make even more money off you naive blowhards. We'll throw in a shiny new tat for your wife. That's enough. I cant believe that these can be adults with kids or who coach kids that are acting this way. But you should be ashamed of yourselves both sides for carrying on this way. I'm sure there is hard feelings between both clubs. And since there was obviously a long term involvement with Outlaws, there were probably very hard feelings when they broke away forming Rebels. Outlaws probably has a pretty legitimate gripe if they were soliciting players from Outlaw teams probably well before they fully broke away. And it may actually be a violation of contract. But that's for each party to hash out behind closed doors or with legal counsel. And I'm sure there has been bad experiences for some Outlaw parents over the years or upset feelings at this break off, plus parents unhappy with promises made by Rebels after they changed teams that were not followed through on. And these may be legit. But name calling and trashing someone's family members is in no way an appropriate way to handle it. Outlaws will handle their legal stance. Parents should concentrate on their kids and finding the best team for them. And try to set the example for your kids. Because the way both sides have acted here on this blog is unacceptable and shameful. Grow up. But this is nothing. Legacy and Igloo got it much worse than this when they started up. Not all new teams go through this. Only the ones that are a threat to getting a large market share. Say what you want about the Rebels but I do not remember any team that started so strong in terms of player numbers or numbers of teams in the first year. Igloo had two teams for years before they expanded. Only then did they get bashed here. Legacy took a couple of years to get going. But when they did they too got similar posts as the Rebels. Icon started from a team called Turf Island and when they left they could not get nearly as many players to leave Turf island as the Rebels were able to do doing the same thing and those running icon are top guys with the best reputation out there. But even those guys could not do what the Rebels did in the first year. Face it that the Rebels are here to stay and will grow every year and saying unverified statements is not stopping it. If fact it probably helps them as free publicity. The bashing should never happen and should stop but it won’t. It never does for any larger lacrosse organization with a large market share which the Rebels are now part of. I agree Legacy and Igloo got bashed, but for good reason. They got away from their original mission statements. Some promise only one team per grade, some promise the anti-travel experience, some claim new gear, etc. The unfortunate reality is they've all sold out and only care about lining their pockets. I have no problem with that but at least admit it. Some of the B teams are absolutely terrible and the instruction is awful but the directors keep saying its about development. The gullible parents keep believing it's great that the kid is playing. Ultimately it has diluted the talent pool and hurts the sport until HS. Like Reply Quote

We have re-purposed our production facilities, and are working on increasing our production capacity to produce as many face masks, and protective gear as needed. Surgical masks need to stay with those who need them. There has been requests by federal, state and local governments for anyone with the means to produce protective, to do so. If you look around at the cost of cotton based face masks, the nicer and washable/reusable ones are expensive, and usually do not get sold in quantities of 1 because of logistical reasons. We have worked hard, and around the clock to make that happen, and purchases over over 48 masks available for less than $10 each. These are items that can be used for a long time, and are needed like an item of apparel. We have been in contact with police departments, first responders, fire departments, and more throughout the country and have already committed to donating thousands of masks, and that number will continue to grow as we work with communities and areas in need. We are doing our part during all of this, and have taken on a monumental task, instead of simply doing nothing. Proper masks can simply not be made fast enough, and we are doing what we can and what is in our power to help. We wish everyone the best, and to stay safe and healthy.
