Squashed? They lost to express by 2 goals and Igloo A in overtime. I would not consider that squashed. Only game they got squashed was by Taz but they also beat Taz once. Unlike express igloo and any others (who always get squashed by taz)

Give the kid props. 4 out 5 goals in express game 1 including ot winner. 7 of 9 goals in the semi final vs express including the OT winner. Wins 75% of faceoffs, clears the ball everytime, great defense.

No one ever said that child was a bad Player. He looks Big now, because he is older. Maryland age cut off is different. it will all change soon enough MADLAX pound your chests while you can!!!

well then you should read what your other team mates post. They said that in the blatant tournament there was a AA , A, abs B division . If that is true , Rotolo's team won that day . Therefore making them the Better A team. Or the Better B team. Either way you had a chance that day to play Taz, Igloo express and TB. But you played in the B division . OOPS I MEANT A DIVISON. Or what ever division that makes you sleep better at night.

Yesterday our team tent was near Madlax's tent and we could see the kid and how he interacted with his teammates. You could tell that he was a normal kid that was well liked by his teammates. I've got a lot of respect for a true two way middie. A lot of parents insist that their kid play attack and get all the glory. Not this kid. He played his heart out dominating on both ends of the field.

Rotolo's team beat Legacy simply because Legacy lost their top 4 players to a soccer tournament after the third game so they didn't play in the championship. Rotolo's win was a fluke-just like when TruBlue beat Taz-won't ever happen again. Rotolo's team also lost to Shore 2 Shore at Blatant when Greaney's team beat them at the same tournament. Also heard that Greaney's team squashed Rotolo in a scrimmage. Greaney's team is much better.

There is no Outlaws 2024 A Team. That is why instead of using terms like Elite or Select they are called "Team Rotolo" or "Team Greaney". They are two B Teams. Not sure which team is better but they are certainly not A teams.

You really think a couple of months makes that big of a difference? Give me a break. Some kids will always be bigger. And some kids will always be smaller.

This must be an upset mom on the B team whose son didn't even play in the championship game. The divisions would not have been even stupid, get back in the kitchen. BTW did you see the update you beat the Legacy team who lost 4 of their best to a soccer tourney before your game. Play a real team, oh wait you may not get a t-shirt.

Based on your assessment, he will be about seven and a half feet tall, or more, in High School. Unless of course he is a hold back, in which case everyone will catch up in a year or two. And then, Mad parents will get their wish, and no one will be talking about him. Based on what we know about the Madlax organization, he is most definitely a hold back. We'll have to wait for next year though, for final confirmation of that, when he and Madlax are no where to be found in Denver. Hmmmm....

He may be a true 2024, but he is either 12 or 13 years old. Won't be seeing him in Denver, that's for sure... right Mad Daddy?!!!

I know a group of parents have told our director that we have no interest in that money grab. And yes, we are a top program. And yes we have a couple older kids who really dont add all that much. Its a joke.

Success of these teams will depend on the approach of parents. Rotolo will win B championships with a strong team of some A level players. Team Greaney will get pushed around in A because they are not a A team. Tough position for Outlaws b/c neither team is an A level Team.

My kids is on S2S and the Greaney team is better than Rotolo but like everyone is saying they are both B team, which is fine. Lots of good competition this year with the 2nd tier teams. Outlaws 2x, Igloo B, S2S, Express B, 91B, Legacy Launch, etc. Sure they are not the best teams on LI but all are solid and most games between them will be close.

Once again this leads to the notion that there are only 4 A teams on Long Island. All those teams mentioned would probably considered A teams in other states and yes that includes Maryland. No question there are definitely 4 teams that are at the top but the rest of those teams could fill that tier. Remember as bad as the Giants are, they are still a NFL franchise.

PB really should sell the club or disolve it. It keeps getting worse every year because of his arrogance.

That’s an abject lie. Rotolo was not cheering against Greaney team. 1. That’s not his style. 2. If S2S won, Rotolo would not have made championship. If by A teams you are referring to WP, Taz and Express then you are correct. Against any other team on LI they will do well. And since I’m sure those are the only teams you consider A teams then everyone else is a B team. Winning B tournaments is pretty good.

A few points:

1. Are you new to LI club lacrosse and/or have you surveyed the club landscape? If yes, to either, are you asking this question seriously??!
2. The lack of clear and accurate (honest?) assessment of what teams belong in which levels makes the idea of assessing individuals as to level even that much more difficult. Beyond the obvious AA teams and top players, it is a mess. And grade-based play only adds more mud to this problem.
3. There are 'A' players on 'B' teams that chose to for more playing time than sitting on a bench with an 'A' team - take every Express A team as prime example.
4. If you are truly an 'A' level player, but were not selected to an A team, what exactly are you supposed to do - not play??!
