GO BACK TO 2024 THREAD! NOBODY CARES ABOUT 2024 TOPICS ON 2023 THREAD!
nice job BBL . Great showing today. Beating both 91 teams .

After amassing 24 goals while giving up only one goal, in two games, the 2024 Pack played the 2023 BBL A team to OT. After leading for almost the entire game, the pack came within one inch of ending it in OT. But on this day, it was not to be, as BBL’s size and strength ended up being the very marginal difference. A great showing for a team that is almost entirely pre-pubescent, vs a team that is entirely post-pubescent. Boys vs men. A difference of between one and two years in age. There is no 2023 team anywhere that wants to play this young team of very talented boys. Losing to a 2024 team most definitely does not look good on the resume. Next stop: The MD 2024 holdback cheater teams. Doubt they will be any trouble.

you lost . Learn how to lose Pal. Stay off the 23 thread . You have atleast 4 05 kids so stop trying to fool yourself . That’s a fact. That team is no where near crush . Keep dreaming . Now get off the tread.

BBL beat 2 91 teams, besides WP who else?
warriors I believe.

Everything broke down for them after the WSYL. Same thing happened to Igloo. Bandits and Express are fine.

Never heard of Team 5 and Icon. Don't know what their tuition cost is , but looks like many different clubs forming to escape the high cost of the typical club travel lacrosse.

Wow, that was ugly today at Blatant. Battle of the "B" teams in the "A" bracket. Congrats to the Warriors. Rebels do not belong in the "A" bracket. True Blue had a tough day. GC had an off day.

Pretty ugly in the B division. Why did the Long Beach team leave and not play the championship game I know the kids were joking and saying that the coach said it was too late and they had to go home to get ready for school in the morning what really went down

Express bought out a team and brought them in the Express family. That’s Karowski. I’m not sure what team they were last year, but I know that some of their players went to Hedstrom and some of Hedstroms players went to Karowski. Icon and Force have been around for a while. Team 5 is a team that was formerly SYAG and now they just bring in kids from all over. Bandits, Express Haugan, Igloo, Turtles, Warriors, and some others all play tournaments. The former Empire Green coach is coaching them.

Team 5.....Who. Nothing against the boy's. But their middle aged father dressed like a teenager, clad in Vans slip on sneakers, who calls himself a coach. This guy has been talking up a storm since the fall. Yes they went 1-1 against the warriors in a well played game in the Fall, but to talk so much trash about the Warriors up until yesterday, you got what you deserved. He even had a well known travel coach on the sidelines coaching, with the addition of many new faces (boy's) on the team; middies, attack, goalie, poles, coach.... Not to mention, his top defender was thrown out the game for getting in the ref's face. He did very well as the SYAG/PAL coaching a group of boy's from his town, but couldn't leave well enough alone. Daddy looked like a deer in the headlights yesterday. Good luck to whatever coach and travel team his son plays on... He should be embarrassed!

It's is kind of creepy to see a man, I expect over 35 to dress like he's a 15 year old trying to look like the kids he's coaching. Igloo had enough of that him and his marching band.

its creepy that you do not know how to write in full sentences. it really is weird that you are addressing what the man wears. This site is really full of sickos.

bro, do us all a favor and focus more on watching your kid play than what someone else on the other team is wearing please. It's odd. You seriously only comment on this one team and this one guy that you are clearly obsessed with. I remember seeing a similar comment back in the fall and then went quiet until today. Are you even a parent? or do you just follow this guy around at tournaments as the fashion police?

That model has been tried many times and I’ve never seen it work. There are too many kids playing on too many different teams. Zero continuity is built because parent and player priorities are elsewhere. The coaches have passion, but they don’t have a strong background in lacrosse, and as the kids got older, their skills has surpassed the coaches knowledge. Apparently one of their defenders got in the ref’s face and started dropping f-bombs yesterday, too. That shows a lack of leadership and respect. Sometimes there is such a thing as too much lacrosse.

True Blue parents are ridiculous. I watched some of the Rebel/TB game and the parent nonsense didn’t disappoint. The Rebel helmets are terrible. They gave TB a run for their money. Very physical game. TB didn’t seem to blow out any of the competition. I am surprised Warriors didn’t beat them by more.

The B bracket games my kid played in or we saw were fairly evenly matched for the most part. BBL is a good team as is LB. they have obviously been playing together awhile. From talking to parents most of the B teams are new or have had some big changes recently. Will be interesting see if the Express teams get it together. S2S has a solid defense but no offense. Taking FO with a long pole out of the gate screams that they have issues. The Icon team was inconsistent. One second they seemed together and the next couldn’t catch and throw. Outlaws have fallen.

So true. Kids are kids, they only are there to play, but parents have underlying motives. Passion is driven by various factors. Many coaches allow their passion to be driven by their own self interest. Therefore, leadership, structure and respect suffers. As such, during the game the coaches kid was upset the father (coach) called a time out, and began yelling across the field at his dad. For that reason, you need to be very careful upon the cart you hook your wagon to. Yesterday, was truly a bad look for one particular coach, but it seems as though he dosen't learn by the mistakes from the past.

I heard from numerous people that one of their defenders got in the refs face, complaining loudly and angrily about a call and about another player hitting him, and dropped f-bombs. I trust the people who told me.

Well, you shouldn’t. It didn’t happen. Did he get angry at the ref, yes. Did he curse at the ref? No. Just stop.

No one is blaming or spreading rumors about the kids, toxic behavior always starts at the top. People, look at yourselves, red cups filled with booze during a kids sporting tournament, and then jump in you vehicles when it's over and drive home. Come on now.

Sometimes there is such a thing as too much lacrosse.

Nobody dropped f bombs at the ref. Were you even watching or just making stuff up and spreading rumors about kids??

I heard from numerous people that one of their defenders got in the refs face, complaining loudly and angrily about a call and about another player hitting him, and dropped f-bombs. I trust the people who told me.

You “heard”? Hahaha are you 10? So not only did you come on to stir the pot, this is not even first hand info? You guys are new level of low.

No. Sending a pole out on the faceoff to take out the opposing players that was dominating. That’s low. Allowing your players to run at a ref and scream in his face (curse or not). That’s low. These are actions that have been typical of that coach and those players for years. Their players have begun to take the personality of the coach. It’s a shame, because it’s the boys that will be hurt by their association with him and that team.

Yes, It is true, and time has finally caught up to him (coach). In first place, it's not like one person saying this, many have questioned his character over the years regarding the style of coaching he instilled in his team. Sunday was a bad look for HIM and HIM alone. Further, association with him? he has his steady marching band group, but they are slowly separating themselves from him. Finally, just keep in mind, he could be very disruptive if and when he becomes unhappy with his current travel team. (went to WSYL last year and still wasn't happy)

We get it you don’t like him, move on. It’s clear you have a personal vendetta against him that you should get over. The more you write the more obvious it becomes who you are. Not so anonymous anymore.
