They will see though that they can't complete in the 2024 bracket. That's why those boys who are a year older are playing down a year. They couldn't make it on the A teams in 2024. Good solid players, but size does come into play and they will be shut down in the 2024 bracket.

They are playing the B teams in the bracket. The only two decent teams are Taz and Express Schwale and they aren’t playing either one.

S2S is a good B team but small in size. Igloo has big kids which will make it hard for them. And 2 Way will crush them.

With all the practice in the world S2S can’t beat them!
Where is 2 Way from?

That may change over the next few years, but playing up now serves no purpose. Some 7th grade boys start getting very large. Playing up becomes dangerous. They won’t play up in A divisions because they will get destroyed, so the only option is to play weak teams. Like Blast tomorrow; those teams are not good. Blast will likely beat them, but those boys are not going to like it and could potentially take it out on those tiny Blast kids. It doesn’t make sense. Playing up doesn’t equate to playing better teams, just bigger. It is the clubs/coaches responsibility to put the teams in the tournaments best suited for them. Not to win shirts.

90% of the Express team are 12 yrs old. lets get facts straight!

Blast, too. A bunch of Igloo as well.

Top clubs all going by bogus WSYL birth year age rules. Late August is cut off, they are all eligible and yes some kids playing on grade are almost a year younger and older

What are the WSYL age rules?

September 1st

Agree. What a lost that guy is. Sad thing is it’s probably a parent of one of his teammates. Kid is a young 2006. Not even the oldest on that team.

There is only a handful of tournaments with requirements and even they don't check ages. The WSYL is a business venture, so the age requirements are skewed to benefit the partners. If US Lacrosse or another governing body does not establish cut-offs nothing will change. Unless, that is, someone gets seriously injured by a kid 2 years older. Every other major sport follows guidelines.

So true! This sport is getting to big not to have a governing body where age rules are enforced!

Are you serious with this post? This post should be removed!
If you knew anything about the kid, he's a great player and class act! Wasn't cut from any team.
I'm guessing someone on the 2025 team just wants more playing time.
Please remove that post calling out a kid by name is just wrong!

Agree. What a lost that guy is. Sad thing is it’s probably a parent of one of his teammates. Kid is a young 2006. Not even the oldest on that team.

Putting all that aside. And not discussing WSYL.
For the regular tournaments they are age based. So unless these kids were left ba k, they cant play in thr Blatant tournaments 2025 division unless they are legit in 6th grade.

Why not no one checks rosters or ages. Lacrosse should adopt the same system soccer uses. Coach has each kids ID's and they hand them out to each player and each kid gives to ref at beginning of game. Even PAL Football is doing a hybrid version of this where the coaches check rosters. Coach has a list with picture of each kid and birth date.
US Lacrosse needs to make this change. Seems they make other changes all the time to better the game..

Chan did cut 2024 kids who then refused the B team and are now playing down. Cheating cheaters are stealing time from 11 year olds. That's UGLY! I blame the parents!

So who cares? The only problem is when it is dangerous and they are large. If they blend in, [ChillLaxin] up with the complaining!

Perfect, at least everyone now has a subject to post about when the Express rolls on tomorrow by winning each game easily. Because of all the half truths and nonsense, that’s a fact. And the other fact is that 91 parents will be checking tourney machine results. Lol. Express Keeps Rolling!!!!

Ref class is in January. Go get certified and make a few hundred bucks in an afternoon. You get paid whether you are right or wrong.

Say what you want, you get what you pay for. After seeing the other clubs product this weekend, I would not bargain shop. In my opinion, a few clubs have taken a step back. Won’t name them, just an observation

don’t you think the other teams consented and the tourney directors agreed? Not advocating either way, just saying this is always more to the story

no consent . Was standing right by the desk. The 2025 coach walked right up and said they are letting the 2024 team take their spot. The 2024 team was knocked out. Was a scam . Typical crap at blatant. To boot the 2024 ended up. winning they beat the TAZ team that beat them knocked them out . I am sure that went over well with the parents . How that club gets away with this crap. They should have never made it to the final
