For 2022? Close to none.

The reclassing was last year (redo 8th grade).

2022's mass reclass was to 2023 this year. Very few 2021 reclassing to 2022's this year. You 2021's missed that boat last year.

Most 2022 who wanted to be held back were held back last year. Most are former 2021 's.

Crazy world now. Lacrosse the integrity sport where reclass/prefirst/holdbacks rein king

How many did all the clubs add? Last year the pre/holdback was across the board at the elite level. Even team had them

Agreed.. Every team has them and every team will continue to have them. It is a mute subject now that they are in High School. Already seeing maturity playing a big role in boys catching up and in many cases passing the older, maturer boys. Many that were bigger , stronger faster for what ever the reasons are done growing. Witness this first hand towards the end of summer tournaments where the younger side have caught up to those that always had some type of physical advantage. It was even more clear at tryouts. Those hold/pre players will of course always have that advantage but those really good lacrosse players that are maturing now and training hard the advantage will be very little if any. If you are still concerned about this topic you may want to stop with athletics now for you kid. It will be this way all the way through college- at all most every sport

Of all the top 2023 teams, very few added top 2022's Hawks and ML roster's remain the same. Top kids on both those teams are still the same. 91 may have some re-class along with crabs but 91 is not an elite team

By the spelling and grammatical errors I'm going to guess you're from AA County?

Not very informed are you? Hawks and ML 2022's both had a lot of changes this year. And 91 won 2 tournaments this summer including the NLF National Championship. Other than that, good informative take.

Read much? I was commenting on the 2023's as it relates to adding 2022's knowing this is the 2022 board. 91 2023 did not win anything this summer.

Heard many of their best players tried out for the Hawks. Why didn't the Crabs get the Petro boys? I thought Petro and the King Crab were tight?

RK that runs Koopers is the Petro's godfather. They aren't going to bail on Koopers.

Not is there any reason too. Crabs lost the luster. No one needs or cares about it anymore.

Speak english? Crabs is till one of the top programs in the country. Fooling yourself to think otherwise. Sure there is more competition out there now. They were the first big club program. Was impossible to sustain.

The definition of desperate in the Dictionary: Fail to make the semis in your local League championship playoff. Panic and fly several kids in from every big State to back fill a mediocre roster for one or two tournaments. Trumpet one runner up finish at the last tournament in the year when the boys are playing on empty and are looking forward to their family vacations. Sure, sign me up.

So I guess the fact that they made the finals of the first summer tournament on LI was because the boys have too much energy? No guest players at that one.

Crabs either made the finals or semis of every tournament they played in all summer.

Well, when you are affiliated with NLF and make your own schedule anything is possible. If you are interested in playing for Crabs check out their website. It looks like the roster hasn’t been finalized and if you are on the 2023 team they want you to be hungry so RM can EAT you, I mean meet you! That is what people mean by your ship has sailed, sunk whatever!

Club has lost it completely. The 2022 has never been good. See above. 2023 was dominant for 2 years (an anomaly) then fell to average last year because of a mass exodus. The younger years all had losing records. The HS invite team may still be ok but the youth program tanked. Fact! The holdback advantage was exposed at the inaugural WSYL with the embarrassing lop sided loss to a team they beat a month earlier. Laughing stock!

Right because all the other clubs have their rosters posted already...

Your post makes no sense. You say that 2023s should be hungry so Ryan can eat you? And that's what people mean by your ship has sailed(or sunk). I gotta say you've got me convinced. I love when Harford and AA county trash posts on here. Keeps the low brow humor at the expected level.

Not sure if it is in English if you would be able to comprehend. Hitting the bottle early today? Guess it is Friday. Docks must shut down early.

Not from AA or Harford County but I’m sure you have players are part of your program that are. I am sure they don’t appreciate your judgement! If you are a step above everyone then your roster should be posted. Guess you just proved that you are not a step above but a few steps behind. Kids can play for a losing club anywhere, why deal with someone who refers to themselves as “King Crab”?

LOL. Are you ignorant enough to think he refers to himself as King Crab?

Go ahead and let me know one club that has their roster posted for this year. Go ahead. I'll wait to see who Crabs is a step behind in terms of posting their roster.

Guess I'll keep going down the state. Calvert County? Somewhere that English is a second language?

Not a member of the Crabs, but runner up in 2 of the top 4 tournaments all summer is nothing to snooze at. NFL tournaments were stacked in both events. The last having every top 5 team playing in it and most of the top 10 teams. Even if they did bring in players. Bringing in players is what the Crabs have always done. Players from other states that can't commute during spring. 91MD has followed suit and both teams where a bit better for it. If you sign up for these programs you can expect it. Crabs have been doing it for years.
The name calling on here is priceless. Getting on post for grammar and punctuation is hilarious. What are we writing term papers on here? Baltimore folks joking on AA or any other county is classic. Baltimore folks do know that the majority of the top players that have ever played for Crabs have come from AA County. Every Baltimore club has kids from every county on them. This is not up for debate. Posting rosters? Seriously? Yes , I dare someone to post my kids name on an open forum that allows anonymous posts. Every coach, club, as the right to see any roster prior to any competition.

Locally grown, nationally known. Crabs may have to change that. Bringing in players isn’t new, but it’s an indication that the local boys aren’t as enamored with the program. Still a strong program and they performed well this summer. Crabs will get stronger in HS. Hawks still the cream of this class. Good summer for Maryland teams. Crabs in finals of both NLF events and semis of Crab Feast, 91 MD winning NLF, Hawks winning Naptown and semis of Crab Feast, Roughriders winning Crab Feast and semis of Naptown, FCA finals of Crab Feast. Some do it with guest players and some don’t, but if you are on one of these top teams, your kid will get the looks they need to get recruited.

Whether rosters are posted on this anonymous forum or not, many clubs post their rosters. Crabs, FCA and Roughriders for starters.

Nothing like paying over $2k to sit on the bench for a team that imports players that reduce your son's playing time significantly. Then to top it off, you don't make the Conference semis and fail to win one measly summer tournament. I guess you can always sell your Crabs gear online for a premium to a bigger chump than you....

Exactly how youth sports was meant to be played..Holdbacks and bringing in out of state players for tournaments. Crabs and 91 are getting very good at it.
