Ease-up, remember Dukes “dominated” Hawks last time. How did that feel to be “manhandled”?

Hawks beat Dukes in a slugfest last time out! Championship game this past fall. Express held their own this weekend and played the best 2 teams in the country. No other LI team can beat Hawks or Dukes. Express got better this weekend while the rest where playing video games or community service or trolling this site or tourney machine for score updates. Express in 1 weekend played more real lacrosse than the rest of the island will all spring.

Dukes was missing almost half their team that Sunday for the Hawks game because a lot of the boys had a one day tournament in Philly with their local clubs. They had no FOGO.

Express was never in the Dukes game this weekend. It was 6-1 at half. And when they played in August Express asked to cut the second half time in half as it was totally out of hand.

With a full team no one comes close to Dukes. That just doesn't happen often.

I bet you get so angry reading this stuff and just can't wait for a reply. Congratulations - Dukes are on top of the world and are unbeatable. SMH- I love feeding into it

The whole Dukes versus anyone else discussion is just dumb - it's an apples to bananas comparison. Let the Dukes enjoy their faux 'dominance' over mostly other traditional club teams

Let any of the top 5 teams pick 3 choice players from another top 10 2022 team to add to their roster for a game against the Dukes. See what happens. Then ask the Dukes to show up at a popular Tournament where most of the top 10 2022 teams are participating and see what happens. There is a difference between owning and leasing a car.

Easy way to handle the Dukes is very simple. If the club reams all stand together banning players from joining other teams during the season. It's not really a conversation but if you take all the players and play other teams the deck is not evenly stacked is it? If Express, 91 and whatever other teams forbid players to go to the Dukes they would cease to exist!!

I don't think it's worth all the protesting/activism - just let them bask in their faux superiority. Everyone knows the real deal. It's the same thing as when an AA or A team goes into B tourney and wins.

How was the express parents and their red cups doing? The 23 parents were not happy with their kids playing time and losing to hawks

They all know the deal going in. But with 12 tournaments on their schedule, the playing time will more than most teams.

I thought this was a 2022 forum. Who cares about the 2023 Express team.

Your obviously one of the stunad parents on the Dukes. It's so much fun beating the crap out of a team for the win. Your the reason the sport has a reputation for having psycho parents!!! LAME

My son took a pass. Didn’t feel like making a donation when you know the teams are already picked.

Agree sent my son last year and it was just an expensive clinic. The equipment he received was nice but he only kept the bag and gave the rest to friends. If you have the money it is a good clinic nothing more or less.

The issue is that your son can have a great tryout, but plays above and a better player doesn't play as well and it seems teams are formed more from rep.

Looking for some advice on the UA 21/22 tryouts that is coming up. Is it a waste of time to try out even though most 22s won’t make it? Does it hurt your chances to make next years team if you don’t have a good tryout? My son is a 22 and wants to tryout and I told you most likely won’t make the team. He knows that but want to make it does hurt him if he try’s out next year.
