Katie DeSimone from St. Anthony's High School earns Week #9 Girls' High School Player of the Week

Junior Attacker from St. Anthony's High School, Katie DeSimone earns BOTC Week #9 Girls' High School Player Of The Week honors after notching 17 points with dropping 14 goals & dishing out 3 assists in 2 wins this week over St. Dominic's and Kellenberg. With that, Katie has moved up as #2 in goals in the CHSAA, #3 in Points (87) in the CHSAA and tied for 5th in Suffolk County for Goals scored (67). The 3rd Ranked Junior is verbally committed to Duke University and is the Friars' leader who will be leaned on to make a deep run into the playoffs after proving that they are one of the top teams in the Country after knocking off the #1/#2 nationally ranked Manhasset Indians a couple of weeks ago where Katie found the back of the cage 5 times.
